Ewww. Not because the food is gross. It's b/c the workers cannot follow instructions. I asked for onions so the guy put two onion slices on my regular sub, are you afraid of them? Don't be stingy but then again you piled on what seemed to be a pound of lettuce...what's up with that? Next I asked for a Turkey on White so they put cheese on it, I never asked for the #7 so don't give cheese when not requested or how about ask me? And lastly, I asked for mustard and the guy practically emptied the bottle onto my sandwich and now I have a mustard soup sandwich. Who wants more mustard than sandwich? NO ONE!! And yes, I had them remake it and they still dumped on the mustard. If the condiment used is the only thing you can taste, you're using too much!! I should have just bought a jar of mustard for lunch (cheaper & healthier) than the mustard soup sandwich made here. Thanks for ruining my lunch. Never eating at this particular store again!! I finally had the chance to get some Jersey Mike's a few weeks ago with Nando F. My parents live in Leesburg and we had no idea they opened one up near the CiCi's. Considering how they advertise as "best sandwiches in the US" or something like that, we had to try it. I've also seen this chain on the food network a while back. Well I got tuna albacore sandwich. I can't remember what my friend got but both of us were pleased with our sandwiches. I love this place!! I eat it for lunch at least once a week. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because they are still working out the kinks for the online orders. I have found that they ignore the 'comment' section when you order online. Example: If you say 'light on the mayo' or 'Can I get an extra cup of dressing on the side?' you will not get it. Otherwise it is GREAT!!! The bread is always fresh and the toppings are ample. They have a large selection of meats but only two cheese: swiss or provolone. I've had about 5 different subs and have still not been disappointed. The #9 is my ultimate favorite with turkey, rare roast beef (perfectly cooked!), and bacon, Mikes way (lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, oil and vinegar, and spices). I always add a bit of the spicy red peppers and some mustard to mine, the the original way is great too. It can get really busy on the weekends and at lunch time during the week. This can slow down the ordering process but you can watch them make your sub in front of you. The hot subs are good as well but the hot pastrami is a bit on the salty side. The chipotle philly is worth a try if you would like a little zip to your regular philly sub. They have chips or pickle as a side but no fries. There is no reason to ever go to Subway (Wrongway) or QuizNOs ever again!!!! Those places are not in the same class and are a disgrace by comparison. read more

Let's get one thing straight, I like food ar Jersey Mike's. I've been to many locations across Virginia from Norfolk to Northern Virginia to Charles Town, WV. That being said, if Disney World is the happiest place on Earth, then this is the opposite of that. This location is miserable. I'm sitting in the parking lot writing this review, because I want to make sure I dont forget anything. The employees look like they hate being there. The only thing missing from their demeanor was a labored sigh after any action or response. I don't think I'll be back to this location if I'm in the area. There are plenty more options. read more

Stopped by here yesterday because the wife didn't want to cook. Well, that and she had heard some good reviews. This place is a Subway/Quizno's clone. Sure the meat is sliced fresh and the guys behind the counter get to have droll conversation with customers but when I walked away I had no better dining experience than I do wasting my money on chain food. Basically people, if your in Leesburg and this is where your getting your subs your doing it wrong. Try Andy's, Puccio's, South Street or any small number of locally owned, locally operated sandwich shops and you will get the same or better. The subs are good, but I would have to say they are nothing special, but the meat is sliced right there in front of you. The toppings are all good and fresh. I typically get my subs "Mike's Way". The staff is friendly, but a little too friendly at times. The guy that takes your order just wants to keep talking to you about things you don't care about and all I want to do is move on down the line and not talk. Extremity disappointed...I have been going to this location since they opened. The owners are great but when they are not there the customer service guess downhill. Was greeted with a sign that said "Unable to take cash SRY" I guess that means sorry. It was around 6:15 pm and the store hours said they were open until 9pm. When I walked in half of the lights were off. Two of the employees looked at each other, and gave the impression, that they hoped I didn't order too much or a hot sub because the grill was clean. As they stood there and starred at me, a young girl comes out and says "what can I get you"? That wasn't so bad. I ordered 2 giant Italian subs Mike's way with extra mayo. I had to repeat this straight forward order three times. I guess mayo comes out of the employees pay checks. For $34.49 for two subs, I would have expected fresh bread. I got home and we couldn't eat them because the bread was so old. I actually could knock on the bread and it didn't give. This place has gone down hill fast, and with other options in the area, you may want to take your money else where. At least to a place that greets you with a smile and serves fresh bread. Come on, you only serve subs, can't you have fresh bread? No signs of management being present. read more

