A Regular size of the Big Kahuna Steak & Cheese
    J E.

We were so excited to see this new Jersey Mike's being built and couldn't wait to give it a try once it opened. I went on a weekday and even though there was only one other diner inside at lunch time, they had about 10 bags of food sitting on the rack waiting for delivery drivers to come pick them up! I absolutely LOVE that they freshly slice their deli meats to order and I definitely love how awesome their cheesesteaks are, but one thing I wish they would change is the size of their subs. They need a 9" to give diners (like me) something in between the Giant and the Regular size. Since I was especially hungry on today's visit, I tried a mini version of their Italian sub, as well as the regular size of their Big Kahuna Steak & Cheese. The Italian was awesome! The freshly meats on it really make a difference and all the flavors coming together was heavenly! But that steak & cheese was incredible! I've had many steak & cheeses, but it's very tough to beat JM's Big Kahuna!!! The staff inside was very friendly and helpful and quick to make my meal. The place is brand new, still neat and clean. I'll definitely be back!

This is my Italian sub (takeout).
Look how everything is layered nicely :)

Fresh food, friendly service, and good atmosphere. Jersey Mike's is one of my favorite go to places. The Italian in a tub is ‍ kiss!

Great food and kind service. The prices seem a little high until you see your sandwich -- they pile the meat and cheese on.

Their menu was quite large, with hot dogs, cold subs, hot sandwiches, and paninis listed. They also feature a couple soups daily. When we went, they had a loaded baked potato soup and a lobster bisque. The young girl working the front was very happy and helpful and gave some good suggestions too. The place is quaint, with several tables and lots of historic signs on the walls. We started with their baked potato soup - The overall flavor was nice. But the potatoes in it were rubbery, like they used the wrong type of potato or maybe over-cooked it. Also, the soup was just warm, far from being served hot. Next up were the sandwiches - I chose the BBQ chicken sandwich, which had thinly sliced chicken breast on it, along with BBQ sauce, mayo, and onions. The sandwich was pressed, like a panini and was pretty good. I liked the smokiness of the BBQ sauce. I also got a bottle of their homemade root beer and it was pretty good. They serve Route 11 potato chips, which are my favs! So, I had to pick up a bag of Mama Zuma for later - those things are spicey, hot, and tasty! Overall, it's a nice spot, I can see them being a popular lunch spot downtown.

Doesn't really look good. Ordered the Reuben and onion rings to share. Reuben's are typically very large. This was a small Reuben and for sure could have eaten the entire thing. Onion rings were a bit soggy and table didn't like their fries either. The Reuben, though small, was very good. Service was quick and waitress was nice. The place is quite expensive for wha you get. We got 3 sandwiches, 2 with fries and 1 with onion rings, 2 waters and a sprite. It was $52. I think that is a bit high especially looking at size of sandwich but the were delicious.

The food is always spot-on. I have had several opportunities to go in on weekdays as well. The general vibe is slower, though the food comes out fast. Always several clusters of retirees and several pairs of business folks talking in hushed tones. On these days, even if you haven't been in in months they make you feel like a regular. This is Yelp, so I need to recommend a few things to order. Their chef salad is HUGE. The club sandwich is a great offering. And the one you'll skip over but shouldn't is the Adkins Special, which is 3 eggs and 2 meats (or 2x one meat) -- no bread, no fruit, no potatoes. Sometimes you just need to go all proteins! Anyway, all of these are great options. Also, their "numbered" deli sandwiches are all good choices. We remain regulars. Although I have only checked in about 40 times we are there at least twice a month. If you see me come say hi!
