They were extra nice and friendly when I picked it up and it was so crisp, fresh and delicious. I ordered fountain drinks and a different person at the counter made sure I could find the lids and everything I needed. Fountain drinks were super crisp and fresh too with good ice. Must have been greeted 100 times. A+ customer service. I got more positive interaction at this place than a month worth of other eateries. Ordered the regular chipotle cheesesteak. We had no issues with stopping at Jersey Mike's Sub and taking our dinner back to the vacation resort. After a whole afternoon of shopping from one store to another at the Calsbad Premium Outlet Mall, we had several dining choices to make. The one that made the best choice from the other restaurants was Jersey Mike's Sub. We all have had their great subs before, and the menu board has enough selections for everyone. Ham sandwiches are a favorite, and so are cold cuts . My best was the Tuna Salad on a long parmesan crusted roll with tomatoes and shredded lettuce. All sandwiches were made by young chefs who were attentive to making these super special. The way it was wrapped and the package was a good indicator that he cared. Add several bags of chips, and we were ready to roll. Oh my, what a wonderful set of sandwiches and not a peep of displeasure. It was all perfect. This Jersey Mike's is conveniently located on the southern tip of the Carlsbad Outlet, near the Tesla Chargers. They are very quick at this location and seem to have the food prep down. Nice. We were shopping and decided to grab a sub. Today we ordered the Regular #3 (Han & Cheese) and my favorite #13 Italian. Both were generous with their meat slices and tasted good. We have always been fond of the quality of Jersey Mike's deli meats and believe them to be a step above the rest. Today (Saturday 1/11/25) around 1:40pm. The girl put her gloves on to start making sandwiches when her family came in and started a whole conversation while skipping me in line! Totally skipped me and started making her family's sandwich. I told the lady that was at the register that I'll take a #10. The lady told her that she totally skipped me. No apologies! Nothing! Walked in at 8:15pm tonight to get a fast dinner. I the staff looked at me as if he was annoyed and didn't even address me. I asked if they were open and then he said yes. I was so uncomfortable that I didn't realize he never asked what bread until the was done, so he made me another one. He threw out and wasted the first sandwich & created such a negative experience that I wouldn't want to go back in and experience that ever again. If I were the business owner I would at a minimum write a warning because that behavior is completely inappropriate & is costing the business in various ways. I know people have bad days but you cannot treat people like they're an inconvenience. read more

First time trying Jersey Mike's and it didn't disappoint! I got "The Original Italian" sub, and it was really good. You could tell that the bread and ingredients were really fresh. We ate outside at their patio area. The seating area is completely shaded, and pretty clean. It is a great place to have lunch while you're at the Carlsbad outlets. read more

Walked in as one of two customers in store today at 11am, waited a few minutes before they took my order because one employee wiped everything down while the other stood there. Then after taking my order, instead of making my sandwich told me to wait longer because they had online orders and then they can get to me. Today in Jersey Mikes, I was met with extremely poor customer service. Not only were we were not greeted when we walked in, it took three employees over five minutes to acknowledge that there were customers in the store. I had a large order of five sandwiches and before I could finish ordering them all, the employees were prioritizing mobile orders and making those instead of completing my order. The male employee working on our sandwiches should have been wearing a hair net, as his hair was long, curly, uncontrolled, and very unhygienic. The Jersey Mike's uniform guideline says: "Hair must be pulled back and concealed by the hat or visor. No hair may be hanging over face, forehead, or ears". He did not follow these guidelines whatsoever as his hair was poorly contained and sloppily strewn around in front of his eyes and ears. Compared to my experiences in other Jersey Mikes', the food was prepared in an outrageously leisure manner, completely inconsistent with the amount of customers now lining up behind me. The one positive I will include was the young woman working the cash register, although she was actively being trained, she was kind, conversational, and attempted to save my horrible experience. It upsets me to say I will NOT be returning to this location, and hope for the expectations that has been set by other locations to continue to impress me. read more

By far the worst and most over priced sandwich I've ever had. It was 90% onions and bell peppers that were all mixed in and impossible to pick out with barely any cheese or chicken. I tried to eat a couple of bite because I hate wasting food but couldn't do it. I told them I was surprised how many onions and peppers were in it and they said they can make it more plain if you ask. Didn't give me a discount or offer to make something better. Tall blonde kid wears a silver rope chain, could absolutely care less about his job. Unfortunately for him i used to manage a Jersey mikes for five years. He kept his gloves on while on the phone, didn't change them and went right to the slicer. He changed them when i asked him to which was nice. But he already sliced out two other sandwiches. He then sliced out these paper thin cheeses, again after five years i still remember the weights. 2 oz for five pieces of cheese. And a little over half of the turkey i was supposed to get. Which should've been 4.75 in five slices. I got seven and could tell it was still short. His sprinkle was horrible. One pile of onions in the middle, a big handful of lettuce and machine gun juice.
