Amazing sandwiches. So good. They definitely try to feed the community and do a great job.

Not that busy, and still couldn't get any good customer service. No eye contact or direct communication upon picking up an online order. Mostly confusion in trying to locate my order. The manager was actually the rudest, not saying a word as she eventually placed my order on the counter. I wasn't even sure it was mine, since she said nothing. None of the employees seemed to have a clue what was going on in there. On top of that, the subs were drowning in oil. Not good. Won't be returning.

Great customer service, friendly environment and a willingness to commit to the bit. The subs are better than subway too. Great food

The service was amazing and the servers can comit to the bit. Would recommend coming to this place to have a fun time. The food is also really good.

I like their service and fresh food. Looks pretty nice. Even in peak hours as the wait times are long it's a good place to go.

Perfect balance of meat and fat and perfectly crispy and yummy bbq sauce. $8 Brisket sandwich. 2 this could have been a 5 star had there been bbq sauce on it. It was forgotten. I'd have asked for some but after the food was dropped off no one from the kitchen or bbq place was seen again. $18 Pork ribs. 1 . I had such high hopes for this. In the pics they look so good. But for $26 I expected more than 5 small ribs. The sides. The Mac n cheese was pretty good. I'd give it a solid 3 . The waffle rides were also fresh and crispy with a bit of smoke flavor. 5 Service. Also going with 1 . I don't expect to be waited on hand and foot. But it would have been nice for someone to just be out front to answer questions. Give me some extra sauce etc. I did wait st the podium for about 5 minutes before poking my head into the kitchen so I could place my Order. I didn't want to do the same for sauce. We were there 40 minutes. In that time I saw the guy twice. Taking my order and dropping off my food. I'd go back again before they close. I'd stick with The burnt ends.

Let me tell you about my server, the absolute legend who conquered his two-pack-a-day habit through the revolutionary "Brisket Smoke Immersion Protocol." This hero of modern medicine discovered that 60 minutes of face-time with oak-smoked brisket vapors carries the same satisfaction as 47 cigarettes, but with the added benefit of making your hair smell like victory. "The trick," he'll tell you while delivering a plate of burnt ends, "is to position yourself exactly 7.3 inches from the top rack, where the smoke density hits that sweet spot between 'spiritual awakening' and 'temporary meat blindness.'" He tracked his progress in a leather-bound journal that's now permanently infused with smoky goodness. Day 1 entry: "Visibility limited, meat particles adhering to eyebrows." Day 15: "Have begun to communicate telepathically with the brisket. It speaks of great wisdom." Day 30: "I am become smoke, destroyer of cravings." The restaurant had to install a special timer just for these sessions. They call it the "Meat Meditation Chamber," and there's now a waiting list of people trying to kick various habits through strategic smoke exposure. One guy supposedly gave up energy drinks by huffing pulled pork vapors for three weeks straight. The best part? While sharing his journey to smoke-based enlightenment, he'll serve you the most transcendent BBQ this side of the astral plane. The brisket doesn't just fall apart--it voluntarily deconstructs itself out of respect for your taste buds. The ribs have converted more vegetarians than a bacon-scented hypnosis podcast. Five stars. Would absolutely sit through another 45-minute explanation of how the smoke molecules restructured his DNA while demolishing a plate of burnt ends again. Just don't ask about the time he accidentally fell asleep in there and woke up speaking fluent Memphis-style BBQ. P.S. They're thinking about bottling the smoke as a cologne. There's already a pre-order list.

We came here on a Saturday night to celebrate my sister's birthday and were very impressed overall…read more The warm bread with oil was a great start, and the loaded potato skins ($13) were delicious even without the ranch. Drinks were solid and fairly priced: a spruce tip golden ale ($6.75), Modelo ($6), margarita ($15), and two glasses of German Riesling ($23). Entrees included chicken Florentine (subbed with shrimp for +$3), chicken fettuccine Alfredo, and fettuccine primavera (with shrimp for +$7). Everything came out hot, seasoned well, and very tasty, though my Florentine was light on spinach. Desserts were a highlight--raspberry cheesecake that was fluffy and creamy with a good crust, and a rich crème brûlée that disappeared quickly. The restaurant itself is small and cozy, set in what feels like an old home. Inside has around 15 tables and can get loud; the staff accommodated our request to move outside to the porch, which turned out to be perfect. Service was friendly, though our server forgot small requests like bread and to-go boxes until later. Prices felt fair, portions were generous, and the menu is well-balanced. My only real nitpicks: no Pinot Noir on the wine list (surprising for the PNW), and the Florentine could use more spinach. Parking is limited to a few street spots or a dirt lot across the way that seemed fine. Bottom line: excellent food, cozy atmosphere, and a great value. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area--and even worth a little road trip.

The brews here? **Impeccable.** The balance of flavors, the craftsmanship, the sheer dedication poured into every pint--this is the kind of beer that **rewires your brain chemistry**, rendering all lesser beverages obsolete. The food? **Legendary.** A burger so impossibly juicy it deserves its own Netflix documentary. Fries that crunch with a level of precision that suggests **some sort of alchemical wizardry is at play**. Each dish is not just **prepared**--it is **engineered**, designed for maximum indulgence and unrestrained joy. The staff? **Incredible.** Friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about their craft. Every conversation with them feels like a TED Talk on the art of brewing, and yet **somehow more engaging**. And yet--**AND YET**--let us address the single most inexplicable contradiction in human history: **LUMBER HOUSE BREWERY IS LOCATED IN A CONCRETE TILT-UP BUILDING.** Read that again. Slowly. Let it sink in. Lumber House Brewery--the very name **evokes images of rustic timber lodges**, cozy wood-paneled beer halls, the scent of sawdust mingling with the comforting aroma of freshly poured stouts. You hear "Lumber House," and you **expect** beams, planks, a structure that whispers of heritage, craftsmanship, and the sturdy embrace of dimensional lumber. But no. **Concrete.** Gray, impersonal, **unapologetically industrial concrete**. Tilted up like some sort of affront to the very concept of its name. It's not a huge place but they have plenty of seating and comfortable brewery ambiance. Food and beer is ordered at the bar and they bring the food to wherever you're sitting. We were on a bit of time crunch and just grabbed seats at the bar. Since it was an in between meal period, they weren't super busy which was perfect. We both ordered the burger special which was a bacon bleu burger which comes with waffle fries. The waffles fries are fantastic, and an underrated fry choice, IMO. They were hot and crispy. Burgers were loaded but the knock on them was that they were over cooked for both my wife and I, while also being small compared to the bun. Overall, the flavor was still good and along with good beers (we got the Kolsch & Pale Ale) it was a 4 star experience. When we were getting ready to leave, a guy at the end of the bar received his pretzel order and it looked delicious. Will definitely come back and try that next time!
