We visited Lee's Sandwich Shop on a warm Sunday afternoon after a leisurely bike ride. The shop had a single staff member attending to customers who came in waves, it a casual fast food with tables & chairs, casual noise level. I ordered the Veggie Spring roll, I expected it to include rice noodles, lettuce, carrots, cilantro, and maybe cucumbers. The roll, however, contained rice noodles, lettuce, and crunchy toppings, with a side of soy sauce, which did not meet my expectations. Although the dish was edible, I felt it was NOT worth ordering. This instance marked one of the rare occasions I've given a low rating, Regrettably, it didn't meet my expectations, and I won't return.

We ordered couple of sandwiches and drinks to go, service was good as always and food was good as well! We didn't have to wait long for the orders!

Charging a $1 for a cup of ice jus absolutely ludicrous to lol lost my business before they even had it

Sticker was balled up in the smoothies. I flattened it to read it.

Overall, I like Lee's Sandwich chain. I have been to several of them all over from Lakewood Torrance like it's so many I can't even think of all of them, but just know I've been to a quite a few of them when I see one I just go in and get a sandwich. I usually do not get their drinks this time I happen to get a smoothie because this particular location on Artesia has smoothies and they carry other products than the other locations I've been in, which is a good thing that's not a bad thing. I got avocado smoothie and upon drinking it to the last bit I have inserted a picture there is a tag of some sort in my drink. Now good thing it wasn't something like hair or a bug but this is not good either because I could've swallowed it and choked cause it literally did go in my mouth as you say I'm using a Boba straw and I'm easily to gross out, so I almost vomited in my mouth because of realizing that went in my mouth and I didn't know what it was. It almost looked like it could be a fruit or a vegetable label I don't know and I don't care but yikes. I'm not sure how long this has been circulating around inside of their machines or drink. It has been circulating. A smoothie is wet and all of the ink has came off the label or that it's circulating around in their machines or something. I don't know, but I just wanted to report this and hopefully they will be more careful with peoples food orders. I believe that the sticker is fresh because it's still actually stickiness so I don't think it's super old. I just think that whatever the writing was the ink rubbed off into my drink and yeah I don't know. I don't even know what else to say.

#82. Ham, Bacon, Egg & Cheese Baguette

Amazing Vietnamese Iced Mocha Coffee, and recently tried their breakfast sandwich(#82) , served on a fresh baked baguette roll. It's came with bacon, ham, egg and cheese. Made to order so it takes about 5 minutes depending on how busy it is. There's condiment packets like mayo and mustard if you choose. I've been back a few times for the breakfast sandwiches but haven't tried others. Definitely recommend , but must advise the Vietnamese Iced Mocha Coffee is strong in Flavor (but that why I like it).

Stopped by while charging my Tesla nearby for some coffee and picked up a pate chaud as well. The pastry was filled with chicken meat and was delicious. For coffee I got the iced Vietnamese coffee which was delicious as well with sweet condensed milk and a very tasty espresso.

Their signature Lee's Coffee! Oh my. Get the big one iced. Don't embarrass yourself by asking for no ice but to fill to the top. It won't happen. I've seen people been rejected and angry. It's just not how they roll! They will fill with ice to the top and if you have a problem with that, they ain't gonna switch it. No ice doesn't equate to more coffee here. They bake their own bread if you get there early. Great sandwiches at great prices. I like this Lee's Sandwiches because it's right in front of some Tesla Superchargers. Coffee and a charge to get your week going here!

    27. Turkey Club With Bacon Baguette Sandwich
    Moe D.

Finally tried this place for the first time. Well, I wasn't impressed. I ordered the turkey club with bacon. The good: the baguette. Fresh and light. Bread: 10/10 The bad: where's the meat??? I had so much bread (at both ends) that had nothing but that weird tasting cheese and lettuce in between. Lay off the extra lettuce, change the cheese, add a little more meat and this sandwich could be 8/10. But for now it's a 5.5/10.

Overall: decent enough sandwich and very economical Food: 4/5 the grilled pork almost had a bacon like quality and was extremely chewy. My friend got the BBQ pork and that probably would've been better for me. The sandwich was a good balance between crunchy baguette and softness from the juices. Service: 5/5 Came out fast and they were polite Ambiance: 4/5 Gave a bit of 7-Eleven vibes. Though was fairly clean so that was good!

$6+ for essentially a cup of ice with maybe 8oz of drink. Probably will never return. Coffee was okay, just wish there was more of it.

I have been to Lee's a number of times. I always got their coffee, baguettes and croissants. I never tried their sandwiches. Today I wanted to try a breakfast sandwich. I am so glad I did. I opted for the bacon egg & cheese on a baguette. I was so good & I will definitely will be going again. Staff was very friendly & welcoming.

The service was quick, and the coffee shop was clean. When I received my drink, the cup was full of ice. I basically finished my drink in three sips.

On a road trip with a buddy and needed to charge. This spot was right next to the Tesla station so I gave it a try I've always heard of Lee's sandwiches but we don't have them up here. For a chain restaurant it is actually pretty good. Bread tastes fresh and their was plenty of meat. A lot of the times bahn mi places will short you. The only thing is that they didn't have any vinegar that I could add. Overall really enjoyed the quick sandwich.

I continued to yell back at them, explaining that there were absolutely no hash browns in my omelette and I want a refund for the hash browns immediately. The burrito itself still tasted good, so this felt more like an order mistake than a quality issue. One thing to note is they charge a fee for credit card purchases, so cash might save you a little if you come often.
