Came tonight for the Albatross band! Service was spectacular even in the busy bar. It's a no frills bar and one you feel automatically welcomed in. We ordered food, I would recommend the tater tots if you like crispy plain tots and the cheese curds. We also got 20 boneless wings, attached are halves of some of the wings we received. All of the wings were over fried which although made them crispy made them EXTREMELY difficult to cut in half with a fork. The ones in the photos were more breading than chicken and spurred me to make this review as I was disappointed. Definitely would recommend coming but would stay away from the boneless wings. Busy place, nice for a drink, but the food is not good at all. We had Cajun wings and they were covered in sugar. The chili for the chili dogs was gross, greasy and black/burnt. Couldn't finish our food. But the service was amazing, good crowd and good beer. It can't be that hard to up your game with food, hopefully they get it right. read more

Classic sports bar vibes, I really enjoyed it! I visited three times-- once on a Sunday, Tuesday, then again on Friday. Sunday had a good crowd enjoying the football games. All the employees are friendly and greet you as you come in. Owners came by the table to say hi. Damien the cook was kind and shared about upcoming specials. (Tamale Tuesday for the holiday, typically Taco Tuesday). Ann Marie was our waitress she was efficient and really friendly! I ate pizza on Sunday and it was fresh and good sized. Tuesday I had their Tamale plate and it didn't disappoint--very flavorful and homemade salsa was fresh and had a nice kick. Ashton was an awesome waitress on Tuesday. Friday I had their French Dip --unbeatable. Generous portions, seasoned fries and really delicious. Great deals and happy hours. I'd come here all the time if I lived nearby. read more

4 stars because the waitress was amazing. Unfortunately I don't remember her name. Food is j very greasy. I know, I know it's bar food. But when I say greasy it's kinda soaked in grease like when the grease isn't hot enough when you out food in it. Also the bread for my club sandwich was greasy or just way over buttered. read more

Great place to hang out and do Karaoke, but make sure you check the price of the pitcher of beer. I have never in my life been charged $26 for a regular sized pitcher of beer. This is ridiculous. They charge a normal price for food, normal price for a shot , but to charge that much for a pitcher is just wrong. I will never ever come back here for that reason. read more

Had one of the better Reuben sandwiches I have had in years. Cole Slaw and Baked Beans are tasty and flavorful.

I moved away from the area a few years ago, but decided to stop in while I was around, and boy has it changed. The bartender was taking shots behind the bar and only paying attention to customers she knew. The place was dirty, the condiments on the tables were disgusting and the cook was yelling and throwing stuff in the kitchen. Definitely not the fun neighborhood bar it used to be. read more

Under new management. Dennis has sold and we now have a new staff. Prices have remained including the very reasonable liquor and beer prices. New menu and items. Food is still good and well prices. They have cleaned up the area and have brought in more music. The crowds are starting to pick up and with some of the bands you need to arrive early if you want a seat. Time will tell if they can continue to improve. read more

Great neighborhood pub. Staff are all very friendly. Patrons are also very friendly. The beer is cold. Bar food menu is also very tasty

Had breakfast up at the bar. The bartendress clearly wanted to be anywhere but behind that bar. Waited 20 minutes for a coffee refill. After asking her she decides walking off and not acknowledging customers is the way to go. Food arrives and it's ice cold. Too another 15 minutes to be bothered to even ask how my food was even though I pushed it to her edge of the bar almost immediately after receiving it. They got my girlfriend's order wrong as well. My order got comped. Then I was charged for someone else's tab. No apologies. No acknowledgement that the experience overall was crap.. No nothing. We'll thankfully except for being charged for what I didn't eat. Definitely not returning. read more

Had the pepperoni pizza. It was good and not over priced. It was an open mic night with Kevin Crum hosting. All of the participants did a great job. The open mic happens on the first and third Tuesday of the month. The sign up sheet is usually ready by 5:30 and the music starts at 6:00, ending at 9:00 or a little past depending on the number of participants. Great stage and sound, too. read more

