I got the DAGWOOD B, and let me tell you... this thing is a full-on architectural achievement. Roast turkey, root beer ham, Swiss, pickles, chipotle chutney, pimento cheese, corned beef, fried shrimp, bacon, avocado, cilantro, red onion, lettuce, southwest mayo... what's not to love? It literally has everything. I couldn't tell where it started or where it ended... it was just one glorious mountain of flavor, and it tasted exactly as amazing as that ingredient list suggests. The beer list is huge... a pint for every possible pleasure. The sides, though... super mid. The mac and cheese was cold, and the corn elote was about 5/7ths butter. But honestly, I wasn't there for the sides. I'll be back... mostly to finish the other half of that absolute mamajama of a sandwich I couldn't conquer in one sitting.

The service was a bit random, but the drinks and snack were good. We sat outside, and there was a great vibe in the square!

If you've ever come to Lincoln square- you know parking is always a problem. You'll look for parking longer than you will wait in line to get seated. Was very lucky to find parking right away but thus place is also easily accessible by train, bus or walking. Located in the heart of Lincoln Square, I Came here for lunch with a friend of mine. I ordered half of a sandwich (skirt steak) and their squash soup- my friend ordered a chicken sandwich with squash soup. my toddler already ate so he just had juice. The atmosphere was really nice/ not too crowded but there were a few people who were on zoom/team calls but they didn't bother us. The food came relatively quickly and the portions were decent for the price. It was all very delicious- the squash's soup blew me away how good it was. plus the view from our window was so quaint and cozy- makes me want to come back when the snowing outside just to watch the snow fall as I work remote. Highly recommend checking this place out.

Jerry's is Lincoln Square's best kept secret when it come to enjoy good food. The sandwiches are the best and so many to select from. The staff are friendly and helpful and always make sure that the customer are having a great time. Jerry's also hosts drag queen story time, which is a thumbs up from me. I will look forward to enjoy lunch or dinner at Jerry's in the near future.

We've been to Jerry's well over 30 times in the last six years and it's honestly one of the best restaurants in the area. Perfect for breakfast, lunch, dinner. Great for entertaining friends or family. Wide selection of foods, everyone will find something they want with great service and a nice patio space.

I absolutely love coming to Jerry's! We always sit at the bar and have a good chat with whoever the bartender is that day. We are always served tasty, cold beer or cocktails of our choosing. The food is always really good and comes out without too long of a wait. I honestly don't get why the reviews are so bad. We've been coming here for a few years, especially on weekdays, and I've always had a great time.

This is one of the best spots in the neighborhood for sandwiches. It also just happens to be burger month, which means they have lots of delicious different options. They always have a good selection of beer on tap, and some good cocktails as well. The bartenders are super friendly!

I thought this place was so cute from the outside but would not recommend and will not be going back! After ordering food it took 45 minutes to come out. Fries and Mac & Cheese sides were cold. Fries had good taste but Mac & Cheese was bland. My side of fruit was over ripened, no flavor too soft. The Beef Brisket sandwich was too chewy which made it unappetizing. My sandwich had good flavor, but the chicken salad was too chunky--which made it messy to eat. Frankly, not even in the same realm as a chicken salad, the description should be changed. Only spoke with our waiter when we ordered, never saw him once after, had to flag down another waitress to pay our check. Atmosphere was very loud.

Sat at the bar and had great service with the bartender. The draft beer selective is massive and is expansive. The sandwich was delicious but the star of the show were the sides. I dream about the mashed potatoes with poblano gravy and can't wait to go back.

My friend and I came here from lunch and it was delicious. She got a salmon sandwich and I got the Jeri grilled cheese that I added a bunch of yummiest too. We both highly recommend the mac & cheese as a side and the house made chips. Her server was very attentive and awesome. We loved sitting outside by the fountain it was beautiful and a beautiful day. Highly recommend.

Little underwhelming considering the prices. $5 for a cup of coffee and $11 for a 4 oz mimosa was a bit much. Food was okay, our fried eggs were dry and overdone but the chicken was juicy, and tender and the french toast was great. Service was good and the drag show was the cherry on top. Cute and comforting interior.

LOVE Jerry's Sandwiches! In fact, it's a MUST for us when visiting Lincoln Square! Today I tried the Sandra O (so delicious, will definitely get again!) and my daughter had the Bill W (her favorite!) Portions are perfect, price is right, and such a nice atmosphere on the patio.

"Welcome back." I…read morehesitate. I know with absolute certainty that I have never stepped foot in Chicago. Yet, the bartenders greet us with such a warm and friendly energy that I know with absolute certainly that I have been a regular at this bar for years. Decades. Centuries. I know within my soul that this was my go-to bar in a past life (and hopefully in the next). Just as welcoming as the awesome people are the $1 PBRs and $3 shots of tequila. And of course they hand out free hot dogs every night at midnight, which in my (intoxicated) mind was cemented as the definitive Chicago dog, even if it comes with no toppings whatsoever. And fittingly complementing the amazing energy of the bar is a 10 hour Youtube video of that memed Ukrainian kid dancing at a club playing endlessly on the TVs. Rocking sunglasses and looking like a stud, absolutely grooving without a single care in the world, and effortlessly matching every single song on the bar's playlist. That kid truly embodies the spirit of this bar. No matter what day it is, what time of day it is, or who visits, the bar's energy always works. Vibing to Black Eyed Peas on a Monday night never felt better. Imma be... back one day, rest assured. I genuinely can't wait for the next time I'm greeted with, "Welcome back."

We sat in the back patio area. The patio was covered and heated, supposedly. It was cold back there to me. They have $30 bottomless mimosas for brunch from 11-3. I ordered the chicken sandwich and added an egg. I also had the hot tots that came with queso dip. The food was really good actually. The chicken sandwich surprised me at how flavorful it was. Service was okay. The kitchen seemed swamped, so it took awhile for food to come out. They didn't check on us super frequently. Overall, the food was good, and the people that I went with enjoyed the bottomless mimosa deal.

The potato chips the dip came with were massive, fantastic, ruffle cut slices. Dip was good, trout roe ($18) gave it that extra pop of flavor. Our favorite dish of the night was definitely the beef tongue, so tender and balanced with textures and acidity. Mains were: Pappardelle (mushroom and carrot ragu) - I liked this best out of the three pastas, pasta was very tender. Cappelletti (beef, celery root fonduta) - felt a little under al dente in the sections where it was pasta pressed against pasta. The beef filling was on the average side, a simple, braised beef. Strozzapreti (duck bolognese + parm reggiano) - pasta was cooked perfectly, but the sauce leaned salty. Our half chicken arrived once we were finishing the pastas. Juicy and tender, with the fat/skin rendered out nicely. The sauce was good, but felt the chicken itself was lacking seasoning/flavor. The remaining duck ragu came in handy for extra saltiness. Finished the meal with the terrazzo cheesecake, and gelato scoop trio (roasted vanilla, peanut butter cookie dough brownie, and frutti di bosco sorbet). Cheesecake was light and wiggly, definitely contained some gelatin and cubes of strawberry jello; not too sweet. I enjoyed the peanut butter gelato the most, was very tasty mixed with the sorbet to make a little pb and j concoction. They also gave a little slice of chocolate cake as we were there for a celebration. Overall, appetizers were a hit, with the dessert coming in second, and entrees following thereafter. Was ~$240 w the included 25% service fee between 3 people. The food feels like 3.5 stars as the food was inconsistently good across courses, but the service/ambiance pushes it to a 4. Worth a try if you can get a reservation.