Another location messed up our Uber order and we couldn't get in contact with them, so we called this location and the general manager Andrew was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Horrible customer service. If you don't give them tip they will treat you like you just robbed them. I love the food but hate the attitudes. I always get to-go and yet they expect a tip. Unfortunately, this is the culture in all their locations. Hope their entire chain go bankrupt as they don't follow the first rule of business. I showed up after a long day of work and all I wanted was a Jersey Mike Sub. The time was 8:55 PM. The closing time posted on the door was 9:00PM. I passed a women in the parking lot who had just come from your store with food. So I thought great I too can get my sub for dinner. I went to the door, and as I walked up, an employee locked the door. Through the window I could see another customer completing his order and three employees. Yet I could not get in. They just ignored me. REALLY. You are in Leesburg, a booming town with lots of night time activity, yet because your employees wanted to leave early, all be it 5 minutes, it is still before the posted time, I GO HOME HUNGER AND TICKED OFF. The food here isn't bad per say but the employees don't exercise cleanliness all the time. For instance there was a guy making sandwiches and we noticed a bugger hanging from his nose. When we brought it to his attention all he did was wipe his nose with his hand and continued to make the sandwich. Naturally, I walked out at that point. So when you eat there approach with caution!! So i was driving one day and binged Jersery mikes vs. Jimmy Johns Subs. When i pulled in to the parking lot it had some mixed reviews. Some said one or the other. So i figured i'd try Jersey Mikes. Now in my opinion, Jimmy Johns wins HANDS AND ELBOWS down. They have a similar set up but that is ALL!! The meat here is deli style but reminds me of eating at Blimpy Subs. You'll find Blimpy in the southern states and usually attached to gas stations. The bread isn't even comparable to Jimmy Johns and the meat? well lets just say it just layed there. I usually go to this location in Leesburg once a week. There seems to always be an issue and they can't get my order right. I went in last week to get lunch and I tried to explain the order to the guy to who was taking my order. He was arrogant and didn't write anything down. I again mentioned to him that I usually have an issue with my orders. He dismissed me and proceeded to process my order. Well when I got my order it was wrong again. I went back into the restaurant and he asked me what was wrong. I explained to him that I tried to tell him that my order usually has issues and he dismissed me. He then proceeded to try and fix my order by just grilling a bunch of peppers and tossing it into my sandwich instead of making a new one which was not acceptable. All the while he had a smirk on his face and was literally laughing at me. I asked to speak to a manager and he looked at me and told me that he was the general manager. He would also let his manager know of the incident. I submitted something to Corporate and I still haven't heard anything, no response no one has reached out to me which is totally unacceptable. read more

New sub place in the new Fort Evans shopping center. They cut the meat and cheese for the sandwiches right before making them so it's very fresh. They have 2 great vegetarian options, one grilled veggie wrap and one cheese and veggie sub. read more

I visit jersey mikes quite often and to be honest the subs are great and they are decent portions of food. I love the cheesesteak sandwiches as well as the regular cold subs. It just depends on what you like. The prices are a bit high though.. read more

Been a customer since the day they opened. Ordered in the App on Saturday. Was assigned a wait of 45 minutes. Went to a couple of neighboring stores but popped in to see of the time assigned could possibly correct. I queued up behind a women who had done what I did, come "early". The staff gave her so much grief she demanded a refund and stormed out. I spoke to a young man who said he'd see what he could do and for me to wait to the side. Now with 6 foot spacing the line was to the door but was around 10 people. I waited 20 minutes and inquired again. I still had officially 20 more minutes to wait. In the time I had waited new people had come in and left with their food. There were now 3 people in line. When I inquired about my order the "GM" Andrew barked at me that I wouldn't get my food until the appointed time as that was his policy, and that in no way could I jump the people in line. I said cancel the order and place the order now as if I was in line, as I had waited 30 minutes already and no-one in line waited these 30 minutes. He refused to reorder but offered to refund the money. I declined having waited so long already. The point is no-one in line waited anywhere the amount of time I had. BTW if you are familiar with the store he "spoke" to me from the meat slicer about 15 feet from me. Nice respect. Today their management responded to me that they recommend only arriving at the appointed time. If it doesn't take 40 minutes in line why 40 minutes for an on line order? Subs are great if u like them cold. They don't toast them. Overall I liked them. They are good for a quick lunch to go on the weekends but u will need to wait in line. Make sure you ask for it Mikes way with extra red wine vinegar!! read more

They have great subs.. I love that they slice the meat and cheese right in front of you. However, they are severely lacking in customer service. There are many many restaurant options in Leesburg. For a fast food sub shop it's probably the best right around this area by the outlet mall. Great meats and wonderful hot subs (I usually get the 56, a version of the steak and cheese). Friendly staff, ok (and sometimes slow) wait times for food, and a great overall product. Staff is typically very young, but always act professional and seem to know what they are doing. They also host many fundraisers for local community events and groups. It's always great to see a company support our community. If I want to sit down and eat (especially if the family is there and I'm looking for variety), I'll probably head to Geos or Andy's in Leesburg. If I'm just grabbing a quick sub to go, it definitely trumps the multiple other options nearby (Subway, Jimmy Johns, Primos, etc). read more

I used to love this place until today. They just refused to heat the meat on my sandwich. My fiancee went in to pick up sandwiches and asked them to heat it up. The manager refused saying it was corporate policy (Apparently to maintain the integrity of their cold subs). He told the manager I was 5 1/2 months pregnant and he continued to refuse. I called the manager (because I was not with him) and the manager had the nerve to lie to me and tell me that at no time did my fiancee tell him that I was pregnant. Which my fiancee says is a utter lie. And I believe him because how can you argue with corporate policy without saying that I AM PREGNANT! I love jersey mikes and i go to grab sandwiches all the time. There is always great fast service and the place is always neat and clean. Unfortunately, my last visit was not as pleasant. Last night before closing, I walked into the store and immideately I was rudely and intimidately looked at up and down instead of the jolly energetic greeting I usually recieve from other employees. She said nothing to me but a sassy "May I help you?". I have never encountered this employee before and I recieved nothing but attitude and negative energy. I felt heavy discomfort and decided to just leave. I never write reviews on yelp but this has been sitting on my mind all night and Ive come to the conclussion that this should not go unnoticed it was very unacceptable. read more
