I visited this restaurant for the first time for lunch…read more This is a restaurant with a red door located on on Williams Drive directly past Estrella Crossing. The storefront is inviting. Upon entering the restaurant, it is very comfortable and feels like a nice place to be. Upon looking at their signage, they have live music! I will definitely be back for that. Upon looking at the menu, they have many yummy dishes to choose from. However, I have extreme food restrictions, and I did not see anything that I could eat because I am dairy free, processed sugar-free and gluten-free. I shared this information with my server (i'm pretty sure her name was Haley). She said, "let me go talk to the chef," and off she went! :) She came back and recommended "caprice chicken over veggies" which they would customize to my dietary restrictions. Wow, that was over and above and so comforting! She said that the caprice chicken over veggies dish came with a salad and she checked -and all of the salad dressing had sugar in it, so I told her to bring it to me plain with a little bit of vinegar on the side and she came back with a salad with dressing on it and she said that they found some apple cider vinegar they put on top and would that be OK... OK? It was perfect! I loved that she listened to me and she knew that was within my diet restrictions! Haley is a fabulous server. I told Haley that she was so good that I'm going to ask for her to be my server every time. I feel so blessed to find someplace that I can eat comfortably and be so satisfied! Did I mention they have Italian wine!?! Oh so good! My lunch was amazingly good, can't wait to get it again, the wine was really good The atmosphere was so pleasant and everyone there seem to be having a good time The service was exceptional! I highly recommend you visit!

I feel like this is due to order at the front, and waiting for the food to be brought to you. No follow-up, no checking back. If you do ask for a something, you can assume you're not getting it. We have came here a few times after being invited by friends, and the food is just poorly produce. Chicken fried steak had no flavor, Classic burger was nothing better than Burger King, but at triple the price. Got my son the chicken tender basket, and he wouldn't even eat it. He is 3. He literally only eats chicken tenders and quesadillas! They were tough, and poorly seasoned. If you're going to buy cheap quality meat, learn how to brine and tenderize. Such a great concept and so much potential ruined. If you do go, watch how many parents just have drinks from the bar, and no food while their kids run around and play. Over-price, under-whelming, and should only be considered a outdoor play place for kids with a bar.

They have a stage, screens, and even a t-ball court to accommodate everyone. The place definitely makes you feel like you are at a summer camp with the staff being super nice and always looking to help. They recently changed the interior layout to include a counter in which you place your order. The food options are all great but I would specially recommend their burgers. They add a magic touch with those sweet Texas onions and the smoky flavor on the beef. It is well priced and a great option for the weekend.

If you've ever been to The Crossover in Cedar Park, this place feels like its Georgetown cousin,…read moresame energy, same "bring the whole family and let the kids run wild" vibe, just a little more tucked away. I only stopped in for a drink, but the bartender was quick, efficient, and didn't give me that "I'm too busy to acknowledge you" look that some places love to serve before the actual drink. I ordered a double Hendrick's and tonic, and it was poured correctly: crisp, botanical, and strong enough that I knew I wasn't getting the "light‑handed lunchtime pour." No complaints there. What really stood out wasn't the drink, though -- it was the scene. Camp Briteside has this big outdoor turf area, and while I was there, it felt like a ghost of ten different activities happening at once. One corner had an impromptu soccer game, in another corner, there was beard contest taking place (don't ask me what the rules were -- I'm still trying to figure it out), and the rest of the space was filled with families, laughter, and people just hanging out like it was a neighborhood block party. It's definitely a spot built for groups -- birthday parties, team gatherings, family meetups, all of that. I've heard they host parties of 20 or more pretty regularly, and honestly, the space makes sense for it. It's casual, open, and easy to navigate. Now, would I come here on my own just for a drink? Probably not. It's a bit out of the way, and it's the kind of place that shines when there's an invite, an event, or a reason to be there. But if someone said, "Hey, we're meeting at Camp Briteside," I wouldn't hesitate to show up with a drink order ready. Overall, it's a solid hangout spot -- family‑friendly, group‑friendly, and perfect for those who like their social time with a side of organized chaos. #supportlocal

The problem was the hostess that walked by and completely ignored us, offering nothing but a disgusted look. The bartender finally noticed the 6 of us and immediately squawked: "we're closed!!!" I don't expect a lot, but a little customer service goes a long way. How about "hi folks, we are actually closed but come back anytime before 7:30pm." Or maybe even a 'Closed' sign, so as not to upset the employees. Terrible first impression. No desire to go back.

