Animal fries no spread
Abel T.

In-N-Out Burger Came in today and kept it pretty simple at first, got a protein burger no spread, then decided to go a little crazy and added animal fries with no spread basically grilled onions and cheese. This time they kinda skimped me on the cheese and the grilled onions, but I did pull up close to closing so I'm not really gonna ding them for that. Food was still solid. Quick tip though, if you get the cheese fries, eat them immediately. Don't wait. Honestly don't even take pictures maybe one and that's it. Once the cheese cools down it turns into a blob. Not bad, just how it is, but way better hot. Overall, like always, five stars. In-N-Out is my favorite service is always great, and the place stays clean. And if it's ever not, just let them know and they'll take care of it right away. #InNOut #ProteinStyle #AnimalFries #FoodRun #LateNightEats #SimpleAndGood

Two Double-Double's, and two Single's. Fries both plain and animal-style, no onions.

A round of applause for my first In-N-Out Burger experience, that 100000% was worth the hype! After a full day of theme-parking, I purposely planned a stop at In-N-Out. I quickly learned I was not the only one with the same idea. The original In-N-Out I had planned to visit, closer to the theme park we were visiting, had a wait time of over an hour. As hungry as we were, we took our chances and began driving towards our hotel when I came across this location. The wait was long, but comparable to an hour; the line at this location moved relatively quickly. Our total wait time for the drive-thru was around 30 minutes. What impressed me most about how quickly the line moved at this In-N-Out was the level of customer service provided despite how busy they were, and how late in the day it was. The person who took our order and the person who greeted us with our food at the window were both really helpful. The drive-thru attendant offered us stickers and an In-N-Out paper hat after we expressed that it was our first visit. Were the burgers everything I thought they would be? Yes! I tried to go with a classic order to sample a bit of everything they are known for. My order included a double-double with fries, animal-style (no onions), and a strawberry milkshake. The entire meal was spectacular! The fries were crisp and paired perfectly with the gooey cheese spread. The strawberry milkshake was divine! I rarely eat two-patty burgers, but this one smacked. The buns, the cheese, the sauce - it just HIT all the right notes, especially after a long day at a theme park. And not just for me, this dinner was a hit with our whole crowd!

The best burger ever! I usually order the protein style double-double, extra tomatoes, onions and lettuce with pickles. Of course never forget the spread and the chilis on the side. We love in-and-out!

You can't miss with a double double! In-N-Out Burger is a California classic. A simple menu but lots of variations and even a secret menu. I always get protein style without the bun. The burger is wrapped in lettuce for a healthier option. Prices are decent and well below other garbage fast food prices. The parking lot at this location is a little bit tight, and the line for the drive-through is always long, but worth the wait!

We are from the Great Plains, so we only have a chance to come to In-N-Out Burger when we are on vacation. Which is just as well, since honestly it's not that great of a place and I would not eat it on a regular basis. The burgers are good, but there are no options for people who don't eat beef. And that's fine, that's their thing, but most burger places do serve some kind of thing that's not a hamburger. Well...they have the fries. And the fries...they are not good. You can see them being made, it all looks fine. And then you get them and they are somehow not hot, and they are dry, and they are unseasoned. There's a reason people order them "animal style" and it's because they aren't very good otherwise. The burgers are good, though, and I am a big fan of the small pickled hot yellow peppers that are available there (for free) by the ketchup dispenser. It's got that cool retro feel, the staff members are nice, and from what I understand it is a good company to work for, and I appreciate business that do that. So I will probably go to one again next time I am on vacation, and hope I will remember to do the "animal style" fries.

My first time going to In-N-Out burger & wasn't really worth the hype. The burger is decent, but the fries tasted stale. 5/10 overall

The one with two patties is the one modified with the instructions on the review ;)

No need to write a review here. IYKYK! However, I want to share my personal favorite modifications in case anyone else wants to give it a try! Double single (two patties - one cheese or three by two if you like more meat; I like the cheese slices to be one fewer than the number of patties not to overwhelm the taste of the meat) Extra toasted buns Add ketchup Add mustard Add chopped raw onions And for fries: Add spread and caramelized onions (not cheese: unlike the animal style) My second favorite for both is the animal style, but you have probably tried it already. The above modifications will give you a happy medium between the legendary In-N-Out taste and McDonald's taste! So, give it a try and see how you like it!

