Right away, she kindly explained that because of how busy they were, we would need to continue ordering in order to keep our table. Completely understandable considering it was the WORLD CUP FINAL! We also noticed they had signage throughout the restaurant explaining the same policy, so expectations were very clear from the start. My husband and I own a restaurant ourselves, so we tend to notice the little things when we're out. We were both so impressed watching Kat run around the entire restaurant making sure everyone was taken care of, refilling waters, checking on tables, helping the staff, and jumping in wherever she was needed. And somehow doing all of it in heels! Since there were only two of us and we were seated at a four-top, they occasionally sat other guests in the two empty seats at our table. Kat asked us every single time if we were comfortable sharing before seating anyone, which we really appreciated. It was incredibly busy, so we completely understood them wanting to make use of every available seat. Our server, Ryan, was also wonderful and attentive, especially considering how packed the place was! At one point, we watched Kat have to ask the table next to us to leave after they had closed out their check and apparently planned on staying for the rest of the game without ordering anything else. They were extremely rude to her and even shoved the booth table as they were getting up, which was completely unnecessary. She handled the entire interaction calmly and professionally despite their behavior. As restaurant owners ourselves, we know how difficult situations like that can be, especially during a huge event when you have people waiting outside for a table. And the food!! We had their pizza and it was TO DIE FOR!!! Seriously so good. Between the food, the service, and how well the staff handled such an insanely busy day, we had a fantastic experience. Kat and Ryan were great, and we will absolutely be coming back to The Spot next time we're in town!

The staff at this place is genuinely exceptional. They are incredibly warm, welcoming, friendly, and efficient. As someone who works across the street, I find myself having lunch here several times a week. It's uncommon to encounter an entire staff that operates so seamlessly and treats customers with such kindness. I love this place. The people that work there are very nice and told me to try #13 the Italian. I did and it was delicious. They cut their own meet and cheese in front of you and make it how you want. They do a lot for local charities too because I have seen them donating around town to high school sports and stuff. I am going to have them cater my next get together cause it is so good. read more

All the ingredients worked well together and tasted great. I was pleased that the whole wheat bread did not have a dry texture as I have experienced in the past. The bread was noticeably softer and had a better moisture level. It was tasty, too! The hospitality was good. I did not receive that traditional "welcome to Jersey Mike's" when I walked in so I said to employees which made them laugh. The service was efficient, too.

It was clean and well-kept unlike another local branch of this chain business. A board on the wall to the right of the service counter listed the available sauces along with a brief description of each one. The menu board hung behind the counter with wings, sandwiches, and tenders as the categories. You could order a la carte or in combos. I picked a combo of three chicken tenders with hickory smoked BBQ sauce. The combo included a choice of french fries (my pick) or veggie sticks, a fountain drink, and a dip (ranch was my pick). The food was fried fresh which I appreciated even if it took a few minutes longer. The tenders had a thick crust to them and weren't as large as the pieces I have seen elsewhere. The sauce was applied generously and was very sweet. The $9.99 price was reasonable for such a combo. I gave a 3.5 star rating for this visit to Wingstop.

The service is head and shoulders better than any other fast food place I've ever visited. And this particular store is better than any other location I've tried both in and out of San Diego. The food is consistently good. The milkshakes are the best around. And though prices may seem a little high, the freebies and promotions I've experienced bring down the cost considerably. I trust them keeping my credit card information on file. Doing so allows me to order ahead as I'm leaving the house. My order is almost done by the time I make the 20-minute drive. Downside? Never open on Sunday. A few items like the potatoes are underwhelming and over priced, but there is a respect for quality and integrity here that just doesn't, never has, and likely won't ever exist at another fast food chain. Chick-fil-A is my top choice for fast food and this location is my top choice for the franchise. Hats off for doing a great job!
