This review is only reflective of the new 2026 "Hot Italian Sub", which is essentially a number 13 but heated, with sautéed onions in hot sauce and a good schmear of hot pepper relish on the bun. It's a decent sub if you want a hot sub. But I felt there was something missing. The hot onions are not adding anything but temperature heat and it is missing the sharp freshness of the thinly sliced fresh onions. Heating the meats makes it juicier or greasier depending on how one looks at this, plus, the extra grease lends to quicker bread deterioration. For a hot sub, I would stick with any version of their the Philly subs. I ate the whole regular sub, it's not bad. It just didn't hit as good as the other hot subs and I'll stick with my cold #13 instead. Now, if you're taking suggestions, let's get a Reuben in there somewhere in the line-up. read more

The food is great by the way just the fact that these people move like the sloths in zootopia, doesn't matter if I order it online or in person, what should be a 30 minute trip becomes a 1 hour excursion. Pre order, order ahead, order same day, day before, minute of, an hour early. And it'll still take an extra hour on top of that. It's ridiculous. THIS JERSEY MIKE'S SAVED THE DAY when a neighboring local restaurant (The FLAT) screwed up a catering lunch order for 40 people 35 minutes minutes before lunchtime. I called different places in a panic to get enough food to feed our 40 guests, and who knew Jersey Mike's on Woodruff Road would be the one to save the day?! They put together catering boxes quickly and provided a variety of choices. We ended up saving money by coming here in the long run and had plenty of food for our guests to have 2nds and 3rds. Went for my lunch break today, left hungry. I went to this location with my free birthday coupon. They refused to give me my sandwich without an ID. I've come to Jersey Mike's every year on my birthday to get my sandwich and get hooked on the place again. I thought y'all were the only people to get me something for my birthday, but I guess not. I was wearing a name tag, had my personal email, my debit card with my name AND im in the system and yet they refused to give me my food which was ultimately thrown in the trash, I'm sure. So...I have eaten at various Jersey Mike's locations...different cities, different years...blah blah blah...and the sandwich has always been passable...it's "fresh" for preserved deli meat and cheese...they do slice the goods right there...all except for the American cheese...and I know this can be sliced as well (because everyone has bought the white American cheese from the deli counter at a grocery store at one time in their life)...but they always go in the "back" to get it...but anyhoo...my issue isn't really with the food...it is simply average...you can't slice up plain meats and cheese on white or wheat and expect a culinary masterpiece...it's a sandwich with bagged chips and a drink... I have two issues with Jersey Mike's...the first is with a particular store and the second is with the chain as a whole... First, let's talk about Jersey Mike's on Woodruff Road...the store is lacking in table wiping and general attention to the dining area... the two times I have visited this location the tables were covered with crumbs during lunch hour and trays were haphazardly scattered on vacant tables and stacked precariously high on the garbage cans...Additionally, both times the location had an odor that reminded me of dirty feet....and what is it with the television being tuned to soap operas both times? If I wanted to watch Days of Our Lives, trust me I would DVR it and not watch it in public... Now on to my second issue...the food is "okay"...not great, but "okay"...but honestly paying close to eight dollars for a sandwich, drink, and chips that is "okay" is a stretch...there are other places with a better atmosphere and food where an entire meal including a tip could be had for eight dollars... read more

This location gets a 3 star review because the food was, as usual, delicious. The rest of this place, however, is not 3 star worthy. I had been out of town most of the week, so I picked my girls up from school. We stopped by Jersey Mikes to grab some dinner for everyone. My girls aren't really sandwich people but my wife and I are, and JM is our favorite. It was 3pm on a Friday, and there were only two other people in the restaurant. We went to order our sandwich, and I swear, the human form of a sloth was working the sandwich station. She was the slowest moving human I have ever encountered. I ordered the #7, which is a turkey, giant on wheat. The sloth groaned and proceeded to take out a piece of white bread and slice it. I said "Hey, you, Slothy, we ordered wheat!" (I didn't actually say that. I thought it.) I asked if that was wheat bread and she said, in one of those voices that sounds like it has been slowed down 100 times of it's original speed, "I thought you said white. I'm sorry. I thought I heard white. I'm sorry sir. I thought you said white, etc.." The apology was great, but how about you get out of your eucalyptus tree and make me a GD sandwich!! She meticulously sliced the bread, using 45 seconds to accomplish a job that should be done in about 5. Then the fun really began. The cheese was loaded into the slicer. This gal was mumbling with her co-worker, some old lady who probably was born around the time the meat slicer was invented, while slicing the cheese in such a slow manner, that it is entirely possible for a normal human to actually cultivate their own cheese from scratch, then slice it with dental floss before this gal was done with the cheese for my sandwich. I almost thought I was in some kind of TV show that tested the patience of people and then captured their reaction on camera. To make this long story longer... (just kidding, I wouldn't do that to you). Eventually, the sloth handed over our precious sandwich, which by the time we acquired, was dinner time, and headed home. The sandwich was delicious, but I will never be back to this location. The food is what it is. Nothing to write home about but then it is a franchise so I would say the quality is in line with what one might normally expect. The service on the other hand is HORRIBLE. I didn't even believe that service could impact a place like this, but it does. The biggest irony of this location is that they have a tip jar. Went over to pick up a couple of subs and despite the reviews on here, found the exact opposite. The staff was incredibly friendly. The place was very clean and the subs were quite good. I still find them a tad bit pricey at $8 or so for a 6-7 inch sub, but that would be up to the person paying. The meat is sliced fresh along with the cheese and there is certainly more on the sub than a place like a Subway. I found their sub tasted better as well, but of course that will be personal preference. I recommend trying them out if you are in the mood for an Italian. It was pretty darn good. read more

