i came here with my dad about two months ago. We got one basket of nuggets to share. They were extremely tiny and overdone. The only reason I am writing this review is because the chicken bites at the habit grill are much better. I LOVE Chick-fil-A but this is the THIRD TIME there has been something wrong with my order at this location. This time I ordered a cobb salad and there was no chicken! I noticed a tag on the lid that says, "CobSld Base". I take that to mean the salads are prepared in advance and kept refrigerated, then when one is ordered, they add the fresh chicken, but they forgot that step. I really appreciate how well they train their employees. My daughter and I always feel welcome when we come to buy chicken. I could get chicken at any Chick-fil-A, but their friendly and lovely staff make us want to come back. The work environment is very polite and nice.I hope my 3-year-old daughter grows up in a place like this. The restaurant is very clean and beautiful. Recently came here again for breakfast They seemed to not handle how "busy" they were very well. Maybe the morning shift was low on staff. I waited maybe 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches. Place is clean, except for a few seconds during kids eat free, if you see a mess know they will clean it any second now. My only beef is with the water temp in bathroom. It gets sooooo hot. Live this location. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and upbeat, even in the rain, cold and extreme heat. If they're miserable, they hide it real well. Went there for breakfast this morning. Got a diet frosted lemonade & the chicken minis. When I got to the window, I asked the girl, didn't get her name, at the window if I could get a single nugget for my cat. Without hesitation, she went and asked the cooks for a nugget for my cat. She came back with it in a little box. She so made my day doing that. A tumor was just found in my fur baby's mouth and he's not eating like he used to, but he sure loves warm chicken. When I got home, I cut the breading off and shredded it up for him. Ok, I think I have been to a Chick-fil-A since my last review here on College. It maybe twice more only, but somewhere else. Today was Grandparent's Day at the school and we were lucky to get the kids for the afternoon. The grandkids just had to have Chick-fil-A. Us adults on the other hand, basically reeled at the idea once we agreed to entertain them. We were not a fan, and guess what; wee are still not a fan. Chicken is fine . . . if you are into fried chicken strips, nuggets or breasts. Chicken is tender but very basic taste. The chicken NEEDS sauce no matter how you eat it. I tried each sauce offered. The only sauce that I found acceptable was the buffalo. The ranch is wrong and all of the others seem to reach for someone else's tastebuds. Even the ketchup didn't make the waffle fries any better. I'm glad they offered Texas Pete's to mix in with the ketchup and help make the fries go down. Kids screaming everywhere just behind my head. People, control the screaming. Believe it or not , it was my first time at Chick-fil-A. Saturday evening , it was not busy inside, but with a long line of cars to order thru the window. I was greeted on entrance and went to order right away to go. One chick sandwich was with a coupon, another chick sandwich and large fries I paid for (with fries, I didn't order no salt, my mistake, they were too salty for my taste). On a side note - at any fast food places all fries should come out with no salt, then customer can put salt to his or her taste! Also 10 cents charged for a bag (next time I will bring a bag with myself) and I asked, what sauce should I take - two suggestions- chick -fil-A and buffalo (too spicy). Sandwich was nothing special - just chicken (and a very skimpy one) on a bun? Actually sauce helped, I saw some people commenting that chicken nuggets got more meat, than chicken sandwich. Maybe next time, with no salt fries. One more thing - the chicken breast is cooked in a peanut oil, I don't have allergy to peanuts, but what about people who do? read more

I have always had such positive experiences at this location, that it is disappointing that I am writing and submitting my first negative one. I recently completed a survey about a good visit I experienced here, where a free sandwich coupon was indicated would be forthcoming. It has been three days now, and no coupon is in my email's Inbox. I have never been to a Chick a fil before and have been wanting to try it with a free sandwich coupon in the mail. The girl that took my order was very nice and didn't try to upsell me anything. The young manager may need just a bit of talking to. He was entertaining. On the positive side, it was very refreshing to see a manager so involved and organized. He was ordering them around like a military machine. He was very efficient and genuinely cared about getting his product out on time. He was really barking orders at them. This is how some kitchens are run, I get it, but it was in front of the guests. If he had thrown in some " good job" and " I appreciate it's" I would have felt better. Place mobile order for pick up food and our order was not honored because we were not "in person" to confirm our order which defeats the whole purpose of mobile ordering. When we arrived the staff simply brushed us off and advices us to go online and voice our complaint. They offered no alternative no solution. Service was fast and friendly on a Saturday night. Lots of people came through the drive in line while droves of customers were in the restaurant. We ended up ordering 6 chicken sandwiches---both regular and spicy--and one serving of chicken nuggets. (By the way, the chicken nuggets have more meat than the chicken in the sandwich.) Restaurant has an area for a whole bunch of different sauces in little cute square/rectangular containers. You can help yourself. Chick fil a service is always top notch, great staff, friendly, helpful. This location and the others that I have been to. The Chicken in their meals / sandwiches is pretty tasty, juicy, hearty and when you pair it with the myriad of sauces that they offer it gets even better. Their Waffle Fries are delicious. They are large cuts and hold up well if you don't eat them right away. They also pair well with the sauces. This location and the san marcos location are kind of a hassle to get in and out of, the parking situation, etc. As long as you have time to deal with the traffic/parking then stop in and try it out. They have a breakfast menu and I think those items are sold until 10 or 1030, then the other menu with salads, sandwiches, and other items is available. They have a few small desserts like a cookie and a brownie. They seem to have raises their prices recently, but just as expensive as other competitors. If you are tired of burgers and fries, give it a try. read more

Great service great tasting food. Came in with the whole family since my daughter just got her permit she drove and paid.

Last time they put cheese when asked not to, this time they remembered to not do cheese but rushed me out of the line and didn't give me my water cup. Obviously they don't care about your ticket. Just tryna push people along, not to add that my drive thru attendant looked and acted like she hates her job. Come on, hire genuine people who care, definitely the last time I'm coming here. They don't care about you. Just your money. Save it and spend it elsewhere ; kfc and canes have better chicken anyway. For clarification, this is the only two times I've ever gone here, the visits were months apart, and I'm a regular doordasher who understands restaurant culture, especially fast food, been driving for doordash for over 6 years, all up and down Southern California ever since the company was founded. I've been here multiple times for dash orders and I knew from those dasher visits that this store wasn't like most chick fil a. That's why I always avoided it, sad that the only two times I tried it I was disappointed. Food was meh too. Service; terrible. Went there 9-5-25 ordered the chicken soup i couldn't believe how good it was. They shred the chicken so every bite has chicken in it. (it needed more carrots) but it was super good. Better than Panera chicken soup and cheeper. Also ordered 8 nuggets & side salad, they were good also. So if you're looking for a great soup for $5.00 go there first. They were busy but no waiting inside. The help was really efficient the whole place was running smoothly. It was very clean considering how busy they were. I'm a huge fan of Chickfila but hands down this is the best location I've ever been to. I went in between breakfast and lunch with my husband and everything was freshly made. They have their sauces in the lobby so you can have as many as you want. While we were eating they brought fresh flowers to the table and even came up to us to ask for a refill. 10/10 for the service in this restaurant. It was very clean and organized as well.
