Edit 9/18: So, we came back to order another round of food yesterday since we received some coupons in the mail to use, cha-ching! While they accidentally gave us a sandwich instead of a tub, when my boyfriend went down to the lobby to correct the order, they TOTALLY hooked him up and apologized for the slip up. Like, above and beyond what a chain establishment usually does. These guys are different, and I am head over heels for them because of it. Also, shout out to the tall, dark blonde order-taker gentleman at the front (perhaps MOD/team lead?) who took and corrected our order. Not only do you have the voice of a seasoned smooth radio host while taking orders, you also have a very lovely singing voice and I'm 100% all about music in our workspaces. Yes my dude. Love this jersey mikes, better than subway 1000000% and fresh not like other sub places that claim to be fresh and they aren't at all. This place is fresh and comfy. Employees are nice and helpful. We are big fans of Jersey Mike's, so we were stoked to see them coming into the neighborhood. The inside looks terrific, although we haven't been in because, as I write this, the whole country is under lockdown for Covid 19. Still, it looks terrific. We have ordered twice and it's typical JM's quality. I always get the Italian, which is delicious. My wife gets the 11 on a gluten free bun. She gets it like that because she's a celiac. This spot and location is excellent! Normally I wouldn't review a chain restraint but my experience was so great I had to. I stopped in this evening with my family and found all the workers to be extremely friendly, helpful, and patient. It was clear they had a bunch of orders happening all at once and they handled it all with grace...give fabulous service...really impressed. Also, the meat is fresh and tastes delicious! I feel really disloyal saying this, but this JM may be better than Potbelly and Jimmy Johns. Sure, it's a few dollars more expensive, but it's worth it! We've ordered twice online now for carry out. The sandwiches are always ready when we get there, the shop is always impressively clean, and the staff is always super friendly and kind. It makes me happy to see the meat for my sandwich get cut fresh, as opposed to sitting out in a tub. They also always give you reasonable portion sizes of meat and toppings, making up for the slightly higher price point than the other chain sandwich shops. Highly recommend! read more

Not a fan of subs as a whole, but this was surprisingly decent for a chain. The chipotle cheesesteak was actually good.

It was clear on Memorial Day an hour before they closed that this sandwich shop was getting slammed. However, I was incredibly impressed by the manager who was on the line helping make sandwiches, running over to bag orders and giving out free subs to guest who had been waiting too long (which wasn't long at all). The employees working were all working quickly and had nice demeanors even though I know it was stressful. As someone who has worked in hospitality for many years, I was all around impressed. Happy to have them in the neighborhood, and will be taking my business there instead of the place across the street where I've consistently received bad service. read more

Usually I love Jersey Mike's and look forward to my meals there. Today I was in a rush and waited for over 25 mins for my meal. I got home and realized I had gotten the completely wrong sandwiches. I called the store and they said come back and I'll remake it. No apology or anything. Then when I got there they didn't even have the sandwiches ready, I was late to be back to work for my lunch break. Then when I got back again I realized the order was wrong yet again. This was by far the best Jersey Mike's I have ever been in. I was a store manager for a Jersey Mike's location for almost 5 years, and I can confidently say that this was the best Jersey Mike's I have visited to date. The interior was stunning. It was incredibly clean and all of their produce was fresh. The staff was so energetic and polite. They were singing together to the songs playing on the radio while still engaging with the customers. They did everything right out of the Jersey Mike's handbook. Asked the right questions in the right order and dressed the subs to a tee. I saw them open a drawer with sauces and every sauce bottle was clean, labeled, and dated. Their cutting boards and knives were cleaned after every use. Their gloves were changed after every change of product. Over the course of the 5 minutes I was in the store, I watched each employee wash their hands thoroughly and make an effort to keep a clean and tidy workstation. I am incredibly dissapointed in MYSELF for not remembering any of their names to leave in this review, I was just awstruck by how amazing of an operation was being run. (If the employees read this, it was my super pregnant wife (blue flower dress) and I (red hair, pink shirt, black fanny pack) we got a giant #9 on Rosemary Parm, mike's way no Vin. Thank you for making me the best sandwich I've had in Chicago) Kudos to whoever this franchisee is and whoever was in charge of the hiring and training of this staff. I live in the city, almost 40 minutes away from this location, but its the only Jersey Mike's in Cook County I will now go to. Every location anywhere near downtown is abysmal in comparison. This is the first time I've been to Jersey Mike's, and upon entering I was told they only had 2 types of bread available at the time - wheat & rosemary parmesan. It would be a 20 minute wait for any other type of bread. To make up for it, the manager gave me both of my subs for free. Friendly staff, quick service, clean establishment, quality food. read more
