We walked in the manager welcomed us with a sincere smile. They entire crew you could tell were either great hires, or well trained either way they were friendly and happy to have our patronage. This place is horrible...ordered take out. They told us it would be 25 minutes for 4 sandwiches. No prob. Went to pick up our order, workers did not acknowledge us for 10 minutes. When they finally did, they told us that our order wasn't ready. Really??? They told us they ran out of bread??? 45 min and still no sandwiches. I am very DISAPPOINTED at the fact that I rushed to get to this location on a Saturday night. I checked on Google maps and it stated that they do not close until 10pm on Friday's and Saturday's. My girlfriend and I had our hearts set to having Jersey Mike's (I mean look at my name, c'mon). She was very upset and asked if I checked the right closing time on Yelp. It actually says it closes at 9pm but when we got to the location, it says 10pm imprinted on the door. As I parked, right in front of the location at exactly 9:50pm, the young girl who was working inside, immediately locked the front door. My girlfriend jumps out of the car and had to knock on the door in order for the 3 employees who were inside to acknowledge her. The young lady who locked the door said that they were closed. I find it proposterous that a franchise would close 10 minutes early.. read more

I too had to wait 30 minutes for a hot sandwich while the cold one took 10. New or not, they really are not organized. They aren't THAT new anymore and training must not have been high on the list. Hollering across at each other in front of customers, walking in circles, etc. Customer service isn't #1 here. Even the owner looks overwhelmed. My suggestion: Have a "team" meeting, pay the overtime if necessary, get everyone to bring in a family/friend to act as customers in order to create a long line, have them order one of everything on the menu. Went here twice with my husband, two evenings, excellent sandwiches, excellent service. We raved about it to our families. And so I brought my mother here with a large order for our entire family at 2pm on a monday. We ordered 8 sandwiches and it was just chaos. I dont know if the kids working were new or what. One kid in particular made the wrong sandwich for me and repeatedly said that I ordered a club sandwich when I did not. Pointing at me and saying I did. Ive only been here twice i didnt even know what a club sandwich had in it or anything. The kid would not admit he was wrong. He Made it very awkward for me and my family. They also did not make 1 of our sandwiches. The manager however was well mannered and took care of everything, going thru the reciept with us, apologizing for his staff. And he is the only reason we will ever come back. Im glad he took the time to make sure our order was correct and refund us for the sandwich they didnt make. It was very nice of him to do so. That one kid though If I ever walk in and hes making sandwiches ill just come back later. So I would have given 5 stars but this experience was just terrible, I felt stupid for taking my mother there. Awesome sandwiches though. And that manager was 100 percent professional. I do not like to make scenes and could have easily, but didnt. Because I like this place so much. Yelp removed my last review of this business saying I should provide more detail.The staff is friendly the sandwiches are very good for a chain,far better than Subway.A little pricey.The three star I gave is fair. This used to be my favorite jersey mikes in my area but since they've hired new management it's just gone downhill and the same staff just hasn't been the same. A new manager named "Mike" go figure has been extremely rude to me in person & over the phone & has yet to solve my issues I had with my subs. I love jersey Mikes but this location is a little stingy on the meat. I eat j mikes so much I know the whole routine of how many slices it takes to make the sandwich I always order,but this store always comes up short. Tonight was the worst yet. So much so that when they put my turkey on the bread I ask if that was all the meat they replied yes and I just told them that was ok and I walked out. That's the last time I go to the Gardena store. Ive been to a few jersey mikes and this is the worst. The customer service is severely lacking at this location. I went in last night and was waiting to order without anyone even looking at me for almost 5 minutes. The guy at the register was too busy having a conversation with another employee and her friend. Finally, the light bulb in his head went off and thought maybe i should take this customers order. I had to repeat my order 4 times for him even though it was just the number 56 with no changes. He finally got it down and charged me. Was sitting there waiting around for them to start my order and it just wasnt happening. Two more customers came in and the girl working the grill got their orders started right away. But wait, wasnt i here first? At this point i was pissed and just wanted to get out of there. Lily notices me waiting and asks me what order i was waiting on. I told her and she apologized and got the order started for me. I told her i just wanted a refund because i was waiting a long time and the two customers that got there after me were served before me because the guy was too busy talking to her and her friend. She did apologize again, processed my refund, and still gave me the sandwich. The guy that took my order never even put my order in. Thanks guy. When this location first opened, they were remarkably slow and it took forever to get through the line. That having been said, they have certainly improved their speed and the food is always great and the staff, largely, seems to care about there job and have a good time doing what they are doing. In particular there is one guy that works here (I really should catch his name) that has to be about the most positive and outgoing person I've ever met. And, he seems to remember every customer that's ever come through the door. If you're a regular at this location you know the guy I'm talking about and if you've never been before, you'll figure out who he is pretty quickly. read more

I really like this location, they are much faster than the Hawthorne location. Staff is alway very friendly and helpful. The bread is always super fresh and they keep the store clean. It's nice they have the outdoor patio and Starbucks is right next door. Only downfall is parking is pretty busy in the shopping center. Overall good sandwiches. read more

A bit pricey at 18.20 for a big kahuna combo...the taste is 4.5 but the price is 2.5 and I give a total of 3 stars. CAPRIOTTIS down the street gives 2 sandwiches at this price and taste the same. Big Mikes in Hermosa Beach was the best but they shut down. read more

First timer at Jersey Mike's. Great customer service, however prices are extremely high! I ordered the regular chicken philly cheesesteak for $9.00 expecting a monster looking sub, to my disappointment it was a small 6 incher filled with chicken, jalapeño and cheese and was not able to include any additional veggies. It tasted great, but the fact that you're paying that much without any chips and drink, you're better off going to chipotle next door to get more out of your money. 2 stars for the price read more

the only good thing about this trendy sandwich shop is their sauces and the lettuces piled high on the sandwich. The meats looks preatty low grade compared to the meats they used at other franchise establishments. If the price were low i would eat at this place but the price is outrageously high. They need to lower the price and use higher grade meats. read more
