Visited here a while ago, and recently. I decided to write this review which I never do! I'm not from the area, I am actually very far out but being a person that has worked in this type of environment it's clear that management here needs to be STRONGLY reconsidered. It isn't all the employees but only some which is why i gave 3 stars. Only issue I had with the food is that sometimes the turkey is either toooo much or toooo little never just the okay amount. That isn't too bad I can always take it off but still stands. Overall I appreciate the people that required the mask when I last visited a couple of months ago. Even though customers seemed to be very rude and disrespectful. I wonder where management is when these poor kids have to get chewed out but customers. Either way the relish is really good, the veggies seem fresh, the bacon as well seems fresh, and the bread is great. If you're here i recommend getting the California Club! read more

I've been here twice and both times the subs were great, it reminds me of my favorite sub place I grew up with plus the bonus of having avocado added! It gets packed around lunch time so come before or after the rush. The second time I came was the day after Thanksgiving and it was before lunchtime (around 10:45) and not too many people were there (1 table) yet all the tables were filthy! Got a sandwich today and ordered it Mike's Way. Has the meaning of that Changed? One of the female employees, who seemed confused as hell, made my sandwich with nothing but salt,pepper, and the oils. I am pissed that she couldn't get a simple order correct. Yes there were 2 sandwiches in the order but both were to be made differently. Is that so hard to do? I am SO sad to leave this review, because I was genuinely excited to have a JM sub on gluten-free bread. I've had other GF bread subs, but I was looking forward to specifically getting one from Jersey Mike's. My sons loved their #13, and I ordered a #2 on GF bread. I was very pleased with the attention to detail, preventing contamination with new gloves and separate workspace, etc. You could tell they had been trained well, which I appreciated! Oh, but the reason for dinging two stars. If you offer gluten free, you're already a hero in my book. No one HAS to do that, and people like me who can't eat gluten are so grateful when food companies are thoughtful and add GF options. But if you're offering GF bread, it has to be bread. I took my sub to the beach, unwrapped it eagerly, and discovered that the "bread" just looked like bread. It literally crumbled apart in my hand, had absolutely no flavor, and actually ruined the taste of all the goodies packed inside. I seriously spent $10 on duck food. Dry, stale, disgusting. Please don't trick people like me! It was going to be such a treat, and ended with incredible disappointment. There are plenty of great GF bread options out there these days - please do your research, find good bread, and don't serve anyone else whatever it was I tried to eat yesterday. :( read more

I love a good sandwich! Especially an Italian sandwich from Jersey Mike's. I must admit I have only ever eaten one type of sandwich at Jersey Mike's. It's the Italian and I am not sure why I am not eating one right now. When they ask if I want it Mike's way I always answer that I like it "Moe's way" (my way) they always look at me funny. I love the spices and herbs but I got cut back on the wetness of my sandy to maintain its superstructure. I usually take this sandwich to go so I get no oil and vinegar ON the sandwich and take them to go to wet my sandwich on the go to my liking later. I really like the fact that they cut the meat for my sandwich as they prepare it right there. Unlike a subway or something the meat is NOT presliced. This location is always staffed with helpful folks, usually not super busy, clean and lots of parking nearby. Sometimes you can find a coupon in those annoying flyers in your mailbox. read more

