I found the response extremely unprofessional and, frankly, childish. A business owner should be able to address criticism without mocking a customer or attempting to discredit them personally. I do not know the younger customer involved; I simply witnessed the interaction while I was there waiting to order. The owner's response does not change what I personally saw or the impression it left on me. I won't be shopping here again. I've given this place a few chances because I wanted to be fair, but what I witnessed today was the final straw. I was standing in line getting ready to order when I watched who I assume was the owner walk over to a younger customer who was seated and just about to drink his coffee. She told him he needed to get up and move to make room for people who had just walked in. I walked out without ordering. The whole interaction left a terrible impression on me. Younger customers deserve the same basic courtesy and respect as everyone else, and what I witnessed came across as dismissive and biased based on age.
