I placed and paid for an online pickup order to be ready as soon as the store opened because I was hoping to get in and out quickly. I arrived right when they opened, I was actually first to arrive there and waited near the pickup counter. When I asked about my order, I was told to step out of line and wait for my name to be called. While I waited, about four customers came in after me, placed their orders in person, and received their food before mine. After waiting around 20 minutes, I checked again and it didn't even look like my order had been started yet. My order wasn't anything complicated it was just a standard menu item. When I first arrived, there were several employees behind the counter and I was the first customer there, so I was confused why my prepaid online order, which should have been first in line, wasn't being prepared. Ordering ahead ended up taking much longer than if I had just ordered in person, which was really disappointing. Also sandwich bread was chewy and hard to eat, almost felt stale. Store was very clean. Just not sure if I would try this place again though. read more

I hardly go to Subway anymore because I like Jersey Mike's so much better. I used to order the Italian, but I always select the number 7 because I am trying to eat healthier. The number 7 is a turkey and provolone sandwich that has less calories than almost all of the selections. I purchased the combo because I like to eat it fresh with my favorite soda and then take the other half home for another meal. The regular sized sub with 22 oz drink and chips is now $16.75. I love a good sub sandwich and lately the pregnancy cravings for one have been hitting hard. I recently saw a few reels on social media about the viral Jersey Mike's "Pregnancy Sub" so of course my curious pregnant soul had to try it. I've only been to Jersey Mike's one other time, so it was worth another shot. The "Pregnancy Sub" is basically a BLT on Rosemary Parm Bread, provolone cheese, "Mike's Way" with pickles, banana peppers, pepper relish, and mayo. The young man that made my sandwich was very personable and friendly, he made my sandwich with the utmost care. When I say he loaded it with bacon, I mean he LOADDDDED it. He must've looked at me and said "yup she's eating for 2." I was worried the sandwich would be messy but it was absolutely perfect. My coworker ordered #17 Philly Cheesesteak. We had them prepared Mike's way. Wonderfully simple but delicious. Greeted as soon as we walked in. Sandwiches made fast and fresh. My first experience was at the Hawaii Kai location and was not too happy with it. I decided to try it out again in Kapolei as I was craving a sandwich and I was in the area. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a nice employee. She was very friendly and welcoming. I inquired about her recommendations as I it was my second time to Jersey Mike's and wanted to know what were the favorites. She gave some good recommendations for hot and cold subs. I decided on the California Club (turkey, bacon, provolone cheese, & avocado). It was a great choice! She asked if I wanted it Mike's way which is all the fixings, oil, vinegar, and oregano. I asked for no oil and light vinegar as I didn't want my sandwich soggy. They have 3 sizes to choose from: Mini, Regular, & Large. I chose to go with the regular which was enough for me. The sandwich was fresh and tasty. The oregano gave it a good extra flavor mixed in with the turkey, applewood smoked bacon, and avo. The service was great! I would recommend this location and the girl who serviced me. I would definitely return to try a different sub. read more

I've been to this place three times and have been sorely disappointed each time. I've been to the Pearl City and Mililani locations... and their subs look so much more appetizing and they're not skimping on ingredients. First time I came, I made a phone order... and I went in to pick up. I let a staff member know I was there for pick up and was told my order wasn't ready yet. I waited another 20 minutes for my order... and when I inquired again... I was told it was on completed and on their pick up shelf along the wall. How is it that I told you my name, and was acknowledged by staff for my order... and did not even bother to tell me it was done? Second time I went... I was there when they had that event for a fundraiser I believe. Staff friendly and all... busy atmosphere. And again... skimped on the ingredients... even ordered extra cheese in my Philly sandwich, and there was no extra cheese in there... and very poorly made sandwich. I had all the food spilling out onto the wrapper making it a big mess And again, went in... to give another try. This time trying the new chicken salad sandwich. The ratio to chicken salad was pretty sad... and I have more bread than filling. And I ordered a hot sandwich. I asked for both sandwiches to be cut in half and wrapped separately. Only the chicken salad sandwich was cut in half, not the hot sandwich. Just wrapped up and put in the bag.. whole sandwich. I wasn't even asked if I wanted any topping or anything on it. In the other locations that I've been to... their sandwiches were always put well together and looked appetizing when you opened them form the wrapper. They would ask if I would like any toppings on all sandwiches I would purchase, and would prepare (cut sandwiches in half and wrap separately) my order and kindly requested. I tipped this last visit hoping it was going to be a better experience ... but so sorely still disappointed on the experience of my food from there. The last time I came the little Asian girl was awesome she had asked if we had a Membership she verified we did & even told me that if we come back again we would have enough points for a free sandwich on our next order. BUT : so we came back 2 weeks later ordered our regular 2 giant subs that we always do when we come in an the local medium set girl just looked at me and my husband an rang us up with no personality & blank stare I asked her if I could put my phone number got a slight roll of the eyes . My bill went from 40$ to 20$ one of the reasons we love having a membership a beside I love there sandwiches.. this is not the first time we've gotten horrible CS from this one person. I've heard about this place and was curious what it serves. I know they make sandwiches and wanted First hand to check it out. Upon entry, we walked up to the service counter to order... unlike the other places, they have three sizes.. small, regular, and giant. I went with regular size Italian sandwiches, i guess everything, meats are freshly cut. Which is unique. My partner had a roast beef with provolone cheese with avocado. We had the chips and drink come with our meals, which made it quite satisfying. It was not crowded, and we ate inside. Lots of seats and parking outside. There's also seating outside, if you prefer. Went to jersey mikes to get a sandwich for dinner, I was shocked to see how much the prices went up for their sandwiches. A large sub is now $20 but I got the mini which was $9 and change. Subway makes a footlong sub for around $10 or less depending on the sandwich you choose. Jersey Mike's sandwiches use to be between $16-18 depending on size you got. I personally can't afford to pay the current prices so I don't think I'll be going there anymore. read more

Jersey Mike's is one of my favorite sandwich places on this island. The Kapolei location is good as well. I would say they are not as good as the Kahala location as they don't take online ordering and the questions when all you want is the default version of a sandwich can be confusing. But the sandwiches are good and that's all that matters in the end. Glad this location is available. read more

Me and my wife absolutely love Jersey Mike subs and this specific branches customer service. The food is fresh and they are generous with the toppings. We always share the Giant Turkey and Provolone cheese with all the toppings! Parking can be a little tricky because there is a lot going on in that general area.
