1st time here since I just moved to the area a week ago. The food was delicious! I got the tenders and Bbq platted/dinner with fries and coleslaw. The food was tasty. The issue I have with this establishment is their cleanliness or lack of. I went to use the men's bathroom and the smell of Urine hit me upon opening the door. It looked like someone peed all over the place and no one bothered checking and cleaning. That's just nasty. The other issue I have is the smell of a "sour" rag upon walking into the restaurant. It's strong and can't confuse the smell. I know restaurants have a protocol for cleaning tables, surfaces and floors. The whole place smelled like that "sour" rag and the tables that I watched being clean were sticky. If you know something about a sour rag is that the smell is from bacteria releasing that smell. No matter how good the food is, if a bathroom is nasty and or I smell that "sour" rag smell, I start to ask what else is dirty or not being properly cleaned. Not about to get sick from eating or touching surfaces. Hard pass on this place, and it's a shame because it was my 1st time here.

Average chain BBQ. Their fried chicken is good but prices a bit high. There is much better in Fuquay. 7/10

Clean venue, good flavor (3.5 / 5 star)…read more Venue: bright and modern decor. Small-to medium sized venue on the ground floor of apartment building. (live, play) type of building. Food: small menu which I do not have any problem with. When I go to Thai/lao restaurants, I always order papaya salad - which will tell me everything and what kind of food I can expect. Very simple taste- that doesn't mean bland. It captures sweet, savory and tang. Ordered green curry. Good flavor but almost bland - it can improve on the ingredients. Khao soi noodles again, taste good but missing something - All the dishes tried seems it was missing fish sauce flavor and more, which all dishes didn't seem to reflect traditional deep flavors. The chicken wings were pretty good. Wish the skin was crunchy and had a better batter. The hat yai dry rub was good, salty and sour but kind of reminded me more like tajin. My son really loved it. Service: yin and yang. One older lady who served our table was nice and attentive. The other supporting female staff there was unfriendly, almost seemed mad at the world. Slow service. Price: I don't know why NC charges so much for Asian food in general. I can't say it's outrageously expensive or reasonable price for the genre of this food. All in all, not a bad tasting food. It captured good flavor and has potential. I felt that the dishes are made afraid to show the real flavor traditional Thai flavor. May be good for entry -level food exploring.

I found a coupon and decided we should try it since there's one that recently opened in FV and close to our activity. The coupon didn't work because the name is not the same anymore. It used to be called Sweetberry bowl. The changed happened sometime in the summer. So, I ordered one sweet and one savoury bowls. They also have sandwiches and smoothies. For the savoury Poke bowl, I got spicy crab, seaweed salad, corn, cucumber, rice puff, and furikake all on a bed of brown rice. I like it. The spicy crab has a heat but not too strong that you can't taste anything else. The seaweed salad is nice and fresh. For the sweet bowl, I got pitaya(dragon fruit with açai), granola, blueberries, Nutella, and bee pollen. That was pretty good. The bee pollen is interesting but it's a good one to have in this cold, flu and allergy season. (Lol) the blueberries are huge and sweet. Definitely a place to come back again.

The avocado was mashed, not sliced, and tasted almost like a tangy guacamole but with a slightly bitter finish. The rest of the bowl was great. The quinoa base was hot and the cilantro lime sauce was an excellent addition. I like that you can get 2 sauces on the side before they charge for additional sauces. Service was fast and friendly. They do still make some of the bowls that were offered when this location was sweet berry bowls or something like that up until this past April when it became Supabowlz. Oh, not a fan of the music played in here but there are a few tables out front in a small outdoor seating area.

We made a rookie mistake: no reservation. Day before Christmas Eve. The only table available was by the door, which, for us, is a hard no. It was already chilly outside, and sitting by the door means constant drafts, tense shoulders, and food cooling faster with every opening. Not ideal, especially when you're settling in for a proper steak dinner. To their credit, the hostess tried everything--even showing us the reservation layout for the evening. The owner came over personally, and in the end, our options were simple: take the door table or come back at 7:30 pm when more tables would open. We were hungry, but we chose comfort over impatience. My dad left his number just in case a table opened sooner. We went home, had light snacks, and--surprise--got a call at 6:55 pm. Not only was a table available, it was a booth. That alone told me everything I needed to know about how they run this place. Stellar Client Care. When we returned, the owner John Linderman, met us at the door--warm, apologetic, and genuinely appreciative that we came back. The entire staff operates like a well-oiled team, with hospitality that feels intentional rather than performative. It's been a good while since I experienced an owner manager stop by every table to check in. A gesture from better dining times. Now, the food. We ordered: * Stuffed Shrimp with crab meat * Sausage bombs * Prime rib * A tomahawk ribeye to split I don't know if Harvey John's is officially farm-to-table, but the steak tasted incredibly clean--like actual beef. As a native New Yorker living in Los Angeles, I've eaten at many top-tier steakhouses--BOA, Ruth's Chris, Musso & Frank, Nick & Stef's, Steak 48--and I can confidently say this tomahawk was more flavorful and tasted fresher than all of them. Who knew a small-town North Carolina steakhouse would deliver a truly high-end experience? I'm no chef, but I do have a refined palate, and this meal was memorable. Honestly? If Michelin ever looks this way, they should take note. It's comforting to know you can leave one of the biggest food cities in the world and still find a steakhouse worthy of becoming a new regular favorite. Pro tip: Make a reservation--just to be safe. Cheers to Harvey John's.
