It's been awhile since I had Jersey giants, and wanted something somewhat healthy for dinner. I have been looking for a good tuna salad in Kalamazoo and this one is definitely on the list. I added Mayo, pickle, and onion to it! The tuna was flavorful and not dry and the veggies were fresh and cut nicely. Can't wait to try some more sandwiches! read more

Disappointing. Previous expectations were unfulfilled. We have been fans of Jersey GS for a while, but today were baffled by the order we received. A single layer of beef and american cheese is not a sub, it is an insult. Not a bargain when what we received by both weight and volume was bread. Dry bread. I always say, "Serve me one bad meal, I'm out of here for good." read more

The first sandwich I ever ate here was its signature #8, a.k.a. The Jersey Giant, and it tasted so good I've rarely ordered anything else. The #8 comes with ham, capacola, salami and cheese. I get it "straight up," which is lingo for lettuce, tomato, onion, Jersey Juice (oil and balsamic vinegar), and salt and spices. The Jersey Juice and spices make the sandwich amazing. Add in the fresh-baked 16" buns and the hand-sliced meats and cheese, and there is no reason on earth to eat a sub anywhere else. Just don't expect many choices of toppings like their competitors offer; at Jersey Giant it's all about the meat, and lots of it. (After you eat here you'll consider all those extra veggies at the other places to be no more than cheap filling.) When your sub is ready they will wrap it in old-fashioned white butcher paper sealed with freezer tape, then hand it to you with the sub positioned horizontally. You'll want to carry the bag that way or the Jersey Juice could soak the wrapper. And -- trust me -- you won't want to lose one precious drop. read more

I cannot say enough about Jersey Giant Subs, from the freshly-made sandwiches to the customer service! I have been working with Ken to feed our high school baseball team between weekday double headers. The process has been super easy, and Ken responds quickly to my email communication and last minute changes. The employees have been friendly and everything is ready to go and neatly packaged with each player's name on their respective sub. You can't beat the price for a sub, chips and cookies! I highly recommend if you need to feed a sports team! read more

This review is a long time coming, as Jersey Giant has been my favorite sandwich shop by a mile for years! The owner, Ken, is a genuinely nice guy, so I hope you have the pleasure of meeting him when you stop in. I always love to come in here and get a solid sub on a fresh made bun. The meat is top quality and the combination of oil and vinegar along with mayo is amazing. This is a no frills old school looking place (even though it's in a strip mall). The guys taking the orders are quick and too the point but the quality never fails! read more

Truly tasty sandwiches! Love the turkey and cheese, and always oil and vinegar with Jersey spices! Chocolate chip cookies are great also, but you may not be able to eat a cookie and a whole sub! (I usually have 1/2 sub and maybe a cookie) come to Jersey Giant HUNGRY! Also, staff are always super friendly! read more

1 full sub, 2 half subs and 4 drinks, close to $50!!! Am I missing something here? For subs??? They are good, but not THAT good. On top of that, they rang me up before topping the subs, and gardienera was $1 more, so I had to pay cash for that. Won't be back unless they lower their prices. I can see them being more than Subway, but not this much. Hopefully they will lower prices to a reasonable price. read more

I'm just surprised as at least when I was a server. I would've been told if you have time to lean you have time to clean or to start congregating.
