I love Jersey mikes, but this location- NO. I would give negative stars if I could & no this isn't a one time problem, I've given grace with this location- been here 3 different time MONTHS between and it's the same crappy service. You aren't greeted as you walk in and you feel as if you're a bother even coming into eat although im the reason they have a job.. no business means no money means no hours... regarding this most recent visit and the reason I've decided to finally leave a review is because I've just had it. Walked in and was not greeted (typical from last time) waited 5 min to even be helped or asked what I wanted mind you there was no one upfront of me and no one was doing anything...when they finally asked what I wanted I asked are they speaking to me? I was just double checking because I had no interaction prior... I was responded with a rude "yes what do u want". I ordered my subs and as we get to the toppings I say "mikes way" when asked for the toppings. The kid looked at me as if I was stupid. I said "everything" to be clear, and when I said "everything" I meant, everything, I even waved my hand to show the entire spread of things. They decided to only put lettuce, oil and vin, and tomato not even the mikes way. So I spoke up and said "no I meant everything" they looked and just slapped the rest of the toppings on there carelessly. There is more to add but I don't want to waste more of my time. Won't be paying here a visit anymore. I believe it's a management issue because everyone there is the exact same. read more

Dirty location. Demeaning staff. Food was terrible. If you want to experience this - go the the Jersey Mike's on Grand Avenue outside Gurnee Mills. I have never been so upset about a particular restaurant but this franchised location is at the top. Wanted a refund but was offered a sub sandwich if I came back? What? Just give me my money back!!! Chase has been trying to do a chargeback - but failed. Amanda at Hellcat Subs will not honor the chargeback. The register POS is literally on top of the bacon slices. The cashier uses her iPhone and speaking on it while doing a transaction. Does not change gloves in between using the cash register and handling your sandwich. Another worker is seen scratching herself, adjusting her pants and then moving chips from the back of the restaurant to the front. Then A Loud sneeze is heard when she walks through the food prep/kitchen area. Hellcat Subs own this location. Will never set foot in this location or any other Jersey Mike's. read more

What a huge health concern with this place! While yes they slice the meat fresh... there is one slicer so the cheese and meat for your sandwich is all cut on one slicer it is NOT wiped down between orders so HUGE cross contamination. Giant sandwiches and bread made with crumbs of other bread and the meat sliced in front of you it's like an elite subway

If not for the nice guy that made my sandwich I would have left. The counters and tables are filthy. The knife used to cut sandwiches was not wiped or cleaned between uses. They just let it sit on the dirty counter. They handed us our food and never rang us out. Finally we waved over our sandwich maker so we could pay. Ordered online, received less than what I ordered. When called to try to get corrected I was scolded by the manager, and was told to take pictures of the food received to prove I wasn't stealing... When I went back after and proved that I was not stealing, I confirmed what was missing and then made it incorrectly. The young man serving up sandwiches at this location had on a FILTHY shirt. I headed over to this restaurant after a poor experience at the Waukegan location and the experience in Gurnee was not any better. Ordered 2 sandwiches. one on wheat one on white. As the employee was preparing the sandwiches, I questioned if the right meat was on the right bread, it wasn't. With "attitude" she switched the meat to the right bread, but when putting the top piece of the bread on the sandwich, that was wrong too in which I had to ask the question. They ignore when online orders come in, and wait until either you, as the purchaser, cancels the order, or until their time limit has run out and they can cancel the order themselves. Despite strong bread and initial flavors, Jersey Mikes tuna leaves much to be desired. The bread holds up under what one could call a soup of tuna salad. The strength and traditional French bread flavor could not save this sandwich from its watery demise. The flavor profile of the tuna included a pepper and vinegar combination that is usually reserved for small deli tuna, not big box tuna stores. Despite the interesting profile, the tuna was undrained and contained too much mayonnaise which made for a sloppy disaster. Skip Jersey Mikes tuna and maybe head to the shore to catch your own fresh from the ocean. 4/10 read more

Hi I go to Jerseys mikes a couple times a month. This particular one sucks. No greeting when you walk in, no conversation or expression at all really. Like they don't want to be there. Absolutely ridiculous about this place. Came Friday 6/19/20 to try their subs for the first time. They have many choices so we took our time. The guy asked us if we are ready and I said not yet. Finally we went to the counter to place our order. Not only did he ignored us, but the two guys behind him ignored us too. They weren't busy making subs but were looking for something. We just left frustrated. The next day, we decided to give them another chance. We ordered the Cancor Special. About three minutes later, the guy said they ran out of roast beef and if we wanted to order something else. We just left again frustrated. They had covered up several sandwiches on their menu board. Got a half pound of brisket, beef n cheese taco and a chicken and cheese taco. 1/2 pound was 7.95 The tacos were $2.00 each A little more than local Mexican restaurants but should have been good. The meal came out really quick. But when I saw my tacos I was ticket off. There was only a small amount of meat. Compared to my 8oz(1/2pound) of brisket there was about 1/2 of an ounce of meat on each taco and a half of a slice of cheese. Looked very pathetic and severely over priced. I go to Jersey Mike's about once a month and it's usually very good. But every time I tell them just a little lettuce they always load it up for some reason.
