This is one busy intersection. Canes has good food but you're gonna fork over some cash if you want to eat. I feel the raising prices on chicken is to blame. The service is pretty fast here and was surprised when I asked for a half lemonade half unsweet tea that they knew the proper name of the drink. I did try and order that recently, and my drinks were made incorrectly. Also, a previous visit, it looks like I had someone else's custom order. No slaw and double bread. I generally keep my Caniac Combo as is but when I saw I had no slaw...I feel disappointment. Don't get me wrong, the bread is great. But the drive home anticipation of what you're about to enjoy is bursted with the sights of no slaw...yeah... Anyways, it's good and friendly and fast service. This location has gone downhill. Management is awful. The counter is dirty, they are out of sanitizer, and the staff clothing is dirty. The ice machine is out of order and when I went to get my daughters drink there was soap foam and the drink was clumpy over the suds...I sipped it to be sure and soap was extremely strong The manager went over and tried it and quickly covered her cup and said there's no soap in there I was just probably when you used it. Super stoked that they opened up a location in Saginaw! RC offers chicken tenders only but they do it right! I've been here a few times and the food and service have both been great. The staff is always friendly and courteous. The tenders are hot and fresh during lunch and they never disappoint. The drive thru has two lanes that merge into one. I like that they can see that area and will tell you specifically, "please pull up behind the white truck beside you" so that there is no confusion! But actually, the crowd has died down since the grand opening. The couple of recent times I have been there, they only have one lane open and there's not even a line. Hopefully this just means they've become more fast and efficient not because the new eatery hype has left the locals (please don't leave me, RC). Sadly, I can't eat here often. Have to do a review. Been going to this cane since they opened staff is always extremely friendly and works hard to get your order correct. However the true star, for me, is the manager up there. I order my chicken extra crispy and my fries extra crispy. The manager will actually stop the order and say this needs to be redone to make sure I'm getting the quality product that they want to put out. I just went and ate inside today, the food was great, that's not what my review is for. While we were sitting inside, there was a man at a table nearby with a backpack reading his Bible. He would speak out loud occasionally, but not excessively loud and only to himself about verses/love. While we were eating inside, a woman in a purple shirt was doing an interview with two people, and we didn't see her react/interact with the man. Soon, though, two police officers walked inside and at the request of the woman in the purple shirt, asked him to leave. She claimed he was being disruptive to customers and wanted him to be escorted out. Both my friend and I found this incredibly disrespectful on her part, as she didn't attempt to speak with him once before calling the police. We were about to order some food for him so he was able to stay inside and escape the 105° weather outside, but by the time that idea came up he was already being walked out. He put up no fight and wasn't disrespectful or rude to anybody involved. Even the police officers seemed like they didn't want to kick him out, they were just doing their job as the lady in the purple shirt requested them to do. Obviously we don't know if he's been inside before or caused a scene before we came in, but he seemed kind and harmless. It hurts my heart that people treat homeless people with such disrespect, as if their humanity is lost the moment their life takes that turn. I'm sure the situation could have been handled peacefully if she would've taken the time to speak to him as a person with no judgement of his situation. As we left we saw him walking in the heat by himself. Please have some compassion for those in different situations, that man deserved respect and humanity and that was not granted to him today. read more

Raising Cane's just opened not that long ago on Bailey Boswell. As expected, great food and great service. After placing our order, we had our food within 3 minutes. Ok cool so the cost for a chicken sandwich meal has increased $3 in less than a year, you have to beg just to pay more for BBQ sauce, and they don't even give you ketchup unless you demand it after you've gone home and realized they didn't include any even though you asked for it.
