The service was very friendly and knowledgeable, encouraging me to start with a comfortable spice level but come back and try something new. Be aware that anything about Hot requires a waiver to sign and for good reason, it's not called Blazin' Hot for nothing. The chicken is incredible, well seasoned, moist and cooked perfectly. It's absolutely delicious topped with the house sauce and accompanied by the seasoned waffle fries. I started with Medium and as someone who has an affinity with spicy food, it wasn't that spicy but had a good kick to it. I will try Hot next time. The slider combo came with two sandwiches was decently portioned for the price. The fries were cooked well although they weren't all crispy as I had a few that were soft. The seasoning is a nice touch and something I would love to replicate at home and it pairs nicely with the chicken. I will definitely come back for more of this mouthwatering chicken and to climb the spice ladder.

The staff was aware of the wait and actually acknowledged it, apologizing in a genuine and friendly way. That kind of customer service goes a long way. Everything came out hot and tasted like it had just been made. The chicken was crunchy on the outside, tender inside, and the portions were generous. The fries were hot and crispy with that soft center you want. Even the sodas were mixed well and tasted great. After being on the road all morning, it really hit the spot. More likely, we will spot one during the summer road trip, covering thousands of miles in multiple states. This past summer 2022, we happened upon one while heading out of Louisiana towards the Florida panhandle, it was lunchtime, and my kids always seem to like ice cream... So... We got off the highway towing a 25 foot camper trailer, and started looking for the location. This particular Freddys is a good few miles off the main highway, very close to the University, and smack dab between what appeared to be some kind of student housing and a strip mall that seems to be on the downhill slope of its life cycle. I have to laugh a little bit when I read the reviews that referred to experiences here with descriptions like "it was the worst thing that's ever happened to me in my life." Lol! If an order mishap at a fast food joint is the worst thing that's ever happened to you, then truly I envy your life. Or maybe you need to get out more... Anyway, not sure how many Michelin stars this Freddy's location has received? But they made a pretty good burger served in a paper box. Washed it down with a big fountain drink and topped the whole thing with a chocolate custard. I enjoyed this culinary masterpiece sitting in my truck. Did what it was supposed to do-- tie me over until our camping bbq dinner for a nominal fee. Of course we'll stop at a place like this again; We always do -- and who knows? What I really DID NOT like tho was when I ordered, I asked for small fries and a small drink because I don't eat much. I expected it to be lower in price since I'm asking for less but it was THE SAME PRICE as the medium and the cashier failed to tell me there was no price difference. I don't understand how getting less is the same price for the medium it comes with. They need to tell you it's the same cause I would have just stuck with the medium and got my monies worth. I mean, look how small the fry is that I got. If I knew the medium was the same price....... Knowing what I know now, I'd probably give this place another shot as it did taste good. I'd also ask a lot more questions so I can make sure I'm getting what I pay for.
