I visited this restaurant for the first time for lunch…read more This is a restaurant with a red door located on on Williams Drive directly past Estrella Crossing. The storefront is inviting. Upon entering the restaurant, it is very comfortable and feels like a nice place to be. Upon looking at their signage, they have live music! I will definitely be back for that. Upon looking at the menu, they have many yummy dishes to choose from. However, I have extreme food restrictions, and I did not see anything that I could eat because I am dairy free, processed sugar-free and gluten-free. I shared this information with my server (i'm pretty sure her name was Haley). She said, "let me go talk to the chef," and off she went! :) She came back and recommended "caprice chicken over veggies" which they would customize to my dietary restrictions. Wow, that was over and above and so comforting! She said that the caprice chicken over veggies dish came with a salad and she checked -and all of the salad dressing had sugar in it, so I told her to bring it to me plain with a little bit of vinegar on the side and she came back with a salad with dressing on it and she said that they found some apple cider vinegar they put on top and would that be OK... OK? It was perfect! I loved that she listened to me and she knew that was within my diet restrictions! Haley is a fabulous server. I told Haley that she was so good that I'm going to ask for her to be my server every time. I feel so blessed to find someplace that I can eat comfortably and be so satisfied! Did I mention they have Italian wine!?! Oh so good! My lunch was amazingly good, can't wait to get it again, the wine was really good The atmosphere was so pleasant and everyone there seem to be having a good time The service was exceptional! I highly recommend you visit!

10/10 would eat again and again…read more Honestly, this review is based off of breakfast tacos alone. I never would have guessed I'd be going to a ham store for breakfast tacos, but here I am, having done so a number of times by now, because there's really no comparison to their breakfast tacos. Look, lots of folks in Texas carry breakfast tacos. Almost all are good. These, however, are GREAT! The Jedi are my favorite, I think, with the Apache a close runner up. The dragon is delicious if your tongue can take the heat. The frigas is a nice classic you won't regret. Also, my kid's pancakes have been consistent good there. Everything has been great. I should really come back for a ham sammich lunch sometime--they look good. But, meanwhile, I'll definitely be back for their tacos again soon--maybe tomorrow, because just thinking about them has me craving them again. Too bad they're closed this evening, or I'd get one now. They really are good, y'all. Just go. You won't be mad you did.

I was offered samples of all their foods to try as well. Since I felt like breakfast, I ordered the Breakfast bun and the "Delight" breakfast taco and a cup of coffee. The fist treat was that they serve "Fara" coffee and that is one of the best local brands around. The coffee station was well stocked! My food was brought to me when it came up. The Breakfast bun was pretty big and looked fantastic! Sausage scrambled with egg, great whole bacon with cheese. All on a freshly toasted in house bun. It was really good! The Delight breakfast taco is basically in house made chorizo scrambled with eggs. It comes with a small side of surprisingly good salsa. The coffee was awesome. I will definitely be back to try the lunch menu and the honey ham!

There were a few people ahead of us, but the line moved quickly, giving us plenty of time to check out the huge menu and decide what we wanted. I went with the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich, loaded with lettuce, pickles, and tomatoes, while my wife chose the Tuna Salad sandwich. Both came out after a short wait, and wow--they were fantastic! The chicken fried steak was perfectly cooked (not overdone or underdone at all), with just the right amount of fresh toppings and a great bun. Everything was balanced, flavorful, and honestly one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time. (Pro tip: their signature Dirty Sauce makes it even better if you go for it!) The price was very reasonable too. We're already planning to come back regularly--this place is a winner!

I found out the quality was great but the quantity was not. I got something with three meats and I could barely tell there was any on my sandwich. In that way, they made me feel taken care of because it was the extra mile.

Their mission is to provide employment for adults with special needs and their profits support a vocational program to empower local citizens. When you first enter the building, you see a shop with lots of beautifully crafted and interesting products. Lots to shop here, although prices are high which then again, part of the proceeds go into a good cause and the products are well made. The cafe is located at the back of the shop. We spent a little time browsing the shop before going to the cafe. The cafe itself is so welcoming and spacious! Not a great ton of seating available but there's outdoor seating area with turf, which I can see is a huge plus when cooler weather arrives. I love the signs on the wall, very motivating sayings and quotes. For food, I had the avocado toast with bacon and fried egg and an espresso. It was delicious! Price point was good and food came out hot and fresh. I noticed when we were there, the lady at the counter (presumably the manager) was addressing the patrons by name, which was such a nice touch to see. It feels like this place really cares for their customers and is an established place in the local community. Parking is free and ample spaces available when we went there on a Friday morning. I like this place so much I ended up bringing my family there the following week. Support a good cause and eat a nutritious meal at the same time. Go visit!

I went in today for my 1st time after reading about their mission and I was not expecting the level of serene and friendly service I received. I didn't even allow myself to shop the full boutique (I'll be back soon, indeed!) nor did I go into the new building across the drive with home goods, women's clothing & more. It's a gorgeous little place and I was greeted by the sweetest woman named Karen who showed me around and helped me find what I was looking for. You'll have to stop by the cafe too! I don't know what they do to make the mocha I ordered but it came in parts, my oat milk in a cute little pitcher and the chocolate espresso in my mug. It was SO GOOD before I even put the oat milk in!! Oh! And the guys in front of me ordered breakfast burritos and they seemed so excited to be able to return for them that I had to follow suit. WORTH IT. Yum! Check out my photo! I got bacon but there's a whol menu of things and if the quality is anything like those huge burritos, then you'll be in heaven! Whether you stop in for a quick coffee or find a gift for someone special, or let's be honest, even for yourself (#selfcare) , this is the place to spend your $! Every penny goes back into the special needs crew and their vocational training and the services provided to the community. Oops! I should have lead with that! It's a non-profit! Helping adults with special needs share their super powers with the world! So you're getting pampered, filling your belly, AND scoring treasures for loved ones while giving back to a great cause. What are you waiting for? Go.

Once back with the coffee, she took our orders. Our orders arrived in a timely manner. Our breakfast meals were of generous portions including crispy bacon and plenty of sausage gravy with my biscuit. Our food was to our expectations! Note: if paying with a card, the processing fee of 3% is added to your bill; no music playing as we ate-so different with the muted atmosphere compared to other "blasting" restaurants and lastly, a bit chilly inside with the overhead fans is use (yes, we are on the senior side of life). They were clearly understaffed, and the wait times were very long even though the restaurant wasn't busy. The staff themselves were sweet and polite, and I want to give them credit for being kind despite the situation. However, the food was very underwhelming. It just wasn't good, especially considering how long we waited. The quality didn't match the time or the expectation. Overall, while the service staff were nice, the slow service and disappointing food made this a place I wouldn't return to.
