Poor Counter Service - might be better using the app to avoid inconveniencing the staff. My husband (first time going to JM) went in to place an order for our family. He had each order via text so he could provide the orders to the staff. Staff were very rude, unhelpful, and by the last two sandwiches he was told they only come as listed on the board- no substitutions or changes, even though JM prides themselves on made-to-order sandwiches. JM has great sandwiches- if you are craving one and want great customer service and want what you ask for, you may want to avoid the Laguna store and go somewhere else. I read some reviews of bad service before I decided to try Jersey Mikes off Laguna, Oh Boy, was I surprised in a good way. As soon as I stepped in I was greeted by a few employees, even spoke to the Manager (Rafael) on shift at the time. Excellent service The 2 sandwiches ordered were the Turkey w provolone, added avacado/pickles & the Roast Beef w provolone with bacon added. Overall the sandwiches were good as a first timer not knowing how or what is added. Now I know how they make their sandwiches, perhaps next time I will ask for more of salt/pepper/vinegar. Not a deal breaker though! This Laguna location is right next to Smashed Burgers/Starbucks. Convenient if you crave something else. All I wanted was one turkey sandwich with mayo only. The Asian girl helped me and seemed annoyed. When we got to the mayo she pulls a plastic fork out of the hot red pepper relish, slams the relish off then scoops the mayo and spreads it on the bread. There was red in the mayo that's still there for others and on my sandwich. I asked is that hot? She said no did you want some? It's already on the sandwich. I said I just want to make sure it's not hot it's for a child. She said it's not and wrapped the sandwich. I should have just left but I bought it. My child cannot eat spicy and cross contaminating the mayo with a topping I didn't want is crazy. I really really love their sandwiches. I order from them a lot. I won't go there again. One of my favorite chain sub spots and I have been to a bunch of locations but this one was different. The cold sandwiches are solid compared to other places but my go to at Jersey Mike's is the Big Kahuna. This is a fully loaded cheesesteak with peppers and extra cheese. Given the name of this sub, it should be stacked with meat and cheese but the ones I have gotten here are not that. I have gotten the regular and giant, which is like 2 regulars. When I get it here it just does not hit. The bread is good, white or rosemary, but the sub seems lighter, and the ratio of bread to meat is off. Was hungry and saw this in my search. First time here. The place looks nice. There was ample parking when I went. I got a spot up front. There was one lady in front of me. The guy took my order right after her and another worker started my steak right on the griddle. I had seen reviews on the big Kahuna steak sandwich so I ordered it . I know the foot long was a lot at almost 20 bucks. It was so worth it. So tender and juicy with a lot of meat. I enjoyed it and couldn't finish it. So much flavor. I am a fan of hot sandwiches. Jersey Mikes has a vast selection of hot and cold sandwiches. I tried the Chipotle cheese steak, which was basically a cheese steak with Chipotle mayo. If I could give this Jersey Mikes a ZERO I would. Every time I have tried to eat here it is a hassle. The staff are in DESPERATE need of customer service training. I requested gluten free bread and today they don't have any. In the past they have not been respectful of gluten free protocol's like changing their gloves and reducing cross contamination. I've seen a bunch of Jersey Mike's ads as of late and decided to finally try it out especially as this location is pretty close to where I live. I got a cheesesteak. Pretty decent cheesesteak overall (for a chain). The beef slices were tender but what I really didn't like about the cheesesteak is the sauce used; a bit too rich/sweet for liking. What I was pleasantly surprised about though is the bread. I got wheat bread and the bread was really soft and had a nice wheat taste to it; I can imagine it being extra good on a cold sandwich. I came here for a regular sized Italian sub as part of their birthday rewards. They give you 80 points to "spend" when you sign up for their emails. You can either order in-store or online, and I ordered online, so it was easy for them to make all the customizations without missing anything. You don't even need the app on your phone! Just log into your account on your browser. After you place your order, you can head to the online pickup counter. Service was quick and friendly at this location. My order was ready a bit earlier than the stated time, especially considering it was a Saturday lunch time, which was nice! I got my sub, and I think it's pretty generous for a birthday meal! My sub came with their rosemary bread, lots of meat, cheese, the "Jersey Mike's way" toppings, and some jalapenos. It was delicious! Would definitely come back. I went on a different day and the men who were working were very amazing, (one of them was older w/ a ring). i came back to this location today and was faced with VERY disrespectful and different treatment. they also got my order wrong so i kindly corrected them, and they gave me attitude about it??? i was so shocked because i was not being rude or anything to deserve that. they do NOT show what jersey mikes is supposed to be like. they were visibly showing attitude and being rude... i would not recommend this location due to the fact that it does not reflect the company's standards. despite the awful service, my sandwiches were also made way too dry when i asked for mikes way. this was disappointing coming from someone who works under the same company. read more

This has become our go to place for sandwiches. We come here two or three times a month and have never been disappointed. My wife always gets the #7 which is a turkey and provolone on white bread with avocado. The turkey and cheese are freshly cut in front of you. They offer a decent selection of vegetables, but my wife opts for the lettuce, tomato and onions. She loves the spices and chooses to forgo the juice. I order a different sandwich each time. My favorites are the hot varieties if I am eating there. I recommend trying a few different ones. The cheesesteak is delicious, but can get soggy if you have a long drive.
