What a pleasant surprise for a return trip from vegas a slight out of route stop for great food. They have a large dining area, large bar, and outdoor patio when its not 100+ outside. I got the cheese teak and it was massive. My wife got the green chile burger which I ate half. I am not a total fatty so only ate a bit of my cheese steak and took the rest home, but both were amazing. They have a good beer, cider, and seltzer selection. Service was great and the waiter explained how they get great meat for bbq that they incorporate into their burgers and sandwiches which explains why it was so damn tasty. I could tell there are lot of locals and had a good community feel. Some dude was having a business lunch with hos underlines and kept offering to buy other people drinks on the business account as well as invites to theor 3th of July party (yes this visit was a while ago but clearly memorable. Only con is its not right off the highway but it wasnt too far and worth a few extra miles. They did have a juke box but not sure if they have other forms of entertainment however I wouldnt be surprised if they did. Definitely worth a stop on a road trip ir if your hunting for gold in Kingman. read more

The service was exceptional! The vibe is eclectic in this craft house. We had the juncos rancheros, eggs Benedict and the ham steak breakfast in our group. A Bloody Mary, a craft beer and a Diet Coke respectively. Everything had good flavor. If I could change anything it would be the ham steak was a bit salty. The hollandaise sauce broke and the ham on the Benedict was a bit minimal. The hue is rancheros was the star of our show here today!! Give it a try! Well...I'm visiting Kingman and tried this place. The ambience was the feeling of more a sports bar...semi-loud but not obnoxious. The bar itself is HUGE, first and foremost. There are many tables and hi-tops inside. Outside is a very large patio with additional seating and live music. I really wasn't very hungry but tried the spinach and artichoke dip. Honestly was t very good. Appeared to be packaged and thrown in the microwave..it was served with both tortilla chips and pita bread, but nothing to write home about. I did see and smell other people's choices and the baked beans smelled amazing. Wednesdays are wing night so wings are $.75 a pop...but I'm not really a wing girl. East location with ample parking...again lots of regulars and a bike club was there for the music. Overall a good experience if you're visiting! read more

I completely recommend. Food was very delicious. We had burgers, sandwiches, and salad and all tasted very fresh and flavorful. Their onions rings were on point! Only reason it's not a 5 star is due to the long wait on the service. The waitress and servers were very polite and welcoming. the excessive wait was not on their lacking but probably short staff or a busy hour. It's a small city so maybe it's normal. For us It was a pit stop on our way to grand canyon and weren't expecting to be there 90 min. The place has a nice outdoor patio . the patrons were not rude but we did get some long stares when we walked in and while we sat in our table. If I could give this restaurant negative five stars, I would. I've been a longtime customer, dating back to when this location was the Hot Rod Cafe and through Mike's ownership of The Kingman Craft House. During those years, the restaurant became one of my favorite places to eat. The food was consistently excellent, portions were generous, and meals arrived hot and fresh. Since the recent change in ownership, my experience has been completely different. The quality of the food has noticeably declined, the portions have gotten much smaller, and it's become common to wait 20 to 30 minutes for food that arrives barely warm--or completely cold. The biggest disappointment is what used to be their signature French Dip sandwich. It was once served piping hot with melted cheese and a generous metal cup of rich au jus for dipping. Now the sandwich comes without cheese unless you pay extra, and the au jus is served in a tiny shallow dish with barely enough for a few bites. The sandwich itself lacks the flavor and quality that made it a customer favorite. Unfortunately, what was once one of Kingman's best restaurants no longer lives up to the reputation it earned. The value simply isn't there anymore. Paying more while receiving less--in both quality and quantity--is frustrating. I've also noticed many longtime customers choosing to dine elsewhere because they've had similar experiences, and are referring to it as "The Crap House."That's disappointing because this restaurant used to be a place I'd enthusiastically recommend to friends and visitors. I genuinely don't believe current ownership listens to customer feedback, or will return to the standards that made this restaurant successful in the first place. Until then, I can't recommend it, and I won't be returning. Neither will any of our group of friends. There are other much better options in Kingman. read more

Everytime I visit family and friends in Kingman we make it a point to check out any new local food spots. We've been waiting for the Craft House to open as it took over the spot of another local restaurant that we enjoyed and we've heard that it's owned by another local business owner with another successful food spot. My friend and I rolled in around noon on a Friday and the place was hopping. We sat at the bar and when the bartender had a chance to breathe she grabbed our drink order. I felt bad because the place was slammed and she was by herself behind the bar. She did hey best to keep up but I felt like all she did was apologize to everyone for being so behind. We were understanding but it did take a while to get a menu so we could place a food order. I ordered the garlic burger and my friend ordered the smash burger. Our food came out in a fairly reasonable amount of time and was pretty decent. I'll be honest, my favorite part of my meal was the fries. They were crispy and flavorful and fluffy, perfect fries. My burger on the hand was just okay. It didn't have much of a garlic flavor, was slightly undercooked for what I ordered, and at one point I got a mouthful of bitter arugula which had been clumped up in one spot that was unpleasant. My friend commented that she enjoyed her burger but her side of Mac and cheese stole the show. She said she could tell it was homemade and it was very flavorful. The inside of this spot is very clean and has lots of natural light during the day and good overhead lighting. I enjoyed the music they were playing and it wasn't too loud, which is great for holding conversation. Overall the feedback I have for this business is to keep working out the kinks. They haven't been open long so there's going to be a few kinks in the system and that's okay. Give your bar a second tender during lunch hour and maybe add some more garlic to your garlic burger. For folks who are considering stopping in for lunch on their break from work, I'd wait a little bit for this crew to get their feet under them. We were there for two hours total and most of that was spent waiting for one thing or another. That being said, we'll definitely be back in the future to see how they improve over time. Give them some grace folks, they just opened and are still figuring things out. I'm looking forward to seeing them again. read more

Traveling through kingman, found this place. GREAT beer selection, wine was relatively cheap and drinkable. Had the fish tacos--excellent. Crunchy, full of flavor, including jalapenos, spicy mayo, cabbage, pickled onions, crispy battered fish.
