We had a coupon so my gal wanted to treat me to a hamburger. I've already had a bad hamburger in Sonora Habit burger but since she wanted to go I kept my mouth shut. I order a regular burger done medium because the last one I had was overcooked. When I got the burger it was well well done again. But even worse the bun was burnt! It made the sandwich taste like charcoal. I sat there and ate it but I really wanted to complain. But she took me there so I was cool. But the burger was not good. Dry and burnt bread. My preference for a fast food chain burger spot! It gets busy so I prefer to order online and pick up. sometimes there are deals when you sign up for their e-mails or free reward program. 10 of my family members came in for dinner, it was a little busy at dinner time which had me completely shocked that I was able to mobile order for our family of 6 and still get all our food hot and fresh within 10 minutes. My sister's family's food arrive shortly after. The bathrooms and dining room could use a little cleaning, but all in all it was a nice store and quick service. What has happened to your teriyaki chicken sandwich? I did not taste the chicken. My previous orders would have a whole chicken breast but this order had only half of a breast. The grilled onions had no flavor and there was lots of lettuce and bread. I was so disappointed because this sandwich was not great! I've ordered to-go twice now within the past month from this location and both times they have made my order wrong. So frustrating and will avoid this location for sure. I visited this location with my husband today at approximately 2:20 pm. We each order a burger and side. Two orders that were placed after us were received before us. By this time it was already 10 minutes past the pick up time. My husband asked how much longer, the manager, Antonia, was very rude and kept saying "a bit longer", never saying they were behind. There was one worker doing nothing the entire time. We asked for a refund, told we had to call a number, and then we could get our money. This particular franchise has really gone downhill for the last 2 years since your cook Matt left. Matt was awesome and he made the most incredible food. He took pride in crafting it. The people who cook now get mad if you walk in 40 minutes before closing because they have started to put away their food supplies early. The way they pay you back is to make your food as lackluster as possible. On this occasion I ordered a barbecue chicken salad.  In it, I only had one or two miniature pieces of onion, huge chunks of chicken because they don't want to take the time to cut the chicken . They say they can't do cilantro anymore, so another strike there, they don't cut up regular tomatoes anymore and only toss whole grape tomatoes on which squirt and slide everywhere when you try stab them with your fork. They need to be cut...and why grape tomatoes? These were on the verge of going bad and tasted as like it. I was only given a tiny bit of barbecue sauce when it is supposed to be double that amount and 2 miniature pieces of Bacon the size of a pencil head eraser. Insane.  No pride in having a good job...no pride being a cook and having people know you made THAT?  It's been bad for 2 years, but especially bad for about 9 months and we have hit our limit. Whoever works on the weekends and makes the food is horrible at it and has a bad attitude. I have not ordered from The Habit Burger Grill until one year later since November of 2020. I remember their Char Burgers use to taste really good that was one year ago. These Food Photos are deceiving. There always should be a review to explain everything that has happened with our experience at a restaurant or any business. Their other sandwiches were delicious in 2020. Maybe it's a bad day. I will give this place another chance. I placed my online order on the Door Dash.com website at 11:00 a. m. today. My (5 items) order is as follows: one order of the BBQ Char Burger with American Cheese. The price is $8.36. One order half of the Sweet Potato Fries and half of the Regular French Fries. This order includes the Ranch Dipping Sauce and 3 Ketchup Packets at no charge. The price is $4.24. I ordered the one regular size Sprite Soft Drink. The price is $2.99. For my dessert was the one order of the Regular Size Mocha Shake with the whipped cream topping. The price is $5.61. My subtotal came up to $21.20. I did NOT know the cost of the Delivery Service Charge for the Habit Burger Grill because when I was browsing this restaurant's website, their delivery service charge was not listed. I did not know this fee until I placed my order on my Door Dash.com Account today. This delivery fee is overpriced. The Delivery fee is $7.99 about $8.00. I will not pay this amount again. The sales tax is $1.75. The service fee is $3.18. The Dasher tip for Reginald is $5.50. I consider that tip I selected as a good tip. My total cost for my bill is $39.62. My bill was charged to my visa credit card account this afternoon. I received my (5 Items order) from Reginald this Door Dash driver at 12:20 p. m. Reginald works as a Dasher driver. I saw Reginald park his car in my driveway. He drives a Silver SUV. Reginald got my (5 items order) out of the back of his Silver SUV, then I saw him drop off (one brown package and this one carrier