I'll start with the highlights: - if you are looking for a place to watch football, they have great TVs and a TON of TVs, so you'll definitely get your game. - my FAVORITE perk was how organized they were with mapping out what games were on what TVs. Each TV in the bar has the teams attached to it. And then each table has a map with the giant TV wall behind the bar, so you can see which TV is playing which game. As someone who cares a lot about this, it was a highlight of my visit. - their beer prices can't be beat - our server was great and super attentive, even when a huge rush hit, she always had us taken care of Not necessarily bad, just not the highlights: - on the final weekend of regular season NFL, with multiple playoff implications games being aired, they stuck with the Cardinals sound, despite the restaurant being filled with tons of Bears and Broncos fans. I would have taken the sound to literally any other game, rather than the Cards. I get it's the home team, but it was a throwaway game and other games were critical, and the fan bases were there. - the food wasn't great. The mozzarella sticks could have been really good, but two of the four were dripping in grease and we couldn't really eat them. The other two were delicious. read more

We came here after our flight into town. We had great service. They made my son bone in instead of boneless and they remade it and then comped the meal. And he had a full set of wings to take home. Hubby wanted to have dinner here last night. We had a female server. She seemed irritated. Hubby got his usual beer & I got the Desert Peach. Like always the beer was ice cold. My drink was good, but this time it was heavier on the lemonade & not the cranberry juice. We always order the pretzel bites & queso. This time the cheese sauce was a bit spicy. We kept waiting for them to come out, but we didn't have them when our meals came. Our server didn't put them in. We had her put them in anyway. They also had a lot of table salt on them this time. Hubby got the traditional wings with blue cheese dressing. I got the fish sandwich and onion rings. I really wanted a fish sandwich. Theirs comes with jalapeño tater sauce. I don't like the taste of jalapeño & I don't like spice. I ordered mine with Mayo & pickles. Hubby liked his wings. I took one bite & spit it out because the fat wasn't rendered. The blue cheese dressing was good & had crumbled blue cheese on top. My fish sandwich was okay. It was a bit over cooked & greasy. The onion rings were okay. Service was super slow as we waited awhile for to go boxes & then again for the check. We will take a break from here for a little while. This place is located West of the NW corner of Baseline and Arizona/Country Club. There are many tvs and the service was efficient. There were many pictures of the inside posted already. All the burgers have a vegan burger option. We got the dragon slayer burger with broccoli slaw and side of grilled chicken (see photo). The burger was not spicy and on the small side. The side of grilled chicken was small as well. The jalapeño shrimp wrap was small relative to the tortilla and not spicy. The broccoli slaw was very good. I ordered a club sandwich from here and I started eating it and something felt gritty in my mouth. Not sure what it was but felt like eating dirt. I took the sandwich a part and there were several spots of dirt in the sandwich. Needless to say I threw it away and it was a big sandwich that looked really good. The good, they usually have good food if you catch them on the right day. The bad, unfortunately, the bartenders are slow and tend to hangout with their coworkers seated at the bar rather than being bartenders for the rest of the bar. Usually go with friends who hung out at their previous location and loved it. They are also disappointed in the place after the move. Have had issues with the music videos they choose to show sometimes instead of sports. Recently, they are mostly empty each time we have visited. Very high quality food! Big burgers. Plus, their chicken strips (and breaded chicken sandwich) are out of this world! They sound basic, but they are brined and hand breaded, truly special. The shoestring fries are not my personal favorite so I suggest just going with the chips. Good assortment of beer taps (including top locals: Church Music, Kilt, etc.) and they whip up a damn good Long Island Iced Tea, highly recommend!! I was craving a bloody mary and decided to try The Draft since they have mimosas and bloody marys for $6 on Saturday and Sundays. This is a great place to watch a football game and have a drink. Not only will you enjoy watching football and having a drink and some food, but the service is amazing. I wish I could remember our server's name because she went above and beyond. She was very nice and checked on us often. The menu has your typical burgers/sandwiches sportsbar food, but it also has some unique iteams like Caribbean jerk shrimp and Korean BBQ lettuce wraps. I ordered a burger and it was ok. My boyfriend had the ultimate grilled cheese, which he said was really good. This was our post golf '19th hole' stop after golf at Kokopelli Golf Course. This a great family oriented Sports Bar owned by Jay and Jill. It was college football 'rivalry Saturday' and they had the Arizona VS Arizona State game on, needless to say it was quite a lively place! We ordered some nachos and fries and everyone was very pleased with the food quality and service. It was fine for the first 30 minutes but dude seemed like he was getting upset. Got pissed every time we asked for another round. Like 2 times In An hour. Went there after a day of golf. The service was quick and the food was excellent. The crispy chicken burger was a hefty portion with fresh lettuce tomato and onions. The buffalo chicken wrap was huge. Had to take half home. Our server kept an eye on us and was there for additional drinks and anything else we needed. So disappointed today. We've come here a few times because it's the only place in the valley we have found panko breaded mozzarella sticks. Coming from WI we loved our wonton and these are the closest to them. I'm not sure what was going on today but the waitress forgot our order of mozzarella sticks, our food took forever to come out, and when it did everything was cold. My husband questioned if the prime rib cause it tasted off. And be careful with the olives I bit into a pit! We are hoping this was just an off day as all restaurants have them. read more

