I would recommend going to the location on University Drive over this one. It's only 10 minutes away and it's night and day compared to this location. I order delivery from Jersey Mike's about every other week and today is the last straw. I was expecting an Italian sub and I received a club sub without bacon. There's no way to contact Jersey Mike's to tell them they messed up your order, and when you fill out the form online which I have done in the past they tell you management will reach out. No one from management at this location has ever reached out to me. Also, when it comes to sub construction here expect a heaping amount of lettuce and an insane amount of mayo. I have a feeling they also rarely have the Parm/Rosemary bread here since I get it less than 20% of the time. I guess I should have read the reviews before stopping at this location. I would say this was the WORST Jersey Mikes I have ever eaten at. I grew up next to the original Jersey Mikes in Pt. Pleasant, NJ. My 16 year old son went in to order for us. He said the people who worked their could not have been any less friendly. The root-beer was not working but no one bothered to tell him until he returned to say it tasted horrible. I had a roast beef with American cheese and it was awful! Loaded with mayo and maybe 1 slice of roast beef and 2 slices of American cheese. It was simply inedible! Actually it was NASTY! This location is usually superb. Just very disappointed when I got home and opened my cheesesteak. One end of the bread looked normal, but the other half was skinny as a hot dog. Very irregular and they served it? And, I'm splitting this with a friend. So, I got cheated because I can't chest my friend. Since I'm the one buying today this location just ripped me off. This jersey mikes is very diverse in its hiring i like the mixed group of employees. For a rural location the mixed diversity allows for an experience on all levels. Some people go in to businesses hoping the workers are their skin type only then complain about the service but thats not the issue with me i love to see diversity it makes me feel as though myself and my food are in good hands. I've been coming to this Jersey Mike's for quite a while and I gotta say that this is my favorite location. The staff here is very friendly and informed. I promise that you guys will be 100% satisfied with whatever you order. On a side note, I came here earlier today and ordered my food online. The app told me that my food would be ready at 1:43 and it was ready at exactly 1:43. I also requested a side order of cherry pepper relish. When my food was ready I left with my two subs but forgot to snag the relish. I got into my car and noticed that one employee was outside with a small container of relish and it was at that moment I knew I forgot it. I got out of my car and he handed the relish. I was very happy that your employee came outside to deliver such a small item. This shows that you guys have great costumer service. I am very excited to come again! read more

I don't know what happened to this franchise but it has went downhill quickly. We moved to mebane 5 yrs ago and this was one well ran shop. The same can't be said now. We noticed about a yr ago the service was going downhill and the employees just didn't care but still got what you ordered with a smile. Now the employees clearly don't give a shit. Rude, unappreciative and lazy. I don't think they remember they are selling an extremely overpriced sandwich and attention to detail is required. Today was the third trip in the last 45 days and third in a row my order was messed up. First they made a regular instead of giant, then proceeded to not even ring me up so I walked out after waiting for 10 mins. Then used blue cheese when i asked for ranch and today got home with my online order that was missing lettuce, pickles and tomato which were added twice and I was told by the cashier they were added. Not to mention I should have taken pictures of the sub as it was the worst quality sandwich I've ever gotten there. meat was dry and overcooked and lacking in quantity. Wow. I saw the two star rating and thought that's just going to be a fluke. But this was the most convenient location and so I stopped here. Boy, was a two star rating generous. The roast beef was so over cooked it was gray. I asked them to go get another roast beef for my sandwich and they brought yet another piece of gray meat. I had to choose another sandwich just to avoid the roast beef. And the other reviewer is not exaggerating when they say the bread is hard as a rock, it is. In the past few months this place has gone downhill. I used to eat here regularly and everyone was really friendly and the food was prepared like they cared. Last couple times I have been there I have not left happy. The staff was not as friendly and I got back to office after ordering a meatball sub only to find it was ice cold when I opened the wrapper. I love Jersey Mike's. Have been going since they opened once or twice a week. They recently remodeled the place and it looks great. BUT--I do not like there new napkin holders, it has a little opening at the top and you have to stick two fingers in and attempt to retrieve a napkin. I do not think this would meet code. I have filled out one of their comment cards and sent it to ?headquarters? about two months ago but they still have the same thing. Last week I was eating and a guy had an order to go and as he was walking out, he stopped at the table next to me to grab some napkins, and was unable to get one so we had a nice conversation about it. Again, I Love this sandwich shop but I believe in cleanliness for everybody and seeing fingers going in to try to pull out a napkin is not a way to achieve it. I'm thinking maybe they are going to get new style napkins that will be sticking out so they can easily be dispensed. I will say the taste of the steak sandwich was good, but the bread was cold and had asked for it to be heated. I asked for provolone cheese but I couldn't find it anywhere on the sandwich. I also asked for jalapenos and I counted about 3 small pieces. The amount of meat you see in the pictures they advertise, is not the amount you actually get. Count on about half. The taste alone is not enough to go back. I will say the staff is friendly. For a buck more you can go a few miles up the street to Pomodoro's and get a great sandwich. read more