Horrible prices, subpar food, no service. I was in a rush, not familiar with the pricing scheme here and asked for a 2 foot longs and a 6 inch. I got 2 GIANTS and a 6 inch instead, clearly a lot bigger than a foot long. There were VERY limited options for the veggies, no black olives, no green peppers, no sub dressing. Bread was just OK. The salami still had the wrapping on it so I had to take apart the sub to remove the string on EACH piece. The people behind the counter were not at all friendly. The GIANT sizes were almost $10, no chips or drinks included. The 6 inch was over $6. For a family of four, no drinks or sides, we spent $27. We didn't get the same selection that we would have at Subway, Publix, Bi-Lo, Quiznos, or pretty much ANY sub shop. We just left literally paying twice as much and feeling ripped off. Someone should tell Mike this ain't Jersey and we expect a DECENT sub when we pay $10 for one. read more

This is my favorite sub place. Nobody can top JM, not even the Italian restaurants. And trust me, I've ate them all! Their bread is great, their topping are fresh (love the thinly sliced white onions) and their meats are tasty. I use to get the veggie sub on the rosemary parm bread, but now I get the "sub in a tub" because I eat low carb. They offer a range of sandwiches, wraps and salads (tubs) from classic turkey and provolone to buffalo chicken philly. From a "mini mike" to a "giant" there's offerings for all appetites. There are a nice selection of chips to choose from, as well as cookies and brownies. They have a regular soda machine, but it does over some more natural varieties from a popular soda brand in vanilla (cream) and root beer. Be sure to sign up for their "shore points" and rack up points for free grub. Tuesdays are ALL REGULAR SUBS $6. You can't beat that, especially if feeding your large family!! This store is an abysmal example of the Jersey Mike's Sub chain. I've visited Mike's stores elsewhere that I'd have given a good score. But this place is just poorly run. Pass it by. I've given this store the benefit of the doubt that their issues were because they were new and on the learning curve. But after two years, they just don't get it and don't care if they get it right. 1. They are the slooooowwest Mike's ever! It takes at least 20 minutes for them to get through 5 or 6 patrons, one sandwich each. I used to visit the store in Atlanta on Powers Ferry Rd where they can process twenty people in the same amount of time. That ATL store does a great business partly because they are proficient at what they do. 2. They don't keep the place clean. Tables are typically soiled and you'll have to wipe it yourself with a napkin that they begrudgingly provide...only two per customer. 3. The lettuce is ALWAYS brown and wilted. I asked for fresh lettuce, they brought out a new bin and it was worse than what they already had, so I left. Never have I encountered brown lettuce from Mike's other stores. And the disdain they express at being asked to provide fresh lettuce is reprehensible. 4. If you want a glass of water, it will cost you 35 cents for the cup and tap water. 5. As other reviewers have noted, the prices are very high for what you get. Instead, I went across the street to Publix to get a sandwich. Better price, better bread, Boar's Head deli meats and FRESH (not brown) lettuce. Just drive by this place and go to Publix. read more

I came into this location on Tuesday the 25th. I've heard a lot of great things about this precise location and decided to try out for the first time. My sandwich was amazing and the service was excellent. The only suggestion I have for you is that your employees be aware of their appearance. Love love love jersey mikes but this location is by far the worst service. The girls are soooooo slow while making your subs and just carry on personal conversations instead of paying attention to what they're doing. Last week I ordered a sub and said I just want mayo only. She said "well we suggest you do it "mikes way" I said ok well I don't eat any of that so ...again, I only want mayo...." seriously?? She then kept trying to put the "spices on it" i said "ok maybe I wasn't clear, please do not put anything but mayonnaise on the sub!!! " geez!!