Full disclosure: I'm not a fan of In-N-Out Burger. But this doesn't keep me from taking out-of-town guests to one when they ask, which i did with my two eldest grandsons last Sunday here. First, the parking is a mess, and the drive-thru line blocks access to/from most of the spaces. Second, this is a very small In-N-Out with quite limited indoor and outside seating. We ordered pretty quickly, and then hovered over tables waiting for a 4-top to clear while our order was prepared. Everything came together at the same time! BTW my grandsons enjoyed their burgers. Mine was overcooked (as usual) and the fries were cold.

They apparently have happy hour all day on Sundays. I tried the peach mocktail and it was very yummy, so I appreciated the $5 off. For dinner, I ordered the branzino (the one on the menu and not the special). I was told while the one on the normal menu was $47, the special was $55 and the only difference between the two was the special would be lit on fire table side. I didn't feel the flames were necessary, so I skipped that. (However, the special did mention a sauce that I'm not sure was actually on the regular one, so I don't actually know.) A few minutes before the food came out, they asked if we wanted it all together or if it would be ok for my husband and our friends food to come out first since they were still finishing my fish. I said to just bring it out when it was ready, however they ended up bringing it out together anyway. The confusing part though, all of our meals weren't served warm? You'd think if they were waiting on mine to be done it would have been at least warm? It wasn't. The branzio was very plainly seasoned, tasted heavily of oil and was also somewhat dry? I got it with the whipped sweet potatoes, which was very creamy, which was unlike any way I've ever had sweet potatoes before, but they didn't taste particularly good? We each tried them and none of us could figure out what it was like, but we all agreed we didn't enjoy them. My husband got the arrecherea, it was fine, but also cold. The fries it came with was probably the best part, they were crispy even while being cold. Our friend got the stuffed Mediterranean Stuffed Pepper, his meal also wasn't warm, and he said some of the rice wasn't cooked all the way and it was hard. We also got the Puccia Bread & Spreads after seeing positive reviews. I normally love feta cheese, but the feta dip was kind of sweet? Same with the eggplant. The only spread that was good was the butter. Personally, I thought the bread was fine? But it was almost a bit doughy. Overall, we weren't very impressed with the meal. It had a lot of potential, but the food just didn't hit the mark.

Rocky's Burgers is a casual burger spot located in Pacific Beach, known for its juicy burgers,…read moresimple menu, and convenient location in a busy beachside area with a laid-back, local vibe. Pros: I got the half-pound burger with fries and it was really good overall. The burger was super juicy, well-cooked, and had that classic hearty, satisfying taste you want from a solid burger spot. The portion size was generous, especially with the half-pound patty, and the fries were a great side to round out the meal. The location in Pacific Beach is also a big plus. It's in a great area with lots going on, so it's easy to grab food and walk around afterward or make it part of a beach day. The overall vibe of the spot feels casual and fitting for PB--nothing overly fancy, just good comfort food done right. Cons: Since it's in a busy beach area, parking and crowds can be a bit of a challenge depending on the time you go. It's more of a casual grab-and-go or quick dine-in spot, so don't expect a sit-down restaurant experience with a lot of space or quiet seating. During peak beach hours, it can also get pretty busy. Verdict: Overall, Rocky's Burgers is a great spot in Pacific Beach if you're craving a juicy, satisfying burger in a fun beachside area. The half-pound burger and fries hit the spot, and it's a solid choice for a casual meal before or after hanging out in PB.

Service was great. Waitress was holding the place down by herself very impressively…read more I got the famous rosiemac burger double patty and it was very delicious however I think the cheese may have overpowered it and I think next time I would choose one without the cheese completely. Onion rings were ok. Nothing to rave about honestly. The seasoning on it made them seem nicer but I think it just took away from a good ol fashioned onion rings, they also added a seasoning to the ranch to pair with the onion ring and I wasn't a huge fan. Next time I definitely want to try a different burger and opt for the elote fries or no fries at all. I'm just happy to finally be able to cross this place off my list of must tries, lol.
