Not to be dramatic but... Sasquatch Subs has no business being this good. Every time we go, it's the same story: stacked sandwiches, fresh ingredients, and zero shortcuts. You can taste the difference. Family-owned, community-loved, and absolutely worth the stop every single time. Safe to say we're regulars for a reason. For the people leaving poor reviews on prices and wait times... this is a family owned business so if you're looking for "quick" food and a cheap price tag then you should probably pack it up and go back to Seattle where you can order from a chain restaurant. Just too many negative experiences with the main guy who works at this place. Incredibly rude multiple times. I didn't rate before because I assumed he was having a bad day, but it's been too many times. He should know he doesn't have the disposition to talk to people and let others do that for him. Absolutely hated this place. Took 30 minutes for TWO sandwiches. Everything aside from basic subs are $18 after tax and everything else has a deceptive up charge. Want brisket on your $16 ban-mi (one of the default choices), that's $4 extra! Want spicy pickles? Fifty cents! Or 3 pieces of Lefse bread? Ten dollars. By the time they ring up your ban-mi, it comes out to like $22. Stop giving greedy businesses money. It's literally just an average sandwich. read more

Good big sandwiches. I like to compare all sandwiches to subway as a base. "Was this better than subway? Americas least acceptable sandwich." Yes. Was it cheaper. No, but that's fine, it's of a higher quality and only a little more expensive. We had the turkey club and the Beef Philly. I don't know what a good Philly is. But this was pretty cheese tasting. Hot and good. The turkey was great. Took a little while since I had a hot sandwich but worth the wait. read more

I've heard the hype, and I'm here to tell you it's all true. The highly anticipated opening of a new sandwich shop in town proved to be worth the wait. Friendly staff, quick service and delicious food. I tried the Bacon Chicken Ranch, a hot sub with the ingredients mentioned plus provolone cheese, on a gluten free bun. Tasty, seasoned chicken with plenty of bacon and sauce. I was impressed with the bun, it was too good to be gluten free, and from a local bakery in Mount Vernon. Also tried a side of the cole slaw, very yummy. The shop is located in the back of Cedarhome Market, so their extra items are limited. You can add chips, but no drinks. You'll have to buy that separately in the store portion, along with lots of other goodies. There are a few parking spots that do fill up quickly, but they open up just as fast. read more

I'm really sorry but I'm not sure what the hype about this place is. The sandwiches are good but they aren't anything special for the hefty price tag. My husband and I both liked our sandwiches but agreed they were pretty skimpy for the $14 price tag. I originally asked for the DT Signature Sub but with regular mustard instead of honey mustard. I was instead told I could just get Turkey Club and add avocado. Turns out I was charged an extra $1 to add avocado. I would've rather just gone without mustard all together than be charged extra (assuming the DT would be $12.99 like the rest of the cold subs). My husband got the French Dip and while he said it was ok, it was seriously lacking in meat. I also wasn't expecting it to be on Franz roll when the menu states subs are served on a "fresh" roll. Service wasn't quick but it was lunch time so they were busy, that was understandable. The woman who took our order and man who gave us our food, who I'm assuming were the owners, were both very nice. The area to wait in is small and there are no tables so they're strictly to-go only. Found these guys at the Bite of Stanwood/Camano. Also found out they are just around the corner, so went to check out what else they served. We had the Cubano with the spicy pickles and the Bon Mi with pork belly. Both sandwiches were sooooo tasty! I think the Cubano weighed 3 lbs! The owners are so friendly and we are ecstatic to have such tasty sandwiches so close to home! We were driving to Mt. Vernon to get a semi decent Bon Mi. Not anymore! My husband and I drove from Edmonds to Stanwood today to give this place a try and it did not disappoint!!! I would drive back up there anytime for the buffalo chicken and the bacon Swiss grilled cheese. They both were hot subs and they were so tasty. I have been a regular at Sasquatch subs since they opened. The food is absolutely delicious, wholesome, and screams of the passion and love the owners put into it. We have tried hot pastrami, buffalo chicken, Rueben, Philly cheesesteak, and their latest French Dip. While the buffalo chicken is my absolute all time favorite, the French dip is a close second. Also, pro tip: Adding pepperoncinis to any sub uplifts the flavors so much! I also love the ease of ordering online, where the clover page is easy to navigate and works well without the app as well.
