I ordered a simple sandwich. At the end of making it, the guy left it on the counter when two different guys came in and started taking and making their orders. ?? No explanation to me. There appeared to be no reason to jump them in line like they were waiting for something for my sandwich or something like that... Then he was short with me asking what toppings in a phrase I had not encountered - Mike's way. I said I was just trying to figure out why he left my sandwich to start making others. The third customer after me even asked if I was being helped and I pointed out my sandwich on the counter half open and no explanation. I reminded him of my sandwich that it came with bacon and he said yeah I at that at the end. To me we were at the end and I thought he was so rude. No apologies. Service was not good , aside from food prep, because when walked in Analee (I believe that was her name) was sweeping creating dust and germs to fly all over the place and more importantly towards us. I stood up while dinning and opened the front door to let some air in, she questioned what I was doing - I explained to her that there was a lot of dust in the dining area, while we were trying to eat . The Philly Steak I ordered, was served fast and hot. It was not that bad. The cheese and onions made the Philly. The meat itself was ok. The establishment was clean. Now the staff seemed unhappy. Especially the young curly haired lady taking the order. I think she was annoyed about my switching from Chicken Philly to Steak. She had to rewrite it. Also, I heard someone ask for a certain bread. I asked the young lady, if there were bread options. She said the different types they had, but if I don't say anything. It will be white bread. I let her know I don't come that often. The selection is still very limited- mostly cold white bread with an assortment of Italian style cheese (provolone) and cured meats (ham, bologna, pepperoni) and some turkey, chicken, roast beef. Also pay attention to the salt, sugar, and calorie count on these sandwiches. A regular sub will set you back on average 900-1,000 calories!! This is not a healthy fast food alternative. I went today Saturday May 10th, 2025. Location was busy and it took over 45 minutes to get some sandwiches...not the problem. When they forgot one of my sandwiches that I already paid for I let the staff making them know. Another 5 minutes went by as watched two employees bicker over the half made sandwiches I asked if I could please have the one I was waiting for ( it was made just sitting there) and your employee snapped asking if I could please be patient and then continued to argue w me. I generally love Jersey Mikes and I've been going to this location on an almost weekly basis for 5 years. However, in the last 3-4 months, the bread quality at this location has declined steeply. A majority of the sandwiches that I've gotten have been served on stale or burnt bread (I can't tell if it's just old or burned). I usually order around 5-6pm from the App. Maybe it's just the timing? Regardless, I just bought a #8 today and I couldn't even finish it, the bread was so terribly rough and distasteful. First of all, we tip every single time in good faith that the basic stuff was done right. This is not the first time where I order my sandwich by number based on their menu and they don't give me the basic ingredients. A #8 comes with "applewood smoked bacon". It's not optional. If I get home and people are disappointed there is no bacon, I'll let it slide the first time, even the second time. But enough is enough. I paid $10 for a few thin slices of Turkey and lettuce? My favorite Jersey Mikes location due to the friendly staff and extra delicious sandos they're creating. It's usually busy when I go at lunchtime on Fridays, but the staff maintain a great attitude with the customers. You're always greeted when you walk in. The staff work really well together and keep the line moving - it's a well oiled machine. The positive vibes start at the the top with the Manager, Brandon who is very personable and treats you like a buddy. He makes great sandwiches and works quickly. Julia is usually there on Fridays also makes a top tier sandwich that would make Jersey Mike very proud. So- big fan of the brand, our family is very loyal to Jersey Mike's over other sub shop. Good is great including my order today. So why the 1 star? Honestly- just one, very important thing - the rotten attitude of the staff. I place my order online and received and email stating my order would be ready at 2:53. I walked in at 2:55 and there were 5 or 6 employees and no customers in the store. One employee was sweeping, others seemed to be just be standing around or cleaning... nothing out of the ordinary. I asked about my order and was pointed to another employee who looked surprised as though she didn't expect me. She then looked at the ticket holder on the counter and realized my order hadn't been made. She and a couple of other then proceeded to quickly make my sandwich Honestly, it was a bit annoying that my order wasn't ready according to the order confirmation but not the end of the world. I asked one of the employees how come my order was t ready as confirmed. He replied "we are short staffed"... to which I replied "there 6 or 7 employees here". Another employee then went on to get very snippy telling me they have to take care of people in the store first. Look - the following answers would have been perfectly fine with me, instead of the BS excuses I got: - we missed your order - we forgot your order and will get it right out - we had to restock real quick and got backed up I was honestly just curious if I made a mistake when placing my order and was hopeful they would just own the fact that my order slipped through the cracks. Again, not the end of the world. However the attitude and excuses and telling me I was rude and doing the "have a wonderful day sir" as I walked out was really unnecessary. I'm a total fan of Jersey Mike's especially since they are very involved in the community and philanthropy to various local organizations. We stopped at this location because it was the closest. This location is near the Lowes and in the same strip mall as several other eateries (i.e. Panera Bread, Noodles & More) and the gas station/ car wash. We walked in and we were welcomed. We had an American Red Cross donation card which was accepted and we chose the regular sized Italian and Supreme cold sandwiches. These sandwiches packed a punch. The regulars are pretty much a footlong and we were only able to finish half. We got the combo to include a soft drink and chips for a couple dollars more. Self serve fountain soda station. Avoided the cookies since they are like crack, but the chocolate chip and the peanut butter cookies are bomb. No check in offer here since the ones down south normally get a free cookie. BOO! The quality is fine, I have no issue with that, just getting the order correct the first time without me having to always double check it. Walk-in service - It is fine, they have a good group of team members. Loyalty program - Did you know that you have to ask to use your points? They will not tell you that you have a free sandwich on the books? I thought that was completely ridiculous. We placed an online order for pick up around 1:30 for lunch. Their site makes it very easy to place an order. You select what kind of sub you want (cold subs, hot subs, wraps, combos etc) then you select what you want in it, and that's it! Each sub is prepared Mikes way which is onions, lettuce, tomatoes, vinegar, oil and spices but you can always remove or add items as you like. We paid online and picked up the order within 10-15 minutes. A friend picked up for us; he said that it was pretty busy at the time but because we placed our order online, our sandwiches were ready to go so he was out of there in no time! I ordered their regular #7 Turkey Breast and provolone sub, Mikes way and added mayo, mustard and peppercinis. They say that the regular size feeds 2 for $8.50 but the sub was soo good that I didn't want to stop eating! Their price is about right for the quality of sub you expect to get here. Fresh bread (I just found out they make their own bread daily) and hefty portion of fresh sliced turkey breast. Very satisfying! The scene at this Jersey Mikes location tonight is frenetic. The girl behind the counter is talking a mile a minute and seriously scaring me with how fast she is slicing the meat and not even looking at what she is doing. Food is flying everywhere, she is basically screaming at customers. One of the other guys on the line finds this acceptable but the other poor kid on the grill looks like he is going to quit any minute. If I had the managers number, I would call and talk to him about safety training. My kids are just this age and this looks super dangerous. read more
