This place is garbage, I don't recommend it. The food tastes horrible, and the employees don't provide good customer service. I ordered my lunch, and three people behind me got their food before me. I ordered first, and they gave me my food last. When this place used to be Giant Grinder Deli, it was 100 times better. I regret spending the $43.00 I spent there on my husband's and my food. Rocco's is in a pretty industrial area of Carson/Rancho Domínguez. In a strip mall of sorts with ample parking. Friendly service. Good potato salad. Ordered from the "build your own" sandwich menu. Overall, sandwich was good. Bread seemed fresh, but was very soft. Needed more of an outside crust to give some more texture to the bite. Probably better when heated up with the hot sandwiches. If you drive past this place and don't stop for lunch...you're an idiot! One special gem you must try! I had the Mulberry sandwich and my husband Hell's Kitchen. We also shared a cheesecake. One of the best lunches we've shared in a long while!!! The fresh mozzarella on the Mulberry and artichoke spread oh my my chefs kiss! The balance in the Hell's Kitchen of heat to sweetness from the tomato spread works amazingly! The establishment itself was clean but sort of miserable with humid heat inside so we ate in the truck. There's plenty of seating and parking. I placed my sub to pick up so and was ready as soon as I got there. It is located in a strip mall with other businesses so I'm not too sure how parking is when it's shared with other businesses when they are open. Tried this little hidden gem today and glad we did. Tuna, Greek salad, hot Italian beef, and clam chowder. I'll pass on the chowder next time cuz it's a little thin and spice-less for my taste, but everything was delicious. The staff was super nice and accommodating, and the seating area was simple and nice (even has outdoor seating). She gave me a sample of the meatball, and it was great. I absolutely love this place and the workers, especially Maria!!! I've been coming here for almost 6 years now, and was so sad when the signal hill location closed :( but it's okay! The drive isn't too bad for me to come. I've tried the pastas, sandwiches, pizza, and the sides and they've never disappointed. The cashier acknowledged I was a first timer and explained a few items on the menu to me and pointed of them fan favorites, I appreciated that! The menu is so extensive!
