Well it's spendy I got the regular roast beef at $9.50. I know subway is as expensive but this wasn't a foot long sandwich. It was pretty tasty but next time I will search for coupons.

##43 Chipotle Cheese Steak, a little meat on one side, I paid for a Giant. Do better !

Ordered a Giant #43, barely had any meat in it and was very dry considering it had chipotle mayo on it. For $18+ they should put some meat on the sub ! Very disappointed, won't be back to this location, hope the next location knows how to make a sub

Delicious, clean, and reasonably priced, I greatly enjoyed stopping in here for lunch while waiting to get new tires installed across the street. Although at first glance you might mistake this for a Subway, the sandwiches here are definitely a cut above. For starters, they have a large grill behind the counter where they cook up cheesesteaks to order. I had one of these and it was delicious - full of flavor in every bite and still juicy. Next time I stop in I'm excited to try their meatball sub, and curious to try some of their cold sandwiches as well.

Roast Beef is my favorite! Love that it's cut in half. Sandwich is so big, plenty to share with a friend or keep for next day's lunch....

My current favorite is the Roast Beef with Provolone done Mike's Way! Love that the sandwiches are cut in half. It makes it easy to eat, and easy to share...since the sandwich is humongous! I always share my half and then eat half of a half and keep the half for next day's lunch. What a great deal so fresh and yummy. LOVE!

I ordered a giant size no.17 Philly sandwich with no veggies. I get home and guess what? It's loaded with onions and peppers. I can't eat either of them. Now I have a $15 sandwich that I can't eat. I don't want to go on a 40 minute round trip to replace it. I'm screwed.

I walked in this morning at 11am, and immediately all the workers asked to see if we have been helped. This is my first time ever coming to Jersey Mike's & honest to say, Abby made it a delightful first time she offered me a take out menu for convenience, and kept a positive demeanor at all times when communicating with me. She was so helpful & warm welcoming, she definitely deserves a raise & praise for being a great worker ESPECIALLY during this pandemic! Thank you Abby

The bad news is that it was too much filling for me to wrangle without rendering me unpresentable, but the good news is that it tasted GREAT. Super flavorful! Would definitely recommend. Came with fries and a drink for a very reasonable price, and those fries were delicious also; super crispy and flavorful with no need for dip. Lots of napkins needed for that wrap though. Looking around at what other people were eating has me convinced that they have a lot of good food. I saw someone eating one of the rice dishes that looked amazing, and the employee was excited to tell me all the other specialties that they are very proud of. They source a lot of their ingredients from Egypt, and they credit themselves with the creation of the Dubai Chocolate Milkshake which I regret not trying this time. You should come hungry because the portion sizes are ample and you'll want to consume them in their entirety.

It's been a few years since my last review of Crossroads Deli, but my rating remains high. Their…read morematzo ball soup is one of the best versions available in the Twin Cities. Today I tried their Roast Beef on Weck, which is carved roast beef on a type of roll called a Weck (a Kaiser-style roll topped with coarse salt and caraway seeds.). The restaurant was busy, and this is not a trendy place! I'd be surprised if there was anyone in the restaurant who was not of Medicare age (which also describes me; I'm not being ageist, just truthful). This is something that is available for lunch, during the week (not on weekends). Previously, I wanted to order this before. It was at the beginning of the lunch hour, so unfortunately the end pieces were cooked well-done. I asked if they would cut from the center, which is much more rare, but they wouldn't do that. This time, we came later and I could see that the roast beef was gloriously rare, which is what I like. The sandwich was quite enjoyable because it was juicy and flavorful. It comes with a side of cole slaw which is vinegar based (which I liked, but isn't traditional in the Midwest). It's difficult to find good, rare roast been in the Twin Cities, so this was another good find. My wife had the matzo ball soup, which remains high quality. The beef on weck sandwich (with coleslaw) was nearly $20, which is a bit on the expensive side. The service is spotty. It depends upon who is your waitstaff person (I knew it would be slow based on our previous experience with this person).

I immediately started to worry. Unfortunately my worries have slowly " come true" ...and with an extremely upset heart, Crossroads has changed. Scott and Stu had dedication and sheer love of cooking and baking with the BEST of ingredients and exquisite rare perfect use of spices. Their flavors in everything they touched were some of the VERY BEST I have experienced nationally and in my home state of NY where my father taught Biochemistry in the Bronx at Einstein Med School (1955-1980) and where my intense passion for Delicatessen cuisine originated. Coming almost daily to Crossroads truly made my day! I adored EVERYTHING they created. Even shipped a large lemon coconut cake to mom's beloved 90 year old boss at Scarsdale Medical Center 8 years ago! Today: Their rye bread with caraway seeds was identical to Grossinger's. Now almost zero flavor. The broasted chicken if served hot fresh out of the cooker is still excellent. Some of the original spices gone. The lemon coconut cake has zero real lemon flavor just deep yellow coloring, Their pastrami and corned beef also lost 1/3 to 1/2 of their original flavor plus the size of the sandwiches 1/3-1/2 the original size. The new main dishes are almost tasteless. Their original recipes for matzo ball soup, etc are still good - - vary 8-10 rating. They no longer use as much/ perhaps any butter in their coffee cake " breads" which used to be a 10. Many cookies and tiny pastries in the same display case are still good. Compared to many other restaurants today they are now just " an ok". Gone are the days when Crossroads Deli was " TRULY SPECTACULAR "......

I love myself a cheesesteak and I wanted to see if this would be a new favorite I'd enjoy wearing out. They loaded this sandwich with onions, green peppers, and mushrooms. They added some of their pasta sauce on the bottom as well. The sandwich was good, but I thought it needed a bit more flavoring/spices. The bread was some of the softest I've experienced though and the cheese was a good amount. The combo was paired with a pickle spear and a bag of potato chips. This may sound strange, but can potato chips steal the show? Because they did. Super crunch and salty. Yum-O! I tried their coleslaw too and it seemed like to sat there awhile. It was tasteless and I ended up throwing the pint out. I will say the staff here are very friendly and helped me decide on some sandwiches and gave me an honest review of their favorites and least favorites. I appreciate that. Conveniently located off Johnson NE (free parking on the street), this local restaurant serves up some good hoagies, sub-marino sandwiches (see what I did there?), pasta, and other Italian food. It's a unique restaurant because it's kind of like a deli and fast casual restaurant with a few tables inside, but when I arrived shortly after 1 pm, it was pretty empty. Overall, the service was great, it's a family-owned place and the mother and daughter were working and were very pleasant. The place smells terrific, if you like Italian food and good sauces. While the decor is a step-back in time, I really enjoyed the taxidermy walleyes which is a true reflection of being a Minnesota business. The sandwich I selected was good, came with a small bag of chips, and wasn't too pricey - the prices are actually pretty good, but the only thing I would say is the sizes aren't huge. I recommend Marinos if you are in the neighborhood and definitely want to try the pasta and meat ravioli next time!
