I realize that after reading the ingredients out loud and obviously missed the word onion. Technically I've been legally blind since I was younger than them, and even with my contacts occasionally I struggle to successfully inform myself, I would have definitely said to please hold off on the onions as well...So after paying $17 for a cookie a soda and an onion sandwich, I was pretty bummed. I politely asked the girls if they would please remake the sandwich for me... and the response I got was dumbfounding. The manager proceeded to tell me that they don't give out free sandwiches and that if I wanted a sandwich without onions from them, I need to order another one because that sandwich comes with onions. I said OK. I understand that I'm not sure how I missed that on the ingredients but I would really really appreciate if you could please remake the sandwich for me onions are a sincere deal breaker for me. She goes well we can't just waste food like that. Our store hasn't been doing very good financially and that's just a waste of food so no if you were allergic to the onions maybe but since you're not l- if you want another sandwich, you can buy one. I said wow really you're really not gonna make me a new one? it really that big of a deal, I'd be really grateful like I said it was an accident. I didn't see onions on there, which I repeated . This is about time. Pinky chimed in and said hey don't you get it? We're not gonna give you free food. I said I'm not asking for free food and she goes well. That's what it is if we were to give you a sandwich that would be free food so yeah you are asking for free food and argued with me. I said you know what, that's a shame because if your manager was here, I highly doubt they would've treated this situation like this, which at that point the brain reminded me that she was in fact, the esteemed manager of the facility and reiterated again she was not going to give me free food. I said it doesn't have to be free food you could give my sandwich that I just paid $17 for it to a homeless person and remake my sandwich with cheese meat and bread which is all I wanted any case now I'm just ranting because I'm upset and two wrongs don't make it right I told the manager she needs to rethink her managerial skills because they're lacking and for whoever is the franchise the owner, I would check your sandwich artist/sales team and maybe rethink their customer service skills because honestly the excessive onions isn't why I will not be returning, it was your extremely kind, respectful, understanding staff that pretty much treated me like I was a transient junkie from the bus stop outside-it's not cool to gang up on your only customer in the store who just paid for an onion sandwich I won't be returning to this one and I hope those two girls realize that in this world you don't get very far ganging up on people acting as if I was doing something wrong like demanding free food hopefully they go to college and do something where they don't have to deal with the public. Because if they had worked for me when I was general manager I would have been humiliated.
