The better half ordered their Twisted Cuban sandwich and although I had a sandwich already picked out (from their online menu) in my mind, they had a daily special on the board that caught my interest - a prime rib double patty burger w/ cheeses. The chef explained how she prepares the patties and cooks them up - SOLD! I went for it, and so happy I did! It was one of the best burgers I have ever had - BURP! Whatever the seasonings were (I have no doubt she told me, but forgot) were great and the meat was so tender and juicy (not greasy). I've had pleasant dreams about this burger ever since. It came with homemade chips too, which were good. The Twisted Cuban was also enjoyed by the wife. Although we will return when we visit Mount Dora and my goal will be to have one of their delicious looking sandwiches I may have to have that darn burger again if they happen to have it on their specials board! They sell a few prime cuts of meat from a small display case, which is something I would consider if I lived locally. Or, maybe I'll just have to bring a cooler the next time.

My mom ordered the fish sandwich with tomato and cucumber salad. After ordering the Italian Haley said they were out of beef until the owner arrived so I went for the day's special which was a seafood basket: two pieces of fried fish, four huge shrimp and clam strips. Clam strips are not my favorite but these were very crisp and tasty. It was served with fries and cold slaw. We both agreed the food was very good. I asked for some cocktail sauce and after a few minutes she came back with saying she had to make some. It was fantastic, very horseradish forward which I loved.
