that was after using several napkins to try and dry it

worst jersey mikes i have ever been to and have always loved it and workers were mad as soon as we walked in about us putting trash in a trash can because they said it was for the drip in the ceiling and then followed that with soaking my sandwich in vinegar and refusing to give a refund and hungup when i called to get a refund.

    #13 The Original Italian

I've always really liked Jersey Mike's and at this particular location the guys working here are super friendly and cheerful whenever I've come in. I've ordered both in person and through the app, and I've never really had any trouble either way. I did have one time when I ordered on the app and requested rosemary parmesan bread but got white bread instead. It wasn't a big deal though and I still ate my sandwich but it was just one thing to note. I usually order the Original Italian ($9.25), but I've also tried their Chipotle Chicken Cheese Steak ($9.25). Personally, I like to stick with the original Italian because the one time that I got the cheese steak, it tasted a little bit too salty for me. It was still good though, but I would prefer the original Italian over the cheese steak. I don't know if it's just that sandwich or if it's more with the hot subs in general that's saltier than the other ones. The subs were always prepared pretty quickly and since I work nearby it's easy to just quickly stop in and pick up my order. Out of the many time's I've come in here I've only had it go wrong once, just with the type of bread, it's not like I got a completely different sandwich from what I ordered. The guys here are super friendly, and have overall good vibes.

Empty store at lunch time mid summer

UPDATE owner called me and apologized and is making up for it. Glad he was responsive to the issue! I love Jersey Mike's but this location is pathetic. The older blonde manager was terrible, had zero knowledge of birthday rewards telling me to show my email which I did. Even showing her how points have changed, I never received my free sub via email or points. She acted like I was mentally retarded. She doesn't know your own reward program then said mine is expired. Later I have another customer. EXCUSE ME?????? The lady will make me never come to this location again. For working at Jersey Mike's she gave off a aura of entitlement and her workers of incompetence. I am owed a free sandwich and this lady needs to be retrained, it's no wonder they are empty at lunchtime, second bad experience here in this store.

People with Dogs and dogs and dogs keep coming into this sandwich restaurant while I'm eating, I thought it's a health hazard to bring animals into a place where food is handled, and none of the employees seem to care Or say anything about it. Not even a sign to keep them from coming in I guess I just need to stop coming into this jersey mikes for lunch!

    She's making my sub.

I stopped in this Jersey Mike's location prior to a locale Yelp event. I decided to try their turkey, avocado, bacon, and provolone sub on white which came nicely wrapped in their signature paper. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/jersey-mikes-subs-la-jolla?select=LuzjaHU70acVrtD4D-KnoA#z5ciOXCg6JPV3SsATD7HIQ) Love that! The sub came on a nice moist roll (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/jersey-mikes-subs-la-jolla?select=LuzjaHU70acVrtD4D-KnoA#hjJtWyovFWiuZjJwk-Y73g) and let's just say they did not skimp on the ingredient. It had a moderate amount fresh turkey, stacked high with lettuce, slice tomatoes, and a healthy slathering of avocado spread. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/jersey-mikes-subs-la-jolla?select=LuzjaHU70acVrtD4D-KnoA#A4zeFTWHVFHc4tIzyIWKJA) An extra layer of cheese would of been sincerely welcomed! The sub was great and the oil and salt, pepper, and herb dusting brought the sub together well. (http://www.yelp.com/biz_photos/jersey-mikes-subs-la-jolla?select=LuzjaHU70acVrtD4D-KnoA#2YbRyqItlPcyfLHwd-zP0A) The bacon was very crispy and had great flavor. A good tasty sub, no doubt. One thing that caught my attention was the up beat but well mannered service I experience. The girl who made my sub had a good personality and a good sense of humor. The young man who was working at the time I was there was very helpful and sincere. I love a good sub..

    #9 club supreme

After getting coupons in the mail and newspaper for months, I finally tried Jersey Mike's today. For being a chain, I was pleasantly surprised by the awesome service and tasty food. Service: When I first walked in, I was greeted right away. Mel was super friendly and very helpful in recommending various subs to me. She was also super fast! I have never seen anyone make a sub so quickly. I mentioned that to her and she said that she just loves what she. (I think she's perfected her craft!) You don't find too many people with such a positive attitude about their job (especially in the service industry), so I really appreciated her positive energy and her friendliness. Food: I got the #9 Club Supreme (regular size) and it was filled with lots of roast beef and turkey. The bacon was also very crispy. I'm so used to bacon in subs that have been sitting out for so long, it's almost like leather. The bacon here was perfectly crisp. I got my sub Mike's way and it looked like a lot of oil and vinegar when she put it on, but when eating it, it was the perfect amount. The bread wasn't soggy at all and I could tell it was baked fresh. I really enjoyed my sub. My husband had the chicken parm and enjoyed it as well. Parking: Free 20 min parking in the Sunset garage right next to it ~ I didn't realize this until after I found a spot on the street. Discounts: Pricing is higher than your average sandwich shop, but they have coupons all the time. I had a coupon from ages ago and it didn't have an expiration and it still worked. They often have coupons in the mail or local newspaper. If you sign up for their frequent buyer club (just give them your phone number), you get a free sub after purchasing 12. I'll definitely be back to get another sub from Jersey Mike's again soon!

For a large you'd definitely get full. The dressing consistency wasn't totally free-flowing liquid, it was a bit gelatinous but maybe bc of the ingredients! Still tasted good. Wish there was an additional ingredient in this salad that would make it pop, because the strawberries inside were still as mellow as the other things inside. I love salad but this just didn't blow me away. The service is quick and kind! One con is that there's a lot of flies when we sat outside, and also right next to the entrance inside... The biggest challenge is deciding what to order because I want to try everything. I usually start with a cup of chowder and then choose either a plate, burrito, or sandwich. Most recently, I ordered the scallop burrito, which was fresh, flavorful, and served with tortilla chips. The food is simple, but the quality of the local, wild-caught seafood is the main reason to eat here. You can taste the freshness and quality of the fish, which is what you're paying for. It is on the expensive side, but the seafood is worth it. The dining experience is casual. You stand in line to place your order, receive a number, and then the food is delivered to your table. The restaurant is usually busy, so finding a table can be the most difficult part, but it's worth waiting for. The customer service is good, and the staff does an impressive job keeping the tables clean and cleared. If you prefer to cook at home, you can also purchase fresh fish from the market. That gives you the option to enjoy their seafood at home or dine in. Overall, El Pescador is a must-visit for fresh seafood and a great choice for anyone who appreciates high-quality, local, wild-caught fish.

She loved her sourdough but said it was super salty. I don't think she'll be back unfortunately.
