I need to let you know that this location if always filthy ! really filthy ! They don't wipe the area down between sandwich making and you can see the black mold or grime under the cutting board around the edges so it looks as though they don't lift the board up ever to sanitize . The worst part is the time before I was there and a gal was wiping down a stainless steel appliance off to the side but was asked to come up to help with sandwich making and she did not change her gloves but wore the same cleaning gloves now to touch the food , I wanted to barf . So yesterday my son insisted on going there so decided one more chance but it was as gross as usual ! Please train this manager , it's so unacceptable . not all Jersey Mikes are like this . Good sandwiches no doubt. I am writing primarily because of the Service. Cannot say enough about how well they performed. Ordered on line (road trip) and they were on time as we arrived. Middle of the lunch rush and they were still helpful and accommodating. Pleasant and gracious as you would hope for. Here is where they really shine though. My daughter absolutely refuses to eat the turkey sandwich I ordered for her. I go back in to ask for a simple kids sandwich with a different meat choice, fully expecting to buy another. The manager was helping and he recognized me as have been in just 10 mons before and asked why. I explained and he gave me that dad to dad knowing grin, made the second sandwich, jumping the line a bit, and then he comped it. I mean its not anything they did wrong. Stay away from this location. Go to Jimmy John's instead. Sorry if you wanted a steak sandwich but you'll likely not get one at this Jersey Mike's anyhow. For the last 6 months they can't get their shit together at this location. Constantly out of peppers for the steak sandwiches. One time some bitchy young chick there told me they were out of onions. Meantime there's a tub of onions on the counter chiller. Multiple times now they are out of meat for the steak sandwiches. In last went there on 02/22/2024 and they were out of peppers. That was the 3rd time. I haven't been back since. I returned today and once again they are out of peppers. I'm done with them and will 100% never return to this location. Few weeks ago I was at my doctors office and a conversation started up between a few people in waiting room about how bad this location is. Then it trickled in to the front staff. Love jersey mikes never had an issue before but there was 3 people in line like 5 people working the back. We were in the front of the line and it took 20 minutes to make our sandwich's. The second one they didn't even ask what we wanted on it like they always do. They just gave us a sandwich with a bunch of stuff we didn't ask for. I am a huge fan of Jersey Mikes and this location is on point. Right off a busy street with enough parking, I found this location easily. Restaurant is large, clean and there are outlets to charge your phone (which I did while I enjoyed my lunch). I came at the right time. One person ahead of me and within minutes, 10+ people were behind me in line. I ordered the regular Original Italian on white bread, Mikes way of course. It was fast, fresh and staff is so friendly. They thought it'd be funny to make ALL THREE sandwiches completely dry without any condiments at all. Used to come here at least once a week and had no problems. Yesterday went for a sandwich and a sub in a tub (sandwich ingredients with no bread). Food still tasted good but the following issues. No roast beef, no iced tea. Okay. But why are you selling salad type food if you don't have any forks? a couple came in carrying a small dog. The worker behind the counter greeted them like friends. Note no other patron got this greeting. Dogs are not allowed in food places unless they have a specialty like a guide dog for the blind or other support animal. Stopped in Kingman for a quick bite. Didn't have a lot of time for a sit down resultant but that would have been faster than jersey mikes. Hot sandwiches took forever. Sandwich was good but the meat looked like it was frozen and then heated. With making such a big deal about slicing the meat in front of the customer you would think it would be freshly sliced too. Sandwiched come whole and can be harder to eat. Would have been nice to slice in half or ask which way a customer would like it. Just a suggestion. read more