Weigh your food before you eat it. Management is rude. BUT I've been here 9 or 10 times so although I likely won't return because of my last visit, I'll give a full review of the place and food starting with the last visit since it's what prompted the review. A friend and I came in for dinner on a Friday night and ordered the cheese curds, soup, a few beverages and the cheeseburgers. Now the menu has two regular burger items "1/4 lb cheeseburger" for $8.50 and a "B.Y.O. BURGER for $9." Various items are listed that you can add for $1. Admittedly, I did not read the title off the menu and say I wanted the '1/4 lb cheeseburger' but I didn't say BYO burger either. I said "CHEESEburger." The menu does not say that there is a difference in weight with the BYO burger (apparently it's 1/2 lb). I personally thought the difference was the cheeseburger was a regular cheeseburger and the BYO you could add whatever fun ingredients you wanted. Even if I had known there was a difference in weight, I would not have been able to tell just by looking at the burger. Not clarifying the waitress put in the BYO Burger + cheese not the menu item that's actually called a cheeseburger. When the bill came, I saw our cheeseburgers were $10 and asked the waitress. She came back with a blond manager lady who told us, "The time to say that our order was wrong was before you ate it." I explained that I didn't know I was going to be charged for the wrong item when it came to the table and asked why was it a $1.50 difference for the BYO burger when we didn't order anything be added. That's when we found out that the BYO burger is actually 1/2 lb. I pointed out the menu doesn't say it's bigger burger and I didn't have a scale to weigh it to know they gave me the wrong food even if I'd known. Her attitude was very rude and I certainly didn't appreciate how we were treated by her. I've spent hundreds of dollars there and you're going to lose my patronage over $3?? The waitress was super apologetic and had been otherwise very attentive. She said most people order the "1/4 lb cheeseburger" when they want the $8.50 burger (My guess being they probably had experienced the error based on the poorly written menu before with less offensive consequences) but that her hands were tied. The waitress also told us that she only does this on the side to help out there having a regular full time job. I don't fault her being a part timer but a manager should know better and treat people better. We had started frequenting this restaurant during the pandemic in an effort to support local establishments especially after Teakwoods closed. A friend had initially told us they had gotten burgers to go and they were great so we tried the place out going whenever I didn't have children to feed. The burgers are very good. I don't notice a difference between the 1/4 & 1/2 myself but if I wanted extra meat it's probably worth the $10. So make your cheeseburger $10 and stop trying to trick people into ordering the wrong thing with a crappy menu. It's not worth being treated rudely and will probably take me some time to get over. Maybe the manager was having a bad night or maybe that's how she always is. IDK. The cheese curds were great. As are the wings which I have had previously. I've tried their pork sandwich which is sometimes the special. It was grisly, chewy and small nothing like you'd get in the midwest. (go to the Hub for this). The last two times I've ordered tots they have been overcooked but I've also had them when they were amazing. The walleye fish is just okay as is the French onion soup. Soup is not their specialty. I see people order pizza all the time so it' must be okay but I am a pizza snob and prefer to get it from a pizza place (Streets of NY is in the same parking lot. Clockwork, Jim and Joe's, Venezia's and Rosatis are also close) I've had the French Dip special which was tiny, not very flavorful and the bread was off. I've been with people who've gotten the hot dog and enjoyed it. The fries and side salad are as expected. Food aside, the drinks have always been good and reasonably priced. The waitstaff is always friendly and usually pretty attentive. Though you may have to wait a few extra minutes when it's busier it hasn't been excessive in my experience. The atmosphere is dark maybe a little grimy (especially the patio) but tables, utensils and plates have always been clean. I also appreciated the paper menus rather than food covered stained ones. The crowd is older 55+ (although I don't mind) with many regulars and not just when they have live music or trivia nights. Almost every time I went in I recognized several people I'd seen there before. I probably won't next time as I am sure it will be a while if there is a next time. In the meantime, Sawtooth, Dirty Blond and Good Time Charlie's all have good food and have always treated me with respect. Another bonus is they are good places to take teens when you have to feed them. read more

What a nice surprise. This is definitely a full service bar, but a friend and I stopped in for lunch, today. Mathia, the Friendly Bartender, brought us a menu and took our order. I asked and she said the chicken wings were grilled , then fried. I ordered plain and my friend ordered Cajun. We both got a small house salad, a nice mix of greens, tomatoes, cucumbers and grated cheese. Fresh and tasty. The wings were excellent, plump and juicy. Prices were very reasonable. Service was excellent! If you like yummy bar food in a friendly atmosphere, great service, and low prices for good food , Jersey D's is a great choice. We'll be back. Thanks, Mathia . read more

I go here a lot since it is near a dear friend's house. The food is not good, this is a place for drinking only. The waitresses are bitchy. The patrons are sketchy and 75% ancient. But....on various nights they have Wii (bowling!), and karaoke, and occasionally a decent band. The management and bouncers are good people. They have a free sober shuttle if you live in the area. They have a popcorn machine that the bouncer refills all night long and it's self-serve and FREE. All in all this is a good place to go with a friend or two to kick back and have a few drinks. Come here after you have eaten in any of the better places on the Ray/Kyrene-Priest-I10 area. read more

The crowd itself on a Saturday night, honestly, had me wondering if I was going to be followed home, murdered, and scattered about the dessert in body bags. Older 40's+ bar flies with bad staring problems. What...you've never seen 6 cute girls sitting at the bar before? Live band was cool. I like Jersey's because it's got a "Hole-in-the-wall-MEETS-modern-sports-bar vibe." It's spacious and has a pool table, if that's what you like. The food is decent. The downside is their patio which is dark and narrow...just not very inviting. It's not that big of a deal for people who like to stay inside, obviously. And it's not even their fault. In fact, Teakwoods next door has a super small patio too. Either way, It's a place I'll visit again, but nothing particularly redeeming. Heard they have great bands lately. We used to go all the time, but the food sucked, it was a hole and the only good thing we used to say about it was it was a good place to take a sh.... Now they have let the only cool bartender go because he was a guy. Most of the girls were horrible and not all that to look at. Plus they promote the free shuttle, but normally the guy who was suppose to drive it was too drunk to be the driver. Time to find a new home in Chandler. read more

