All of their ice cream and frozen yogurt is made fresh unlike other places. If you order an ice cream cone or cup, or one of their sundays or milkshakes, I guarantee you will never have had better. There is also a nice outdoor seating area where you can enjoy your treat. Also they make the very best ice cream cakes for under $20. These ice cream cakes are loaded with goodies and incredible. People forget that they make food here too. Hamburger or hotdog platters are great here. If you want to eat there is a separate entrance for food from the ice cream section. Tried the chicken salad on a Kaiser roll and a side of tomato soup. The chicken salad was finely chopped. I usually like the big chunky chicken but this one did not disappoint. I've lived in the area for years and have only come for the ice cream. Their pistachio soft serve is to die for! Not overwhelmingly sweet or overwhelming taste of pistachio, just enough to make you crave more until your next visit! You place your order at the register and then go sit in the dining area and they will bring the food to you. The staff is very friendly and accommodating, and the food comes out pretty quick! My go to is the tuna melt basket. This can easily be 2 meals! The tuna is really, really good- I don't like a lot of crap (nuts, berries, etc) on it and they keep it simple just how I like it! I've also had their soups, fav is tomato bisque. The burgers are also yummy! Cash only for ice cream but they accept credit cards on the other side. Sometimes you go to places leaving full and kinda gross after eating there, but that's def not the case here. I leave feeling full and satisfied and look forward to my next meal here! Came here on my Bruce Springsteen pilgrimage, and wasn't disappointed! Even though Bruce is t a fan of vanilla or chocolate ice cream, I was a big fan of the swirl! It was pretty deserted on a Sunday night, but the service was good, and the prices are reasonable!