Normally I wouldn't recommend eating at the golf course restaurant, but there are some great…read moreadvantages of coming here. First off, they accommodate large groups of people. We had 13 people in our party. We had made a reservation in advance. They had setup several long tables together in the enclosed patio area. The patio is enclosed with floor to ceiling glass wall panels that allow you to enjoy seeing the outdoors without experiencing it when it's hot and humid outside. The wall panels actually slide to open, so you can take advantage of nice weather during the two weeks of year when it actually occurs in Texas. Unfortunately for us, it was August and hot and one of the panels was off its track and couldn't be closed all of the way. We asked to be moved. Staff quickly found two large rectangular tables that were horizontal to each other. We weren't all able to sit together, but we were close enough and now inside instead of being exposed to the heat. The big draw to this place is on the outside patio. The community has built a model train track and a model of the City of Georgetown which it travels around. The train only runs on certain days and at certain times, but even when it isn't in operation, you can checkout this masterpiece. It has a fence around it to protect it from being touched, but you can still get close up to it to see the details and the action. There are several buttons placed at intervals on the fence that activate areas of the "town". One plays and Elvis song on the loudspeaker for all to hear while your attention is drawn to a tiny stage where a miniature Elvis belts out the tune and swivels his hips while a crowd in front of the stage goes wild. One of the buttons is actually the old-time speaker that you would place in your car at an actual drive-in movie theater. When you press this button, a screen in the town plays a movie. You can see cars lined up in a lot to view it. There is so much more to see and enjoy and the organizers are continually maintaining and adding to the town's features. The restaurant has a varied American menu to please a wide range of midwestern palettes. I went for the classic chicken fried steak, and got to choose two sides. The hit spiced apple slices were reminiscent of TV dinners of old, and the fried okra never disappoints. Everyone's food at table one came out at the same time, except for mine. I assumed that it didn't fit in the tray and would be out with table two. When it didn't materialize, I had to wait and watch as everyone else enjoyed their meals. It was an understandable mistake since there were two of us who ordered the chicken fried steak. Someone in the kitchen probably didn't see the "2x" on the order slip or thought if it had been written twice, it might have been a mistake. Anyway, I didn't have to wait long. The staff were quick to adjust and make things happen when slight inconveniences like this happened. There is a full bar with counter seats for patrons wanting to watch the game while enjoying a cold one. It's near the door and sheltered from the patio dining areas so that those areas can have a more elevated dining experience without having to fight for attention and yell over a TV. I would happily come back here again just to checkout the train and any improvements the group has made to the city artwork. I wouldn't hesitate to grab a bite to eat too.

Fries: crispy, crunchy, hot, fresh, salty, overall great fry. Onion rings: one of the best I've had. Crispy, crunchy, hot, fresh, salty, good onion flavor. Green chile pepper burger: It can go head to head with any burger chain, Hopdoddy or Whataburger. To me it's in the same top tier of burgers. The bun has to be Martins potato bun soft nice chew with a hint of egg flavor. Toasted on both sides so they got it done right. The beef patty has to be 80/20 maybe that's why it's beefy and moist in the center. The mayo mixed with the spicy green peppers adds just layers of flavors. When you bite into it, you get the soft bun immediately you get that kick from the green peppers then you get that creaminess from the mayo, and then it all comes together with that beefy flavor from the patty. The thick cuts of pickles, tomatoes and lettuce really adds freshness that the burger needs because it's very heavy and rich. It has an umami and has that crave factor. They selected the right onions, red, the red onion goes well with the green chile. The zing from the red onions adds more flavor. The meal is not cheap to say, $15 for a burger is up in price but you get what you pay for and to me, based on the location, based on the overall freshness, it's worth it. It's worth paying a higher amount to get a higher valued meal. If you want ranch, you have to ask for it and plus no extra charge.
