Good big sandwiches. I like to compare all sandwiches to subway as a base. "Was this better than subway? Americas least acceptable sandwich." Yes. Was it cheaper. No, but that's fine, it's of a higher quality and only a little more expensive. We had the turkey club and the Beef Philly. I don't know what a good Philly is. But this was pretty cheese tasting. Hot and good. The turkey was great. Took a little while since I had a hot sandwich but worth the wait.

WOW! Great hot subs . Cooked right there while you wait. Hot pastrami yum...boyfriend had mushroom Swiss and pulled pork. DITTO. Then take the kids to church park, 2mins away and enjoy. (Park has baseball diamond, basketball court and kids playground).

I've heard the hype, and I'm here to tell you it's all true. The highly anticipated opening of a new sandwich shop in town proved to be worth the wait. Friendly staff, quick service and delicious food. I tried the Bacon Chicken Ranch, a hot sub with the ingredients mentioned plus provolone cheese, on a gluten free bun. Tasty, seasoned chicken with plenty of bacon and sauce. I was impressed with the bun, it was too good to be gluten free, and from a local bakery in Mount Vernon. Also tried a side of the cole slaw, very yummy. The shop is located in the back of Cedarhome Market, so their extra items are limited. You can add chips, but no drinks. You'll have to buy that separately in the store portion, along with lots of other goodies. There are a few parking spots that do fill up quickly, but they open up just as fast.

The short: Pastrami sandwich A+ Sauce on the pastrami sandwich has a little horseradish hit, super tasty Cheese and Sliced pickles on it, awesome Bread - Toasted nicely, and when wrapped to take to-go, it gets warmed even more by the hot pastrami inside, wonderful. Convenience - I will pay a premium for something made local and close by, these sandwich's are priced very appropriately for the value.

I'm really sorry but I'm not sure what the hype about this place is. The sandwiches are good but they aren't anything special for the hefty price tag. My husband and I both liked our sandwiches but agreed they were pretty skimpy for the $14 price tag. I originally asked for the DT Signature Sub but with regular mustard instead of honey mustard. I was instead told I could just get Turkey Club and add avocado. Turns out I was charged an extra $1 to add avocado. I would've rather just gone without mustard all together than be charged extra (assuming the DT would be $12.99 like the rest of the cold subs). My husband got the French Dip and while he said it was ok, it was seriously lacking in meat. I also wasn't expecting it to be on Franz roll when the menu states subs are served on a "fresh" roll. Service wasn't quick but it was lunch time so they were busy, that was understandable. The woman who took our order and man who gave us our food, who I'm assuming were the owners, were both very nice. The area to wait in is small and there are no tables so they're strictly to-go only. Also wanted to note that there's no public restroom.

Food is great and so is the service. The owner is the order taker, cook, and cashier and he does all of that with a smile on his face.

They actually do an ok job sometimes (don't get the croissants though. Raw in the middle). It's just that the service can be so distracted it feels like you're interrupting them when you go to the counter to order. And your food might show up all at once, or more likely whenever they get around to it. They may or may not forget your order while gossiping or arguing. They might over steam the milk in your latte. The soup might not show up with your sandwich. Your mocha might not be stirred, leaving all the chocolate in the bottom. And so on. But if you listen closely you'll know who is dating who and what they think of having to work shifts they don't want... Maturity, focus and attentive management would turn this cute concept into a shop to patronize. As it stands, we avoid it because we just don't need the frustration. There's nothing here that isn't being done better elsewhere. Nice idea, gen-z execution. Not recommended at this time.

A pretty standard Teriyaki place…read more The portion sizes were large with lots of chicken and a good quantity of rice, which was the strength of this restaurant. The chicken was tender with pretty standard flavor, but had a little more much sauce than I like (as is common with Teriyaki restaurants). I did not find the salad appealing - iceberg lettuce with an Asian sesame dressing -- pretty nondescript and not great. The California roll was ok, a nice appetizer to go with the teriyaki. They had a few kinds of sushi and a variety of other Asian food offerings, meaning a fair amount of choice. The restaurant does a very busy takeout business, as well as having several tables occupied inside. It is clear that it is a local favorite. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the food came out quicker than promised. FYI: parking can be difficult on Friday or Saturday night ... more people want to go than there are spaces available.

It was weirdly sweet and super drippy. It looked and tasted more like japchae with onions instead of noodles. It spilled on my jeans as I pulled it out of the bag. My friends had other bentos that they enjoyed, and I liked the sides in the bento. Just don't get the bulgogi. May I give a suggestion? We stood there watching the counter help open the same boxes over and over because they couldn't remember what was in them. I wanted to scream "WRITE IT ON TOP!!!!" I estimate 50% of the counter worker's time went into reopening and reorganizing the boxes, leading to orders hanging out there longer than necessary and wasting time. I would happily donate a sharpie.