box that had (one Mocha Shake) and the other beverage was the (one Sprite Soft Drink). He does not deserve a $5.50 tip. Reginald gave me really (poor customer service) today. When I opened up my front door. He is supposed to drop off my food order in front of my door. Reginald did not do that. Reginald dropped off my food order bag really far away on the walkway really close by my driveway with the one Mocha Shake and the one Sprite Soft Drink. Not one Dasher or Grubhub driver has done that to me. There were also 2 straws that was missing for the one Mocha Shake and the one Sprite Soft Drink. That was the only (missing thing) in my order. I also received really (Poor Customer Service) from Reginald. He was not wearing a mask. Reginald looked at me then ignored me. It's not The Habit Burger Grill Restaurant's fault, it is the fault of this Door Dash Delivery Company. Reginald's really (poor customer service) is a bad reflection off of their company. This is the (first time) I have received really poor customer service from Door Dash. Then I carried the one Habit Burger Grill Bag and the one carrier box inside my house. I unpacked the one BBQ Charburger with the American Cheese and the French Fries. I also unwrapped the one BBQ Charburger with the one slice of the American Cheese, bacon bits, diced onions, and the sweet BBQ sauce. I touched the sesame seed bun, this top bun was really (dry and hard). I reheated this BBQ Charburger with the American Cheese on it for just one minute to warm up this Char burger. I put it on a large plate to get ready to eat it. Then I bit into this one BBQ Charburger with the melted American Cheese in it. I could only eat 4 bites of it, then I had to STOP eating this burger. I looked inside and took off the top bun. This BBQ Char Burger with this melted American Cheese, the edges of this one burger were all blackened and the ground beef burger itself was very dry and not juicy at all. The bacon bits were also dry and hard. This Ground Beef Burger was overcooked on their grill. I like my burger to be medium with the meat that still has a pink color inside. I don't like my burger to be well done. My rating for the BBQ Char Burger with the American Cheese is (poor 2 stars - it could have tasted better). The half Sweet Potato Fries and the half Regular Size French Fries with the Ranch Dip and Ketchup. My Rating is (5 Stars - Excellent Taste). The one Mocha Shake with the whipped cream topping it was very thick and had a really delicious Mocha flavor ice cream shake. It was so good! My Rating is (5 Stars - Excellent Taste.). The Regular Size Sprite Soft Drink. Rating (5 Stars, Excellent. My total Rating is (4 Stars - Good). This one order was not very good. There were other Sandwiches I had ordered in November of 2020 that tasted really delicious. Maybe they need to get a new cook or it's just a bad day today. Not sure if anybody else has experienced this but the past couple of times I've ordered take out the bottom bun is always soggy. I pick up on time and it's only a couple minutes to the house. The bottom of the bag is greasy on top of the bun being soggy. It's a good tasting burger but think I'll be trying somewhere else next time. read more

The three of us went to the Habit for the first time, just yesterday. Food was delicious as expected. We left the premises, were gone for maybe one half hour, and my wife realized that she had left her purse hanging on an outside chair! We hastily returned, inquired at the counter, and the purse was there! This story might have ended badly, save for the honesty and sweetness of the employees. Thank you!!!!! I wanted to to a curbside pick up as it was 8:30 pm and I'd just worked a long shift and was tired. I had a coupon I'd gotten in my email and was able to access it through the app as well. Unfortunately, there was some sort of glitch in the app because I couldn't get it to take the coupon. It was super frustrating that I had to go to the counter to order so in could use the coupon, which was expiring that day. Fortunately, Raquel was working that night and was able to make this an extraordinarily pleasant visit! She was able to give me the discount, and when we found a mistake on my order, she immediately remedied the problem and even gave me a milkshake white I waited. She was so friendly and patient. I live in Vista and usually go to that location, but service and food are consistently mediocre. The managers are surly and unaccommodating, a very stark contrast to Raquel's good attitude! Also worth mentioning; the lettuce, tomato and onions are very fresh ... that makes a huge difference, does it not? Not in the mood for a burger? Well, they offer tuna and chicken sandwiches. I especially like that Chicken Caprese on a garlic ciabatta roll. In fact, I dbl dare you to read the Chicken Caprese description and not order it. It's a seasonal item so hurry, I recommend it. First time trying this restaurant and it was delicious. The staff was courteous and quick and the food was hot and fresh. They have a system in place that appears your food is made to order. Another plus is that they text you once your order is ready. The only issue I had was the tropical tea. Wasn't very good. It tasted watered down. Could have been the ice melted by the time I got home but other than that everything else was really good.
