DO NOT GO TO GUILFORD! I placed an online order and prepaid for it. I took my lunch to drive and pick up my order. The guy behind the counter said, "I just gave it to some guy"... So some random person took my lunch, employee didn't check with me, it wasn't noted someone was going to pickup my lunch. I didn't get a new one made, haven't even gotten refunded for my lunch that I didn't get. 2nd time messing up my order within month and failure to make anything better. read more

I use the Jersey Mike's app to place my orders. I was a regular at the Guilford location, but noticed a drastic price increase recently. I decided to check around other locations in the app, and was surprised at what I saw. My usual sub is a Giant #9. When looking at the 7 nearest locations in the app, 5 of them price this sub anywhere between $16.75 and $17.20. I understand that prices of everything have been going up recently, but at least these 5 stores were all in the same ballpark. Two other stores (same owner) are Guilford and Branford. Their price for this sub? $21.89! If you look at add extras such as cheese and meat, even the add-ons are substantially more expensive than other area stores. Like I said, I get it that prices on everything are going up, but when one franchisee is more than 20% higher than the surrounding area, I call B.S. If I add extra meat to this sub like I sometimes do, I'm looking at a $27 sub, including taxes. My advice if you're in the mood for a JM sub.... check out the surrounding stores aside from Branford and Guilford and avoid a 20% + shakedown! read more

Such a great spot, location, you name it. When it comes to Jersey Mike's locations, well all of the ones that I have been to thus far, the employees are friendly. I feel like the ones at this Guilford location are super friendly. I've visited this location multiple times during the pandemic thus far and they have handled everything perfectly. Hand sanitizer is available, shields are up, minimal contact, no indoor seating available and following all of the precautionary measures. I typically don't tip at a place like this, but every time I check out here, I can't help myself but to do so. My husband and I always order the roast beef and provolone and add bacon and mayo to it...Mike's Way of course. Try it, you won't be disappointed. I will say, the sandwiches can get a bit pricy. I think to add bacon on a sandwich, there is like a $3 extra charge. But I mean hell, you get what you pay for. It's quality, I'll assure you that. read more

Great subs, made fresh, line moves fast, workers keeping everything clean clean clean! Beautiful new store, parking lot is a bit hard to find a spot on a Friday afternoon at lunchtime. The best sub is #8 Club Sub, ham, turkey, provolone, and bacon. Mikes way means lettuce, tomato, mayo, onions, oil & vinegar generously laid on so your sandwich is bursting. All the meats & cheeses are freshly sliced in front of you and antibiotic hormone free according to the signage, this definitely differentiates them from other sub shop competitors. read more

Today I met my grandson to drive him on an errand. As my reward lunch would be provided. Subs were ordered from Jersey Mike's in Guilford, CT. I changed the time as road construction on the way to his house took me twice as long as normal. Not a problem. When I arrived the order was all set. My grandson orders a chicken cutlet. I ordered the Stick Ball ham sandwich, with pickles. It was the best sub I have had in 50+ years and big enough for lunch and dinner. If I had one suggestion it would to skip the lettuce. We wanted to try out the new sandwich place in Guilford. When I came in the counter person snapped at me for going to the Called In First counter since we had not called in our order ahead of time. Then the counter person had heard of several sandwiches on their own menu and had to call the manager out for help. They acted like we were stupid for not knowing all the toppings that were available and were irritated at having to tell us. This is in mid afternoon with no one else in the store. But the worst was to come. One sandwich was ready in 5 minutes but not the other. After 10 more minutes waiting we went up to see why the delay. Turns out the sandwich was there the whole time but they never called us. A sarcastic "Oh sorry" from the counter person who had been looking right at us the whole 10 minutes. BIG WARNING: the owner refuses to enforce customers to wear a mask. A customer was wearing his mask under his chin, full mouth and nose exposed(continuously laughing loudly and spitting into the trash can). I asked the employee if he could please ask the customer to put his mask up and he said that the owner will not allow employees to enforce wearing a mask. read more

THESE GUYS DO NOT ENFORCE MASK RULES!! Would give a higher review for the food but people must be warned that they do not take masks seriously in there...at all. Would be willing to remove this review with an assurance from the management or owner that they will begin enforcing and taking their customer's safety seriously. They clearly do not. You need more than just flavor to keep me as a customer. I have been going to Jersey Mike's since it opened. The sandwich was always good and the service acceptable. Today was the end of that. I ordered a delivery through Door Dash. I received a little while later. Left on my door in a sealed bag with Jersey Mike tape. Great idea. I brought the bag in. Received my soda, my chips and cookies. No sandwich!! I contacted the driver who said he picked up a sealed bag and delivered it as it was handed to him. I then called JM and was told that they put the sandwich in the bag and basically called me a liar. That was followed by the repetition of "sir" in that condescending manner that actually means something profane. Point is no sandwich and a staff member basically calling me a liar just made them lose my business. Its typical of an establishment where the employees make the same regardless of what they say or if they lose customers. Since they have opened, I have spent over $2000 on sandwiches and platters for my office and clients. I was just going to let my experience ride but after reading a review where a #8 was mentioned I changed my mind. That customer describes it with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, oil & vinegar , wow. I got none of that. 2 other customers in the store, our first time there, 5 people behind the counter not counting the grill area. I asked for a # 17 I believe it was _ philly steak & cheese and a #8 and they wrote out a charge slip for the #17 and told me to take it to cashier, I asked about the #8 and was told that didn't need a slip so I paid. A few slices of meat and cheese and 3 pieces of bacon went on a small *regular* roll, next guy in line took it apart and looked it, moved the bacon and meat around, didn't see him do that to any other and then wrapped it and bagged it. They brought the philly steak out from the grill area and gave it to me along with the one the guy had taken apart...it was a #9 NOT 8 and no offer was made for lettuce or anything else. Woman offered to remake it but at that point I was ready to leave. I said #8 at least 3 times...perhaps if the music wasn't playing so loud they might have heard better and I have no idea why I was not offered the chance to add lettuce or anything else..
