I ordered a beach bikini sandwich which consisted of cream cheese, cranberry sauce, spinach and turkey. All the ingredients were very fresh which made the sandwich taste amazing. The inside of this restaurant is cutely decorated. The tables are actually in a shape of a surfboard. I thought that was a great idea. Definitely recommend coming here for a good sandwich. read more

I've always made a to go order. I have enjoyed the Chef Salad, the Cabo, and BBQ Chicken Salad. It was a delicious treat during the hot summer months. The staff have always been friendly and helpful. Very disappointed in this place today. Ordered online at 1:10 and was told order would be ready at 1:30. When I arrived the staff were in the back laughing and having a very good time. However there were no sandwiches being made. I observed staff touching their hair and clothes while making sandwiches. GROSS! I was told my sandwiches weren't quite ready. They said they would bring them out. I waited until 1:50 at which time I went up to ask about much longer it would take. I was told, "oh here they are." When I told them I had been sitting there waiting they said "oh no one told us" At this point someone who seemed to be an owner brought a visitor in to see the workers. I doubt anyone who ordered after me got to eat! It will be awhile before I visit this pace again! People need to own and take responsibility for their mistakes! I do gluten-free sandwiches so the bread has an up charge. $$$$ That means a regular gluten-free sandwich comes out to $16.75.... That's way overpriced. Regular sandwiches are $14.25. Still pricey for a sandwich. I always get the surfing bird. I really enjoy the combination of bacon, turkey, and cream cheese. Always delicious. The hobie is basically an Italian sandwich and I'm all here for it. Delicious variety of cold meats. The beach bikini is good. It's their version of turkey and cranberry. They have an app which I ordered from, and I was a little overwhelmed with all the choices and even adjustments that could be made. All the choices and options are good for people that are picky. As soon as I put in my order, I saw that the wait time was really long. I got there to pick up my order a tad early. But they were definitely behind, even though the restaurant itself wasn't busy. I think they were short handed for a bit too, until another worker walked in with mayonnaise. My thinking is they must have run out so he had to get some. I would say the sandwich was really good. I'm glad I only got a regular because I don't think I could finish a bigger size. I do think it's a tad pricey for sandwiches, but that could just be attributed to the overall increasing cost of food in general. I have been a regular here for nearly 10 years. The food is good, and they always have a great selection of beers on tap, although my favorite is the cider. However, the outstanding service from the staff here is their best feature. Everyone is always friendly and fun. It's a great crew. I ordered a sandwich and not all of the ingredients that were supposed to be on the sandwich were included, but When I talked with the server I was given the impression that I was inconveniencing her by asking her to provide the missing ingredients. We truly like going to our local Beach Hut Deli though it is hit or miss with getting our order correct. We enjoy the fresh crisp cold produce used and the mountains of meat when we get what we order. Our order is not complicated ... its no mayo, no onion and extra peppercinis ... most they leave the onion on though the last time it was extra mayo ... so much so we couldn't eat the sandwich - to each their own.
