Jersey Mikes really raises the bar for freshness of a sandwich. It's very impressive. Having the meats and cheese sliced right in front of you is so refreshing. Charles, the new manager, shows passion for his store and customers. He defines professionalism for dining. The one thing I would mention is that the cafe could have been cleaner. I love jersey mikes always have but apparently some young lady cooking on the grill when I came in had a bad day and decided to pick me to express her attitude on, not sure why I didn't do or say anything. She asked me to move from where I was standing to place my order which was two steps away from where you are now suppose to order and I was the only customer in the store. Okay cool. No sweat she continues to ask me what kind of sandwich I want on both which I very clearly told her already they both were the same which wasn't a problem repeating the problem was the look on her face and her tone. Them when she rang me up she had me put in my rewards and skipped right passed my tip option so she assumed I don't tip then asked if I needed a bag. uhh no I would like to carry my 50.00 food order out by hand. I'm a manager at a restaurant and it upsets me that we have to settle for this kind of customer service due to be so short staffed. we've got to do better. And I really hope she is not in charge because she is setting an example to the rest of her staff. read more

Jersey Mikes has the best cheesesteak in Macon but their cold subs are average at best. Honestly the meat on the cold subs taste like cheap processed meat. And on the cheesesteak tell them to leave off the peppers, they over powered it and you taste nothing but pickle juice. read more

I love this place! Best sub shop in middle Georgia. They slice the meats fresh per order and load up the sub with plenty of ingredients. My wife loves the sub tub which is great for the no carb people, and I love the hot subs. I recommend the pastrami or the Philly sub. read more

When it first opened I wondered if it would hold its own against Firehouse just up the road. Well, I can honestly say that Firehouse can't hold a candle to Jersey Mike's! Fresher ingredients, super friendly staff. Bright and breezy atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. read more

This Jersey Mike location opened five months ago. We were in town visiting my Dad and grabbed and sub on the way home for dinner. We got the Original Italian Sub and it's the sub that made them famous in 1956. And it's huge! A truly authentic, Jersey-style Italian sub served Mike's Way with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and oregano. We added the red pepper sauce to our. We had it for dinner last night and it was great. The people that fixed the sub were very friendly and accommodating. Can't wait too make a return trip to Macon to visit my Dad. When we do we will be sure to visit Jersey Mikes again. read more

One of the best sub shops in town, and I am a regular patron 2-3 times a week. I eat subs about 3-4 times a week. Staff is friendly and service is prompt. Subs are delicious and fresh. Their bread is ok but not my favorite. (I don't like all the gritty stuff on the outside that gets everywhere and on your clothes and its a little thick) Meats are good, and they know how to properly "sauce" a sandwich with lots of oil and vinegar! Tea is good, fresh brewed, no canned mix. Overall one of my favorite lunch spots. Favorite subs: Italian, Roast beef, Super sub, and chicken cheese steaks. Hot subs are great and fresh grilled while you wait. They will even bring it to the table when its ready. If you are a regular sign up for their loyalty program, I get free subs all the time, and nothing beats a free lunch! read more

I don't understand all the fuss about this place. I have eaten here three times. Every time the amount of meat & veggies is less than Subway. I assumed this was the standard for this chain. Then I went to a Jersey Mike's in York, PA. Now that was a true Jersey sub, having grown up in the northeast we know subs. I ordered the same sub at both locations. The sub from the York store was full of meat and veggies. It was about 5" tall. It was great. My guess is either the Macon store is not trained properly or the franchisee is cutting cost. Either way skip this location until they get it right. You get more meat & veggies from the Firehouse Subs down the street. FYI the best sub in town now is at the Publix deli. Beats every chain sub shop in town on quality & price. read more

I went to this store yesterday, and the time that I went you all had a rush. The two ladies who was making the sandwiches were excellent, very nice and professional. The manager that was on staff was sitting down not helping your other ladies. I found that very unprofessional that your manager did not help her employees. I don't understand what establishment allows this to happen. The ladies that worked that rushed deserves much apprection, because if those two ladies was not up there, then I would have walked out. read more

I love this place! The restaurant is always clean. The ingredients are always fresh. They offer a wide variety of cold cut sandwiches as well as Philly sandwiches. The customer service is also very good! Also, they have a rewards system, so you can build points towards free sandwiches. read more

Have seen this chain before but never tried it until now. I ordered a regular size turkey & provolone and it was delicious. They definitely don't skimp on the meat and toppings, and a regular is big enough for 2 people practically. Staff was friendly and everything was really clean, will be back for sure. read more

So I had a horrible experience and this establishment today that left me with a very bad taste in my mouth and more than a little anger. I walked into this restaurant and placed an order for a chicken caesar wrap. wanting a lighter lunch all seemed well and good. as I waited for my food several customer received their food before me. but mine was a cooked item and I expected it to take longer. upon further inquiry and about 30 minutes of waiting they told me that it had not been started yet and would soon. after about 10 more minutes I asked again and noticed it had not been started yet. and as more and more customers walked out with their food it seemed I would not get mine. at this point I was very livid, but I'm not one to make a scene in a store. so in total it took them 54 minutes to get me chicken and lettuce in a spinach wrap. which also made me late getting back to work. I love the food here! I recently moved and this is definitely the best place around for subs. There's a good variety of hot and cold sub options and their bowls are great too! They've mixed up my order a few times but they always fix it very quickly. Definitely great for a quick dinner sub! read more
