Overall a great stop if you're in the mood for a large sandwich! I was passing through SLC and came…read moreacross a recommendation for this place, and it definitely did not disappoint. They do full-service sit-down and to-go orders and have a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, bagels, dessert, other New York/Jewish style deli foods, and beer! Sloppy Joe - 5/5 - A large (1/2 lb) double decker sandwich with pastrami and corned beef. There are 3 layers of bread. The meats are tender and flavorful and blend nicely together with the thousand island dressing and slaw between the layers. It also comes with a side, I picked the potato salad which was good too. Not too much mayo but it was still nice and creamy. I just wish I got a little more potato salad to match the portion size of the sandwich! Potato Latke Pancakes - 4.5/5 - They were nice, hot, and crispy. You get 2 pancakes which have a nice thickness to them too. The flavor was good, I just think you should get more sour cream and apple sauce. It comes with a small cup of each, but its not quite enough for the 2 pancakes and its 50c each to get extra! Matzo Ball Soup - 3/5 - The matzo ball and soup broth both had a good flavor. The proportions were just off however, a huge matzo ball but not enough broth. And the broth didn't have enough of chicken meat and veggies (carrot/celery). I basically had 1/2 the matzo ball left over at the end Attempted Murder Imperial Stout Beer - 5/5 - Its a vanilla cinnamon stout. The flavor is subtle but in a good way! Its not sweet, but has a smooth bitterness and mouthfeel with a slight fragrance of the vanilla cinnamon. If you like stout, def give this a try. Its a strong one too, 10.5% ABV! The restaurant was clean, service was good, and there is a good amount of seating and its decorated nicely inside. Def give this place a try!

Had a good vibe inside with indoor + outdoor seating & a market to shop around in with speciality items. We got the Mortadella Mami + Hot Pastrami for sandwiches & the tiramisu for dessert. They have many unique drink options with a variety of chocolates, canned fish, bread and cheeses you can select from. They said my sub would be ready in 7 minutes and they were quicker than they said! Luckily perusing the market kills time. Appearance - If it's a nice day don't skip it out on sitting on the shaded patio. The food looked yummy!! Taste - I came once before and ordered The Caputo. Unfortunately, it was very bland for my liking. I'm usually a Jersey Mikes girl and like a lot of juice and this sub had no flavor. However, I do believe in giving restaurants a redemption round. I heard many positive things about the meatball sub and decided to send it. And boy am I glad I did! I loved the sauce and the mini meatballs made it even better. Be prepared with a few napkins because it's quite messy! P.S. If you love chips and are feeling adventurous try the black truffle ones, they are rich in flavor and melt in your mouth!!

Ordered a 1/2 turkey avocado sandwich on toasted ciabatta bread (my choice) with chips and iced dark mocha. All under $20.00. Absolutely delicious! Am going to try and get back here for another tomorrow or Tuesday it was so good. Tried the beef stew and I swore my mother was behind the counter cooking it!!! Exactly like hers with those tasty flavors! I'll be back for that too! Yum! That little trip to look for a sandwich really paid off! Sweet little spot with exceptional customer service! Hard to find these little gems and here this one is!! I'd be here regularly if I wasn't just visiting.

The 1/2 sandwich and soup combo was perfect for lunch. It also came with a drink and bag of chips. The roast beef wasn't dry and had flavor to it. They didn't skimp out on the portion for the protein either. The chicken noodle soup was good, nothing crazy. I believe I saw the owners talk to a group next to my table. Super friendly wife and husband. Happy I stopped by instead of driving past it like usual. Glad there's another sandwich shop in the rotation.

PSA: come here to cure your lunch hunger!…read more With massive sandwiches churning out of this deli / market duo, it is the perfect spot to swing by during the work day. Head to the back deli upon walking in and you will be asked for your order at the counter. I recommend your first order be a half sandwich - don't be macho like me and think you can handle a whole because you'll be wrestling with it all afternoon and possibly skip dinner. While you wait for the sando, browse the Asian themed market for a unique find, such as a flavor of Lays you've never tried (or seen!) or even a hot sauce from the many they carry. Orders can be taken to go, or eaten outside on one of their many tables. I'll definitely be back soon, they are open for business no doubt about that!
