The wait staff was fine, nothing over the top but polite and attentive enough. The big issue of the night was the pizza. It took about 45 minutes to come out, which was surprising given the restaurant wasn't very busy. Unfortunately, when it finally arrived, the center was undercooked and raw--a real disappointment. Management was very understanding and offered to make another, but with the time already invested we couldn't wait around for a second attempt. On the positive side, the appetizers were really good, and the wings were spot-on--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. That alone makes me want to give them another chance. Overall, not the best first impression, but I'll chalk it up to an off night. I'll be back to try again, hoping the pizza comes out as good as the rest of the menu.

All tables were full. There is nothing that is worse in service than making people not feel welcome when you walk into an establishment. I don't need much. The other family nor our family were not acknowledge for about 15 minutes. I tried to make eye contact and kind of nod at some of the wait staff and people behind the counter to make sure they understood we would like a table, but they flat-out ignored us. The other family that was waiting eventually left after a while of realizing we may not be seated and we were not welcome. After about those 15 minutes, three tables of people finished at the same time. The waitress came over and said we could sit in a booth wherever. Yes, kind of like that. Sit wherever. It was clear they didn't want us there. We were inconveniencing them. Getting our waters and ordering our food was fairly straightforward, but the same vibes: not friendly nor welcoming. We waited longer at the table than I would've expected for waters and ordering, considering we'd now spent 30 min in the building and had hardly been acknowledged, but she did take our order. It was after 11am, so no breakfast options. Hmm, okay I get it I guess. That's fairly common for a diner. My only option as a vegetarian is a grilled cheese and french fries (pictured, after eating half the sandwich, about 12 french fries were included). It tasted good, but it was tiny. It was a kids'-sized portion. I was unsure of how a grown man was supposed to call this a meal. It was cheap enough, but I would've paid a couple more bucks for a larger portion, maybe a full side of french fries? All else was fine. The mood/vibe never changed. We weren't checked on, until we waved her over for more water and our bill. We paid our bill at the counter. I don't think I have high expectations. I just want them to...be okay with us being there? Provide service? (I always leave a tip, but I'm not sure what I was tipping for...) It's no excuse, but maybe they thought we were out of towners? I've lived here for 15 years, but it was definitely giving "you're not our people" type of vibes.

" We approached the counter to order and an older blond lady looks at us and says, "We won't be able to get your food to you til after 6pm because we have a 22 pizza order. I said, "Could we just get one pizza and you could make it before the 22 pizza order since we came in. (There was no one else in the restaurant) . She said, "No, we have to do this order first." I was shocked, "There was no apology, no "I'm sorry." While my family and one child who has medical/special needs stood there soak in wet from the storm, this employee had no empathy at all. Just plain and simple...RUDE. Too many other establishments to spend your hard earned money on people who just don't have etiquette or manners. First off, why would you even open your restaurants doors if you aren't taking orders? We wanted to have a nice place to sit down and have ONE PIZZA. Just one pizza! Shame on you. Do better or lock your doors and just take phone orders. Luckily good ol' Dominos was open two doors down and our family had the three nicest gentleman greet us, take our order, and had our food out in less than 10 minutes.
