I think fondly of this place. The food is deeeeeelish, and also, it's just such a good spot in terms of versatility. Study space, friend hang out, date, post Walmart little self care treat, etc etc!! I like the broccoli cheddar soup, Mac and cheese, and grilled cheese. Also this chicken avocado bagel thing I am forgetting the name of. There is absolutely nothing could do to get me back as a customer. Nothing first they changed the coffee program raise the price five dollars because they said they added the sweet drinks. I'm diabetic. I can't drink the sweet drinks. They've continually raised their rates. The coffee is well over three dollars now but today was the last straw. I went in. I ordered a cinnamon crunch bagel clearly saw that it was smaller. I called the corporate office. They agreed that they had to make them smaller so I'm done. I'm done. I'm not going to Panera anymore. I will start going to other places that serve coffee and bakery items because this place is just way too much for me. I should've seen the sign of things to come when they stop serving the small cups of coffee and they only serve the medium and large. read more

People may say that Panera is expensive hospital food, but I've spent plenty of time enjoying jello in a fluorescent-lit hallway to know the difference. We ordered three You-Pick-Twos for pickup. It was ready in no time and delicious as usual (and pretty affordable). You can't go wrong with their Mac and Cheese! Went here on a weekend. We had two orders of the Mediterranean Veggie sandwiches with baked chips. I find it a bit odd Panera really only offers a bag of kettle cooked chips, an apple, or a piece of bread as the side options. The sandwiches were made vegan by requesting no feta cheese. Limited vegan options otherwise. The sandwiches were good and it's nice that you get two as a "whole" order each. Place was clean and staff seemed friendly. Umbrellas were not open outside. It's a bit odd as they have a little fireplace that I think is ornamental only since the fire was on, but so was the a/c. A nice refreshing summer meal. read more

Overall I was disappointed. When we got there the staff seemed annoyed that we got there 30min before they closed. We ordered, food was okay at best. the bowls of soup weren't even half filled. My sandwhich was just average. I thought for as much as we paid it was extremely disappointing. I wouldn't return to this location. read more

I ordered two chicken cesar salads and two muffins at the drive-thru today for our lunches. Normally, the salads are delicious, but neither of us enjoyed the salads today...most of them were thrown away. There wasn't nearly enough dressing .. . . . very little chicken, but lots of lettuce which seemed stale. This is unusual, but it was our experience today and we spent $24 plus a nice tip. We've been regular customers but I think that changed today because we wonder if things have changed with our store. read more

Food was okay not worth what I paid for it. Service - The older man taking orders argued with me. He did not listen to what I was saying. I was telling him that a few weeks ago someone hacked into my Panera account and ordered a lot of food using the payment method I had in my account. since this happened I changed the password on my account and added an additional verification and deleted all of my payments. I had to file a dispute with the bank. I made the comment that if Panera denies the dispute that I would. it come back to Panera. the old man told me that panera has nothing to do with my personal finances. it was not about my personal finances it was about Panera denying my dispute. I live in Ohio and the charges happen in PA. He should not argue with customers. At this time not sure when I will return to Panera. read more

Do not work here! Unfortunately this is the second young person who I have known that has not been paid for their hours worked. 5 weeks at 20 hours a week and still no pay? When my husband called in a young lady named Lexi identified herself as the manager and then proceeded to be one of the rudest individuals we've come into contact with. She offered no solution, only stated that there was no check for him. After we contacted the police she miraculously was able to provide the officer with a payroll contact. We still have not gotten answers and I have now been on hold for 47 minutes with a customer service line. Panera has lost a family of regular customers due to their unprofessional business practices today. read more

They are out of something EVERY SINGLE VISIT! And when you are placing a $60+ order... Irritating! Went this morning order ham and cheese soufflé at 8:00 am. They were out only had two spinach artichoke left. They have been out of baguettes and special bread for sandwiches. Always say they didn't make enough for the day! Love Panera and used to have to go out of town to eat there...local Panera started off great...unfortunately now there is no customer service....ordered twice through app and it doesn't indicate that items are out of stock...twice ordered things they didn't have and was rudely told I would need to come back to pick up missing items and that they couldn't credit back for missing items ...never got what I paid for and have never have been told this at any establishment...better management is definitely needed! Will need to leave town again if I want Panera as I won't be returning to this one...I don't patronize places that have rude customer service and that you can't get your money back for items you don't receive. read more

Free Wi fi you can take out your lap top and sit there and do your games or what ever. quiet area no worries about being robbed. the reason why I didn't give them all stars is because even though their food is healthy and good for you. This is the third time we have visited Panera in Mt. Vernon, each time disappointed. This last time I ordered the turkey chili and chicken pita special. Too much overwhelming spices in the soup as well as the pita. I like to taste the different flavors in the products. I could also see why my grandson could not eat the steak and white cheddar Panini...very little steak and way too many "old strong" onions.