Been a fan of this place since they were located on Alma School but a lot has changed and sadly, not for the good. It was always a family friendly place but shortly after they moved to the Country Club location kids were not allowed in the evening. Also, food prices increased but it was good food and we were familiar with the staff. However, the food is not what it used to be. They had this delicious beer bread but it's more like an over fried tortilla now. No flavor and definitely not work the $$$. So disappointed! Goodbye Draft. It was good while it lasted. read more

I've been a regular at The Draft and always enjoyed the atmosphere and food. Unfortunately, I won't be going back after a recent disappointing experience. During my last visit, a new waiter, who I found out is the bartender's brother, kept walking uncomfortably close between my mother and the neighboring table. Knocking into her chair and arm several times. She remarked a couple times out loud asking for him to stop. But he kept doing it. To make matters worse, I overheard him and the bartender discussing us, which felt unprofessional and disrespectful. It's a shame because I used to love coming here, but the lack of consideration from the staff has turned me away for good. It's sad to see a place I once enjoyed lose its welcoming vibe. read more

I went to this place before it was bought out by new ownership, and the food was immaculate, the place was clean, and the service was great. I've been served by Autumn and Makenna who were the best servers I've had in a long time. They were friendly and inviting and accommodating. (My orders are a bit complicated) I didn't think much would've changed with new management, but the place is very different than before. Food quality went severely down. My food took an unreasonable amount of time. The service was terrible. I felt like I was bothering the staff. The new manager Jay was also not friendly at all and I'm pretty sure he was intoxicated. Pretty unprofessional as a manager when speaking to patrons. I also saw an interaction that he was being overly verbally aggressive with an employee while clearly intoxicated. The server was clearly uncomfortable. I also saw what seemed like underaged employees working?? I'm pretty sure that's illegal. I used to come here when they were on Grove. 1 thing I can say is that this places has OUTSTANDING service, management, & food. Today is football Sunday and we have our kids here this is definitely family friendly, so don't be discouraged to bring the kiddos. The food is amazing Definitely recommend their kids pizza! Lol it is delicious. This place is walking distance from me and deserve every cent of my hard earned money. The staff seems to work as a team and have great chemistry, and it shows. The women here are sweet professional and hard working and the dudes are helpful and working their asses off. I can't tell you how much I love it here. 10/10 would recommend. Let me start off by saying we have always LOVED The draft! We were there for when they first opened on Alma School & the 60. Awesome place, the ambience and service . Fast forward to the new location of baseline and country club. Long story Short the service sucks ‍. Honestly. The food is always good, the homemade chips are the best part. The food prices are kind of pricey BUT that's understandable with inflation today. Reason for my review is because we took a trip for lunch today. To start off we were shocked that a SIX piece Mozzarella stick appetizer was $15. We moved on for something else. It wasn't busy at all (I counted) there were 10 tables/parties. We sat down and the drinks came right away. It was then time to order - the menu gives the option for a vegan patty "ask about our vegan patty's". We did. And they didn't have any. This was not the first time but if you don't have it, take it off the menu. Anyway, we put our order in and it definitely took some time. I've waitressed for some time in my life and it wasn't somewhere that is as free wheeling as the draft. We had rules and had to handle tables in a certain amount of time or we had the chance of being written up/ fired. I know things take time but today just seemed like more time than normal to bring out a KIDS grilled cheese, Mac & cheese and a bunless burger with just onion, lettuce and tomato. We rolled with it. Again, we love the draft. Once we got our food our waitress NEVER came back. Not to ask about drinks, not to ask how our food was, just not at all. So if there were any issues she wouldn't have known. In the mean time, she was standing 6 feet away from us at the bar flirting with a male customer. I gave her time to finish her convo or even look over at us to wink or (with her face) ask us if we needed anything. Never happened. We were waiting for her to come over so we could order another kids grilled cheese to replace the vegan patty that they did not have. She never came. I had to get up from my table and walk to the bar to ask her if we could get another grilled cheese. She put it in and again she never came back. The bartender saw us (kudos and also not his job) but he came over and asked us if he could refill our drinks and take some plates away. Thank you sir! We waited about 15/20 for our grilled cheese. Once we got it we were ready for the bill. That was the most and fastest our waitress came to our table was to give us the check and charge our card. Today's experience really removed the draft from my top 5 eat out choices. Again, as a prior waitress I would never not tip someone but also believe you don't just deserve 20% / 25% tip. You have to do some kind of work. Hopefully this helps but hopefully either their waitresses change their attitude OR they find someone who actually needed a job and would be happy to work there. read more
