When ordering my sandwich, I politely requested no lettuce. Instead of simply honoring my request, Bree began explaining why their lettuce was safe despite recent parasite concerns. I responded, "Ma'am, I just don't want the lettuce." Bree then became upset, walked away from preparing my sandwich, refused to finish my order, and told a coworker to make it instead. I explained to the coworker that all I had done was request no lettuce and that I did not want a lecture about it. I asked for Bree's name, but the employee would not provide it, so I requested the manager. Danny handled the situation professionally, and I appreciate his courteous response. Another great Jersey Mike's experience! Ordered online along with my wife and headed on over. I pulled up about 7 minutes before the estimated 25 minutes. Our Big Kahuna and Famous Philly were on the griddle and going strong. There was a group of 5 or 6 kids working well together and each had a role. Nobody sitting around. And as usual, our food was given to me steaming hot and ready to eat; if I dared! I have had similar experiences at Jersey Mike's all over the RDU; at least 10-15 stores. Jersey Mike's is just my fav! Bread and meat are always fresh and you get a decent amount of meat. I definitely always get my cold subs Mike's way, and add jalapeños...soo good. I came to the store a couple days ago and when I got in I was ignored for 15 minutes, all of the employees were in the back giggling on their phones. I overheard talk about the manager selling drugs to his underaged employees but I didn't think much of it. Ordered a tuna sandwich today the bread was so soggy I couldn't eat it. The tuna couldn't be found in the sea of mayo that soaked the bread. When I commented to the person making the sandwich about the soggy tuna, he dropped his head. I'm thinking he was following the supervisor/manager's instructions. When they get your sandwich right, the sandwiches are great. The problem is that you have a 50/50 chance of them getting it right if you order for pickup which we always do. The girl who is in charge seems to be part of the problem because I'm not being hyperbolic, but today was the 6th time my sandwich was wrong. I've gotten mad in the past after driving home and finding my sandwich being wrong blaming myself because I did not check while I was there. I'm a no mayo guy. If there's mayo on it, I cannot eat it. Same thing happened today. Checked it when I brought it outside, walked back in after finding mayo on the sandwich that wasn't supposed to have mayo. Girl in charge said they'd remake it. Got the sandwich, walked outside and it was wrong dang sandwich. They made the wife's sandwich with no mayo. I'm done with this Jersey Mike's location. I'll try the Wendell Falls one. When you walk into this place, it feels like 'everybody knows your name.' I felt this way even before I became what I consider a 'regular'. The staff is always friendly and engaging. I just had the worst experience I have had at a Jersey Mikes. The customer service, and way they handled a slight backup was unacceptable. 1. We tried to order online. But got an error. 2. Called in our order. We were old they were out of bread, and it would be 45 min. We placed order anyway. 3. When we arrived to get our subs, only one was ready because they had used all the bread (we waited 45min for), and they only had wheat. (Also waited 20min in the store).. that's over an hour now for sub... and STILL no bread. 4. Settled on wheat bread...got home and the bread is stale and gross. This is a $13.00 sub, that I waited over an hour for. Very disappointing. We were patient and waited... we placed our order the proper way... it was 8pm on a Thursday. Not even a weekend. My wife and I were so happy when Jersey Mike's opened in the area. Because of coupons sent out in the area, they were packed the first couple of weeks. However, the service was quick and excellent. The staff definitely knows what they're doing. The food is the great quality you expect from Jersey Mike's. I took my 3 year old son with me to pick up dinner for our family. The person slicing the meat asked if my son liked pepperoni. When I answered that my son does like pepperoni, the person gave him a nice big slice. I've never had that happen anywhere. I will never eat at this place again. They are nasty and they are very rude! I went there earlier today and ordered 2 subs. As the manager was cutting my turkey another girl was wiping down the counters and pepper shakers with a nasty wet looking rag. Then the manager took my two subs and placed them right on the counter where the girl had just wiped at with the nasty wet rag. So I told them I didn't want those subs and asked could they make me new subs and place the paper down first because she just wiped the counter with the nasty wet rag. The girl told me that the rag was just dipped in disinfectant but I told her I didn't care and it was still unsanitary because even though the rag was dipped in disinfectant it still had germs on it from everything she wiped down and honestly I don't want to ingest disinfectant either. So then the manager tells me "if I don't like it I can go somewhere else straight like that". He said since I was being sentimental I can go elsewhere. I told him I was not being sentimental but I don't want to eat those subs because they were placed directly on the counter where the girl had just wiped it with a nasty wet rag. This was a horrible experience and this guy said he was the manager. I will never eat here again and I am going to make it my mission to expose this nasty establishment as much as possible. read more

Used to love JM's Knightdale. Last night spent $28 for three subs and they had very little meat in them. $9 for a steak sub and l literally had two inches of roll with no steak. I don't mind paying more for better quality and quantity but this wasn't it. read more