Super friendly! I'm so happy with the three people who helped me, they were super nice and chatting with everyone in the store (1 young women and 2 young men). I have a gluten allergy and I'm so happy they have a gluten free bread! So when I asked for that, the girl behind the counter asked if it was for preference or allergy so she could prepare my food with caution. That made me so happy, I felt really appreciated. I had to wait a little bit for the bacon on my BLT, but I'm totally okay with that because they were all so nice and communicative and asked if I would be okay with waiting. Greeted with "Put your mask on" instead of a hello. I had my mask on, my son was going to ask for one. They were out of masks, so my son went back to car for mask. Employee was telling another client to pull his mask over his nose. Sandwiches were sloppily assembled and Mike's Way dressing seemed to be mixed w too much oil-to-vinegar and excessively soaked through the bread. To make matters worse, they got the 2 orders placed ahead of me entirely wrong and placed my order in the bag belonging to the customer ahead of me. I had to make them check before he walked out with my order. Normally, I would have gone to another business instead of completing the transaction, but my son is a big fan of these not-so-moderately-priced sandwiches; and I was a bit behind schedule. In the past, Jersey Mike's quality and service makes up for the price. If this we're my first visit to a Jersey Mike's, I'd never go again. My son is a big eater who love Jersey Mike's, and can easily finish a giant sub. Today he only finished half of his regular. He handed the rest to me to show me how the meat and cheese didn't stay in the sandwich and how soaked the bread became (less than 5 minutes after ordering). Staff interacted more with each other than w customers. Customer ahead of me was already upset about how he was commanded to pull his mask over his nose. There are nicer ways to communicate this. Remember; we can't see your face, so we don't know if you're smiling. If employees don't greet customers w authentic welcome and treat us w common courtesy courtesy, the employees seem outright rude. Omg, this place has changed my mind on subs. I don't eat subs at all, but this place had really good sub. Husband wanted to eat from here while I get Starbucks from door, and I decided to stop by here first since it wasn't busy. This place is really clean with simple menu and presentation was appealing. I ordered regular size salami and swiss sub with tomato, lettuce, vinegar, and oil. I also asked them to grill my salami. My sub was so good my husband almost ate half of it, ( he didn't get the vinegar and oil on his sub, but with mayo) so i guess Mike's way is better. Let me start off by saying that I LOVE JERSEY MIKE'S. This rating is SPECIFIC TO THIS LOCATION. So I've been pretty much a weekly Jersey Mike's eater for about 7 months now. This is my first time at this location; I always found myself at the Main & Macarthur location because it's close to my old job or the one near PCH in Long Beach- LOVE both of the others. I have my 'go-to' order: Philly Cheese extra meat extra cheese. Now, I've order this countless times before and for some reason it was now a FOUR DOLLAR AND FIFTY CENT EXTRA CHARGE FOR EXTRA MEAT (coming out to over 20 bucks for the giant). On top of that, my friend also ordered a Philly Cheese (no extras) and when we unwrapped them both... THEY HAD EXACTLY THE SAME MEAT. I don't know if my love for their food will allow me to boycott them for a while, but this really was some bullsh*t if you ask me. read more

I was kinda bummed when Togo's vanished but I thought I'd see what all the hype is about. So the service is very friendly; however, they don't take slight changes to the condiments assigned to particular sandwiches very smoothly. Provolone, mustard and pickles only was such a task. The paragraph she put on the ticket for the cook would have perplexed CIA code breakers. They managed two out of the three. There was cheese and pickles but no mustard. I may have missed the DIY condiment bar, if so my bad on that one. I had the pastrami and it was very tasty. Bread was awesome and the pinch of pastrami was very flavorful. Food tastes great though the portions are pretty small for 7.50. The bun swallows up the meager portion of meat but that meager portion was damn tasty. I doubt I'll go as often as Togo's when it was there but when I have a pastrami craving I'll just have to suck it up and fork it out to add more meat. read more

I went to this location today on my 1 hour lunch break. I am part of the rewards program and love Jersey Mike's. I had enough points to earn a free regular sub. I like to add extra meat so the total is usually more than the price of a regular. I go to pay and the amount comes to $2.65 in which I have to slide my card because they don't accept the chip reader. The cashier tells me the card didn't go through, so I slide the card again and still nothing. I ask the cashier to manually enter the numbers because I know I have money in my account. Instead she tells me there is nothing she can do. So I leave empty handed because I have already wasted time driving over there, then waiting in line, and then dealing with poor service. I always get the same thing when I come to Jersey Mike's and that the Club Supreme with provolone instead of swiss. This place has become my go to sub place when I want a sandwich. No more subway or Quizno's for me. The giant is enough to feed 2 people at 15 inches but the deli meat here is much better quality than any other sub place. Service is great too. I placed my order online for pickup at 2:10. I got to the store at 2:15 and stood at the counter for 2 minutes before one of the 5 employees even acknowledged I was there. They were NOT busy, there was 2 customers in store who were already eating. The employees would look at me and then look away without even pretending to move toward the register. Finally one employee in the back told another employee to help me. I signed my credit card receipt and she told me it would be ready in a bit. The point of ordering online is to run in and run out, I won't deny that the food is good, but the online ordering system is pointless if the food isn't ready when you get there. And the customer service is crap. What's the point of having 5 employees working if 2 of them literally stand there and stare at customers rather than helping them? C'mon, guys. read more

I ordered tuna with swiss cheese onions jalapenos and mustard. he forgot the onions and tomato and put a tiny little line of mustard and laughingly said Is this enough mustard? I asked for more but then I turned around to grab some chips and didn't notice that he forgot the other items. Then the guy at the register couldn't get my card to charge so I ended up paying cash.
