    Steak Fajitas

Tried the new steak fajitas tonight and I'm so glad I did. The marinade produces incredible flavor and the steak is incredible, plus the portions are huge and they come with a ton of condiments and some delicious refried beans.

Great place to hang out and do Karaoke, but make sure you check the price of the pitcher of beer. I have never in my life been charged $26 for a regular sized pitcher of beer. This is ridiculous. They charge a normal price for food, normal price for a shot , but to charge that much for a pitcher is just wrong. I will never ever come back here for that reason.

I am truly impressed! I have been waiting for months and months to say that!!! I am so excited! I've been searching for a laid back local with good food, service and atmosphere. Awesome food!!! Not just good 'bar food' but actual honest to God good food! The pizzas are awesome and the salads are actually good! Janelle was an amazing server! It's been forever since I've received such phenomenal service! The most impressive part of the experience was the manager Danny he was super hands on and made sure his guests were taken care of and happy... Pics and more to come!!! Check it out!!!

Under new management. Dennis has sold and we now have a new staff. Prices have remained including the very reasonable liquor and beer prices. New menu and items. Food is still good and well prices. They have cleaned up the area and have brought in more music. The crowds are starting to pick up and with some of the bands you need to arrive early if you want a seat. Time will tell if they can continue to improve.

How crowded are they during Sunday football games?

Usually you will find a seat. About 50-60% filled. They do have a good Bloody Mary and Breakfast.

Our server worked both the bar and our table and was friendly and kept our beers refilled. I had several of the house brews and really enjoyed the Orange Wheat and Ember Ale. Our group of World Cup Watchers started with the sampler platter and the cheese curds, fries and fried pickles were delicious. I ordered the smoked wings smothered in BBQ sauce and they were very good. The smokiness added a uniqueness to a meaty wing. I do think they could upgrade the TV set up by adding some 85 inch flat panels because my elderly eyes struggled to see the action from some of the TVs a little further away from our bar area hi-top. Nevertheless, it's a great bar restaurant that includes a game room. I can see why Bonfire is typically busy when I drive by it, on my way to pick up some beer or booze at Total Wine nearby. Thanks, Bonfire for being a fun, good luck World Cup host. Go USA! *Tip* Bonfire is kid friendly with a kids menu and gaming room. Bring on the NFL season!

The totchos were great, I ate more than my stomach appreciated. My husband ordered a fried chicken sandwich with marinara and a cold beer. I did not ask him how his meal was, but his sandwich disappeared pretty quickly so im assuming it was tasty. The woman running trivia was delightful, with a fantastically dry sense of humor. At one point she mentioned she once got to see Prince and touched his ankle. Long story short, I have now touched the hand that touched Prince's ankle. We made it through 7 rounds of trivia and somehow WON! A crowning achievement of year 37 of my life, for sure. This win earned us: a $25 gift certificate to the lovely Sawtooth Bar & Grill establishment, a rubber ducky of our choosing, a crystal pendant (optional), and 1 week of ownership of the trivia night trophy . We did not trust ourselves to remember to bring back the trophy, and I did not trust some of the fellas to bring it back in one piece, so the bar staff graciously took custody of it until next week's trivia night. The bar itself is super cozy. Nice low lighting, small place but you don't feel cramped. Lots of TVs and a few arcade games. My husband and his BFF frequent this spot and tell me wonderful things about the owner. With the decor, setup, menu and general ambience, it feels like a Midwestern bar more than one in AZ. All in all, I really enjoyed myself and will happily return for another trivia night. If the staff ever happens upon this review, I apologize for the conjoined twins that are my husband and his best friend Scott. They're like a couple of labradors out on a play date when they're together. Thanks again for the fantastic evening, Sawtooth!
