Service was friendly but the food is pretty bad. I ordered the veggie skillet. The broccoli was barely cooked but all the other veggies were scorched to death. A perfect example of the food not being made fresh. They precook the potatoes with green peppers, mushrooms, and onions and threw two scrambled eggs on top and put a few pieces of fresh broccoli around the edges. For 14 dollars, I expect everything to be fresh for breakfast since the cost of the ingredients are so low. Came in with low expectations: we've been living in the High Desert since Obama was elected; we know what's what up here, lol. Been sitting here 40 minutes without food. We're the only table aside from the waitress' friends/family? How long does it take to make a salad? What, are they growing the lettuce? Baking the bread for croutons? The waitress was pleasant, though she spent the entire time sitting at another table talking to her peeps and being on her phone. Update: 5 minutes after posting this review, the salad and entrees arrived at the same time (wtf?). Both entrees (chicken mushroom, rosemary salmon) had exact same sides: 2 baby carrots, some zucchini, and 5 pounds of mashed potatoes. Per plate. The salmon, which we asked for undercooked because we know how they tend to cook fish too long, was overcooked anyway. Sauce was okay, though. The chicken was dry and the sauce was sweet. For 20 bucks a dish I'd rather have gone down the hill to Cheesecake Factory. Salad was boring and the breaded poached egg was hard, cold, and not runny, like it had been sitting there for who knows how long before someone thought to serve it to us. I came for lunch time. The place is sheik and I adore the decor. Since it's still a new spot, there were no other customers, but how do you complain about quiet? The service was great!, and the ladies were both friendly and attentive. The food was good, although, a bit dry. Which is why I'm giving a 4 star rating. Came here late night on the way to Las Vegas after reading the Yelp reviews. Sorry to say, but I was mostly unimpressed by the food and especially the service. I had the quesadilla appetizer. Huge portion and super greasy. It tasted all right, but it just got soggy after a while and was no longer appetizing. My friends got a burger and the fettuccine alfredo. I did taste the fettucine and the sauce was pretty delicious. So I'd say try that dish if you're into pasta. It took forever for our server to take our order. I overheard her talking with the bartender and she was like asking her if she thought we were ready. How about coming over and actually asking us?? We were seated on the Lounge side by the way. Food also took a while even though there were like 5 other people in the place. And also took forever to get our check. It was pretty annoying that the whole experience took over an hour when it was supposed to just be a quick bite on the way. Also, super overpriced for what they are offering. It's in a hotel for godsake. If you want to seem like a gastropub kind of establishment, do it in your own location. Overall it was pretty much a miss for me. read more

Hello everyone. If you like hot wings and want to try the best, I have ever tasted and I have eaten hot wings from dozen of places. Come here, happy hour you get 5 big wings, some celery and blue cheese dipping sauce for 4 bucks. Just the right combination of hot and flavoring and they are so juice and tender they just fall apart as you eat them. Also tried the Margherita pizza with white sauce it was good. But the wings awesome! The waitress was really nice, attentive, friendly, and joking around. Was in the bar and was pretty quiet a few people in suits and a handful of people at the bar. So if you like good food in a quiet environment, this place fits the bill. read more

Pros: new, modern, good recipes, and booze Cons: small place, and LA prices This place just had its grand opening a few months ago, and it looks very modern. Everything looks new but a lot of the tables had a wobble to them. This place is in the actual Holiday Inn hotel. Use the main entrance and head towards the right. The pictures make this place look a lot bigger than it actually is. I'd be surprised if they could seat more than 75. They put a lot of care in plating the food, it has a nice presentation. Had the frys, they look, taste, and smell like they were cooked with onion ring batter. They have mixed drinks and beer here too. read more

This place has, not only incredible service, but also incredible food. One of the best kept secrets in Victorville. The weird thing about it is that it's in a hotel, but that certainly doesn't take away from it's modern design and tidy upkeep. If you're looking for a great meal at a decent price, run to the Community Table. Every time I order breakfast I order it in a different way. Change out the toast for berries, maybe switch the potatoes for avocado... all these things add up to increased frustration with most waitresses, but these women handle the challenge like champions. My food comes out right every time! Seriously. Other reviews here talk about this place taking a little longer, but what is waiting when you're with friends or doing work? If you want fast food then go to a fast food chain. In N' Out is right across the street. I ordered the salmon a few times as well (one of the highest-priced items on the menu). Never disappointed. The burgers are fantastic. The breakfast, what I get most often, is always good (try the the 3-egg omelet or the sunrise sandwich) and the coffee is on point as well. read more

The food here is awesome for the area and the price point. I travel for work around 90% of the week. I've tried a lot of places. Do yourself a favor, eat here. It's typical diner style, come in grab a seat on the barstools. KATIE and AMY are by far the best. If you are lucky enough to get them, be polite. My coworker ordered the brisket sandwich and said it was ok but basically just sliced beef DRENCHED in BBQ sauce. I ordered the pizza with pepperoni and jalapenos.... That is where it gets really bad. Burnt crust with a soggy center. I think that this hotel's food price is the same as restaurants and reasonably priced compared to others that I've visited.. Especially for the amount of food. Nice high desert kept secret. Their happy hour is pretty awesome, wish I could of stayed longer and had a drink. I had the happy hour wings ( which were a little cold when I got them and the chicken tasted a little old) But the Angus bacon avocado burger was awesomely delicious. My wife had a glass of wine and tiramisu. Service was great our waiter was attentive. Will definitely be back and try to her menu options. We were staying in the hotel and after the long day we had, all we were looking for was anything convenient that would fill our bellies. This place did just that. As a hotel restaurant it's a 3.5 star. As a stand alone restaurant... it's probably a 1.5 star. Don't get me wrong, service is great, friendly and attentive. Beer selection was surprisingly great. But the decor was not great. Bad contractor work.. They need some help in that. We're from Boston so maybe the expectation is different. We had the pasta that was like an Alfredo lemon sauce with chicken. Pretty good but the sauce looked like it was from a jar... maybe it was the presentation... It tasted pretty good. But still probably won't visit just for restaurant. They even split our dish for us since we were sharing. We also had the wings, that was pretty good too. Nice and crispy. So all in all it was a decent experience and we returned to our rooms happy. But if I live in this area not sure I would return. read more

I have had many meals here at the Community Table over the past 2 years. This is my first review on Yelp for them. Today I am having the build your own omlett for breakfast today. I got everything in it, well of course. I'm a big boy. The omlett is just fantastic! Cooked just perfectly, the veggies on the inside were aldente, and plenty of cheese. My waitress is a pretty young lady named Jasmine C. This girl is full of smiles, whirling through the restaurant taking care of all the customers. She is just a real pleasure to have as a waitress. I have had many dinners here at night. OMG! The Pork chops are so over the top amazing! Cooked perfectly, wonderful glaze, and just melts in your mouth. It is my most favorite thing to eat here at the Community Table. Amy is my waitress/bar tender at night, she is another great person to work with. Full of smiles, friendly, and damn. Knows her dinks!
