I came here for a regular sized Italian sub as part of their birthday rewards. They give you 80 points to "spend" when you sign up for their emails. You can either order in-store or online, and I ordered online, so it was easy for them to make all the customizations without missing anything. You don't even need the app on your phone! Just log into your account on your browser. After you place your order, you can head to the online pickup counter. Service was quick and friendly at this location. My order was ready a bit earlier than the stated time, especially considering it was a Saturday lunch time, which was nice! I got my sub, and I think it's pretty generous for a birthday meal! My sub came with their rosemary bread, lots of meat, cheese, the "Jersey Mike's way" toppings, and some jalapenos. It was delicious! Would definitely come back. If I could give this Jersey Mikes a ZERO I would. Every time I have tried to eat here it is a hassle. The staff are in DESPERATE need of customer service training. I requested gluten free bread and today they don't have any. In the past they have not been respectful of gluten free protocol's like changing their gloves and reducing cross contamination. This has become our go to place for sandwiches. We come here two or three times a month and have never been disappointed. My wife always gets the #7 which is a turkey and provolone on white bread with avocado. The turkey and cheese are freshly cut in front of you. They offer a decent selection of vegetables, but my wife opts for the lettuce, tomato and onions. She loves the spices and chooses to forgo the juice. I order a different sandwich each time. My favorites are the hot varieties if I am eating there. I recommend trying a few different ones. The cheesesteak is delicious, but can get soggy if you have a long drive. We stopped here to pick up a quick lunch on our way home. I love that they have just as many hot sub options as they have cold options! I'm not a huge sandwich person but if I get one, it's always a hot sandwich. The Big Kahuna cheesesteak caught my eye because of the jalapeños. They were able to easily customize and take out the mushrooms per my request. The cheese was perfectly melted and they definitely don't skimp on the meat. This sandwich was loaded! The caramelized onions and pickled jalapeños added a nice kick. I loved the rosemary bread at first but at the end I got too much rosemary at some point because it tasted like flowers and really turned off my tastebuds. Good thing I was almost done with the sandwich! I'll stick with regular white bread next time but I am definitely coming back for more of their hot subs next time! read more

I went here last week for the first time. Sandwiches were good. I especially liked the Italian I got. Service was weird. I got the impression the girl was annoyed that I just walked in while my order was just received by them. It was cuz I parked the car, placed my order on the app, and I walked into the restaurant. What's wrong with using the app outside the parking lot? Restaurant was empty so no idea why she was annoyed with me. Anywho, maybe she was just having a bad day. I've never been to Jersey Mike's Subs even though I've seen them for quite some time. Out for lunch on a Friday and looking to try something new, I noticed a Jersey Mike's and went for it. I entered the location near Target in Elk Grove and was quickly helped. Almost a little too quickly since I was scanning the menu as fast as I could as not to hold up the line. I settled on the #17 Mike's Famous Philly which has grilled onions, peppers & white American cheese. The gentleman sliced my meat freshly in front of me and built the sandwich. It was heated and wrapped and placed in my bag. It smelt very good. I took it to my location and opened it up. I purchased the regular not wanting to eat too much but was surprised by how little it was. The next size was twice as large and I think I'll do that next time. I've had Philly Cheesesteak in good 'ol Philly itself so I was prepared for disappointment since there was American cheese instead of the required authentic Cheez Whiz. To my surprise, disappointment wasn't the feeling. It was a very good sandwich. In fact, I wolfed it down in no time. Man, I was totally wishing for the larger size by the last bite! While the #17 isn't what you'd get off the streets of Philly, it is a fantastic sub by it's own merit. seriously the best bite of any cold sub of my life. The structure of the sandwich is perfect. A lot of subs, you put them in the fridge it gets soggy. However even with going Mike's way these sandwiches never get soggy. I believe this is due to the portions being perfect. There is the perfect amount of bread, meat, and veggies. I am from the Philadelphia area and Jersey Mike's makes the closest steak sandwich from that area. Usually, the clerk is nice and asks what sandwich you want and on what bread. This young man was in a hurry and after I said a regular #17 on white roll, he was off and running. I had to tell him three times that I wanted only onions and provolone cheese instead of white American. Then the cashier rang me out and I was distracted from what the other young man was doing to my sandwich. He started rolling it up and I said "wait a minute. I would like tomatoes and pickles on the sandwich." He took the items over to the grill and I said no. Just put the tomatoes and pickles on the sandwich. Then, the register wouldn't work right and the cashier had to take my card and ring it through himself. I asked for a receipt to make sure the sale was closed out. When I got home and unwrapped my sandwich, I saw the young man had not cut the sandwich in half and there was something white dripping all over my plate. He had added mayonnaise to my steak sandwich. I am dairy intolerant and I had to take the sandwich a part and scrape off the dripping white sauce. And for this glorious production, I paid $11.79. I am so disappointed. I won't be back for awhile. The sandwich maker was also rude to me and to the young girl in front of me. He needs a change of attitude or job. I have gotten several cold sandwiches before here and they were some of the best in town. Super fresh ingredients and really fast online processing. I love all the different topping options and how soft the bread is. One weird interaction I had with this location was when I went in and asked if they could heat up the ham. She told me they could only heat it up on the stove/grill and that it would be cross contamination with other meat. I asked if they had an oven so I wouldn't have grilled deli ham and she said no. (Nugget has an oven so I figured I'd ask) I told her that I couldn't have uncooked deli meat due to the risk of listeria and she looked at me confused and reiterated that they could heat it up but would be cross contamination and asked if I would be okay with that? Why would cross contamination be a recommendation to a customer? Especially when I told her I was already concerned with possible bacteria in the meat. I thought that was really strange. Until I can eat cold deli ham sandwiches again I guess I won't be back. read more

It's was nice to avoid the drive from Elk Grove to Delta Shores for Jersey Mike's for a sando. The Delta Shores location has always done a great job, so I was stoked to see one going in just down the street. I ordered my usual cheesesteak sub, and waited. I recall the person making the sandwiches was wearing a mask, but the man who took the order (guessing the owner) had no mask on at all. IIRC someone working on the back was also not wearing a mask. With the mask requirement for everyone (all customers were wearing them), why aren't seemingly any local restaurants compliant with the mask rules? You'd think this would be especially true in food service. Ultimately, the sandwich was a wet mess. It soaked through the paper, and I don't know how. Added oil? Not sure what soaked everything, but it didn't appear to be sauce. I will eventually be trying again, as any new place can have growing pains, and hope they keep working to improve... and also wear their masks like the rest of us. read more

Horrible customer service! We had a large catering order over the phone. First phone call Rafa took order but did not give quote for price on the phone or after any options. After calling back a woman would not give quote or any information "since she did not talk to me first time". After looking at options online and calling back for clarification Rafa did not note how we ended the call, which was to stay at the orginal order unless I called back. The new staff member was pleasant but the person training her was the most negative and rude person, she made our visit very unpleasant.
