I usually order Big Kahuna cheese steak and it's usually great... Except for today... My wifes cheesesteak was WET.... Bottom bun completely soaked in whatever grease was on that flat top... We stopped at the Smokey Point Jersey Mike's in Arlington on our way home to Kitsap from Anacortes. The sandwiches were excellent, and the staff was even better. Besides being greeted when we arrived and helpful service with our order, the team showed their true character after we left. When we got on the Edmunds ferry I realized I'd left my new coat at the restaurant. When I called in I spoke with Chloe, who assured me they had my coat and would hold it until I could arrange to retrieve it later in the week. HUGE relief! This place was so filthy (garbage overflowing onto the floor, every tabletop dirty, food prep area disgusting, used cups and rotting food under the food prep counter that was behind where they make the public's food (so I could see under from where I was standing). First impression: 3 tables being used, the rest are empty and super dirty. The cashier is a teenager and seems annoyed to be working. He doesn't make eye contact with me and barely speaks to me. I ordered a chicken, bacon ranch sandwich with a pop. I fill my cup and try to find a clean table and there are none. There is 1 cashier, 1 "cook" and then 2 or 3 people in the back. I had to clean my own table In order to sit down. My sandwich was very hot and brought out to me quickly. It tasted exactly like the sandwich I ordered but it was really nothing special. Ordered a club, mikes way and got a turkey and provolone w/out mikes way. I asked the guy making the sandwich where the bacon was while he was wrapping it up and he asked do you want bacon? I said yeah, I ordered a club. Then I realized I never saw him cut ham so I asked him if he added ham and he lied to my face and said yes. They still charged me the extra money club as well. This location used to be so good. I was one of the first of 3 people there order a number 7 and a hot sandwich philly. The counters were gross. No clean up between sandwiches and the lettuce was just sad. Tomatoes looked like they have been sitting out forever. Lunch rush came in. I was the first one to order. They gave me my cold sub. I ate my entire sub before my boyfriends was even brought out to me. I waited close to 25 minutes before me second order came out. The poor girl at the register looked new and was trying to do everything as fast and she can but still nervous but they rest didn't seem to care when she was struggling with some things on the register. read more

Points accumulate fast, especially if you place your order on Tuesdays, when it's "double points" day. Stopped in here for lunch around 1:30 on a Sunday. There was 1 customer ahead of me who ordered 2 subs. The first employee took my sandwich order, only asking what kind of sandwich I wanted, so I'm figuring the sandwich dressings will be addressed second. The associates seemed very preoccupied but not with the sandwiches they were making. I got my sandwich already wrapped up with only meat and cheese. The sandwich itself was on the small side and a little light on the meat. Unfortunate because as far as sandwich chains go, this is probably my favorite. This is the first time I ate at Jersey Mike's. We don't have one where I live. I would drive 2 hrs to get a sub. I ordered the Philly cheese steak. Out of all the different Philly Cheese Steak subs I ate at various places this is the best. Probably because they grill the meat there instead of all ready cooked and microwaved. Also I believe they put more meat on the sandwich compared to leading sub shop without paying extra. Hopefully we will get one so I don't have to drive a couple hours. read more

The worst service ever and my husbands 'Big Kahuna' sandwich was a full 2 inches smaller than my regular Sammy. When we asked about it, the server said oh the bread shrinks when it's heated. Showed up at appointed time food not ready. 20 min later finally get my food. 2 people walk in while myself and at least 2 others are waiting for our orders, an place their orders get their orders, pay and leave. If I would of had my phone I would of video them giving someone who ordered food a walk behind tour of the food area. No hair net. The bitch I assume is the shift manager refused to yake one customers order, telling him to wait. Guess she didn't like his appearance. Will not be back to this Jersey Mike's. read more

I sure liked the Kahuna Cheesesteak, it was a pleasant surprise. Love the jalapenos. Awesome sandwich! The Giant sizes are huge, 15" (regular "Big" size is half that), and more than enough for even a big eater. I can pack it away with gusto but I can't eat it all in one sitting like I can at other places. Good enough to split with a friend or eat later.
