First I asked of of the 'butchers' to cut a piece of salmon that was sold by the pound in half, and that I wanted to buy only one half. He said he could not of that, but that I could buy one of the pre-cut pieces. The one he suggested had the skin removed and cost $10 per pound more than the one I wanted. I like the skin on and did not want to pay the extra charge. I left without purchasing any salmon. Then I asked another 'butcher' to trim a tenderloin steak and butterfly it for me. I told him that I agreed to pay for the pre-trimmed weight. Well, he really did butcher it. What was left bore no resemblance to a 'steak'. It was ragged (like it had been cut with a butter knife). He butterflied it about 1/4 in from opposite sides and left a large cube of meat in the middle. Unfortunately I did not notice this until I got home. My wife thought i had purchased hamburger meat. I have generally had a good experience when shopping at Publix, but this was a disaster.

Absolutely horrible establishment... I'm personally a big fan of jersey mikes and honestly love the food but this location is in absolute shambles. When I went to order my food the lady at the front was super rude and gave me a lot of attitude because I didn't know what I wanted. After I asked for some time to look and see what to get, she walked to the back and proceeded to talk with the other employees about me. After I ordered it took 10 minutes for them to even start making my sandwich. Will not be eating here again. read more

One small meal at FG generally translates to at least 2 caloric meals during the day, add fries and it can be the entire day's worth of caloric intake. The burger here was great, I specifically did not order fries (watching calories as much as I can considering the circumstances). While we found a clean table to sit at, there were several table tops that had not been cleaned off, thus the reason for the 3 star review.