Came here on a few occasions on Tuesdays. They have a great happy hour Tuesday jumpoff... Music has a lot to be desired for, but it's a dive, no big. I mostly just come here because it's close by and I can watch the sports highlights on tv.... However, on this night, myself and my group were sitting at a table. We were the only minorities in the bar. We asked one server (who was white) for a drink. She stated she had to get someone else because she was going home. 40 minutes later, and she was still there helping the other "white" patrons. We were not rude or loud or obnoxious. Some people's intentions are obvious. The server who DID help us was quite nice. However, due to the treatment we got from the first server, we probably will not be back. read more

Love this bar! I've been coming here for years - and I may just be a little biased about this place since I met my hubby here! The ownership has recently changed but the regulars and staff are still the same and super awesome. Great tasting food, wide variety on the menu and fantastic prices! I haven't had anything here that I didn't like. Happy Hour every day (think it's pretty much all day long on Saturday & Sunday). Best thing about this place is they have LIVE MUSIC every weekend! They also always have their calendar up to date on their Facebook page so you can easily see who's playing that week. Love that they keep their fans informed. They also have a ton of TVs so pretty much every game you could want to watch is available. There's a pool table, dart board and jukebox available. Plus I've seen people playing Cornhole & Beer Pong on the weekends (beer pong later at night). It's family friendly, so at times there are kids their with their parents. Jersey's is cool. Plain and simple. Doesnt look like much from the outside but it has got some spirit. they have a lunch special or happy hour I think where they have a 3 dollar gyro. For sho hard to beat. Not the greatest food but who cares. They are really friendly and when I went back the bartender remembered my drink even though it was kind of busy. That is cool. They also have fun stuff like Wii sports and bean bagging and karaoke. Good place to meet people and hang out and do what you want. One other thing.... they have sports packages where I always get to watch my Red Sox. A place should not be considered a sports bar if you cant watch the game you want when it is on. First time here at Jerseys. Tucked away in a strip mall next to a variety of shops. First impression---This is a bar for career alcoholics. I have a feeling these people are in the same exact spot every single day, seemed to me everyone knew each other, and the bartenders knew exactly what they drank and when to give them a new cocktail. I'm betting they all live within a couple of miles from here too. Stage for bands, pool tables, smoking patio typical bar scene. No IPA's on draft had to settle for a Kilt Lifter, did not eat food but it looked like a typical bar menu, fried food, burgers, pizza. If my friends band wasn't playing here, I probably would of never stepped foot in this place. Jerseys........ehhh.......I've been in better, I've been in worse. This bar is a solid C on the grading scale. If there was a 1/2 star I would of given it 2 1/2. Side note.....bar staff and waitress was very attentive and great.....5 stars for them. read more

Bunch of seniors hanging in this bar on a Saturday afternoon. Patio looked pretty uninviting (mostly for smoking) so i watched the game from a table near the bar. Clearly, there are plenty of TV's and somebody actually knows what games and what channel to put them on. Props for that news. Burgers, sandwiches and the usual suspects were popping up, but the weekly specials for Saturday were chicken enchiladas. It was the waitress' favorite dish (aren't they all), so I went for it and it turned out very good. The red cream sauce that was advertised might have been on there, but it was more like a cheese sauce mixture that was also mentioned in the description. It was bright though and kind of looked like a meteor when served. The only thing that elevated it was the excellent addition of green chilies to the shredded white meat chicken inside the three corn tortillas. The chilies added some zing to the dish and both the rice and beans were serviceable. Nice waitress and an all day happy hour made for a good lunch. I also noticed that nothing in this place is priced over $7.99 and the famous $4.99 burger deal is really about $6.25 if you add cheese. Good local bar. read more

Looking for a place to play some buzztime trivia. Expecting a dive bar and it sort of is but on the upper end thus it's called a tavern. It's a local hangout. Friendly group of folks. Not to mention, Dennis the Menace, the owner came out to chat with us too. Amazing how one woman's review is different than a few men. I came for lunch and left with new friends. Local Sports Bar with decent food, well priced drinks, HUGE inside televisions, COUCHES on the outside smoking Patio (with more TVs)...friendly people...speedy service... Wow, it just occurred to me that Jersey's is a really great spot. I suppose something about the fact that it's a chill Sports Bar makes me hesitate in raving about it. But, I find no fault with them...hmm... Let's keep going: They have live music on the weekends, corn hole, that blue hand held trivia game thingy, a dance floor, high tops, low tops, booths...and some of the best bartenders in the damn state.
