As someone who loves Jersey Mike's and doesnt normally write reviews, it saddens me to post this. Today I arrived to order my favorite sub (#7 on wheat). The associate prepared my sub and all was well. However, when I went to pay. The associate informed me that their internet was down so my reward points would delay in updating. Which was no problem for me. The problem came when I tried to pay for my sub. I recently celebrated my birthday and was gifted a $25 gift card for Jersey Mike's. I was excited to celebrate my sub along with a $1 off a regular sub coupon I had. But due to the internet being down, my gift card wasnt working! How does that even work? Why does the internet affect my gift card? It sucks too because the associate was trying to see what he could do to help me out. He kept calling the manager and she didn't even bother coming towards us. She just shouted from the back, "it won't work. Internet is down." This is the second time a manager at this location could care less about their guest (had a problem at this location just three weeks ago!). I left without my sub!!! Why would I pay for my sub if I had a gift card that was given for my birthday? I lost out on a sub, my coupon, and currently hungry at work as a result. This was my first time at Jersey Mikes and it was probably my best experience visiting a new place. From the start I felt so welcomed. Evelin took my order and she was EXTREMELY patient and knew the menu inside and out. Jazmin was at the register and was very polite. At some point Erin came in and I had to tell her of my great customer service and even got ANOTHER sandwich. All in all, this was a great experience and I'll definitely be back!! I live in Redondo Beach, and come all the way to this location because out of all the Jersey Mike's I ever been to (Hawthorne's location being the worse) , this location is the cleanest, all ingredients are fresh, and the customer service is the best ! Went to this jersey mikes on a Friday afternoon. Wasn't greeted when I walked in. I get it people are tired, but a "hello" would suffice. Walked up to choose a sandwich I was going to order when I noticed there was a fly on the meat cutter. I had told the guy there was a fly and he gently swat it with his glove, the glove HE WAS GOING TO PREPARE MY SANDWICH WITH. I then asked him if he would clean the area where the fly was and he seemed bothered and said "well yeah". After I looked around, the tomatoes were in some brown water, lettuce was turned brown, and the work area was very dirty. This place is real dirty and not friendly at all. The only downside is that I placed my order over the phone and at some point my Chipotle Chicken Sandwich got switched to beef. This place is the bomb.com, good sandwiches and I like their rewards program you earn free sandwiches. I went their today and the customer service was not so great. One of the sandwich makers made a rude comment in front of me because I was paying with a hundred dollar bill. The cashier said "oh! I can't expect a $ 100.00? And I said why? That's all I have and the food is $40.00. I have no change! So she looked at the manager and asked if she could take the bill and the manager said "yes"! Check it. And the chick that was making sandwiches blurted out " make sure you check it cause somebody already brought in a fake bill "!. And the cashier said I already did! I know how to check a bill! .. and she responded I'm just saying! I ain't trying to get in trouble"! So I responded you are very rude!! If you are going to talk shit ! This my second time at this location for starters. 1st visit out of wheat bread. Moving forward to second visit. Told the young man dressing the sandwich that it was my sandwich but he insisted that it was for another customer. Only to find out that she order the same 13 but hers was a reg. mine giant. So she is given the giant sandwich. They go to make my sandwich and once again no more wheat bread. So my #8 and #13 giant once again could not be made to order. Next came check out ask if I wanted to you points I had to remind him I needed 144 for giant and I'm at 139. As you can tell I know about JM since I visit them all over the city of LA proper and not proper. To top things off I get home and the #8 is missing the bacon. Just a suggestion please forecast the amount of wheat bread that your location is using so that will available for customers on request. Train employees to listen to customer and don't assume only takes a moment to verify info. to keep customer happy and coming back. And, know your reward program as to not suggest something to a customer that there not in a position to receive. For these reasons I can not score stars based on food and service just the disappointment I feel right now in reference to my visit. read more

Let me start by saying that I'm a fan of Jersey Mike's in general and have been to several locations and always enjoyed my experience. This branch however is horrible. The staff is rude, unorganized, and make a lot of mistakes, and the store isn't sufficiently stocked. I've only been there three times, but two out of the three visits have been bad. My first visit was to pick up an order I placed online ahead of time for a staff meeting. That went off without a hitch, so I tried it again. That 2nd time was a disaster, not only for me, but for the rest of the customers in line as well. The staff was completely mixed up about which sandwich was which, who ordered what, what was supposed to go on each sandwich, etc. The gal who appeared to be the manager was visibly frustrated, but did nothing to help fix the problem. My order ended up being finished late, and the simple sandwiches I ordered were incorrect. (Everything was Mike's way, without onions.) Rather than fix my order, the "manager" gave me a couple freebie coupons to make up for it. That's fine . . . everyone has an off day. I just went in today to redeem one of the coupons and had another horrible experience. There were only two other people in the store, so they weren't busy. The kid making my sandwich asked me which condiments I wanted, so I started telling him. I ended it with avocado. He said, "I wish you would have told me that in the beginning." Um, why? He said, "now I have to turn the sandwich over to add it." I'm so sorry that turning that really cumbersome mini-size sub over is so tedious for you. LOL! (I didn't actually tell him that.) Then he had a hard time wrapping it, had a hard time getting it into the bag, had a hard time ringing up the coupon. I don't know if they aren't adequately trained, or if they just completely DGAF.
