There are sandwich shops all over Norman, OK but when I want a sub that harkens to my Italian lineage I'm heading to Jersey Mike's. I ordered my favorite today that is also JM's best seller, The #13 Italian on Rosemary Parmesan Bread. Did you know they bake their bread daily? It makes a difference! You smell it as soon as you walk in the door! Structured like a delicatessen you are greeted with smiles and asked "What can I get for you bud?" After choosing your sub and they slice or cook your meats you move to the station of adding fresh veggies! Lettuce, tomatoes, onions, pickles, jalapeños, banana peppers, and their very own blend of Cherry Pepper Relish (CPR) which totally makes you Jersey style sub perfection! They also have several dressings to choose from but when I order I get My sub Mike's Way that gets you the veggies, vinegar and oil, salt and pepper and Italian spices and mayo. This sub is huge and so freaking good! They serve a selection of chips from Miss Vicki's which I love the Jalapeño variety. Go say hi to Aaron and tell them Cass sent you!!! read more

Ordered 3 cold subs (1 to go) and 1 hot. Took so long for the hot one we we're all done with ours by the time hot one was ready. Instead of apologizing, because obviously they made a mistake and didn't make the sandwich with our order. They just acted like the chicken needed to be really done before they could send it out not only was it overcooked it was irritating that they simply couldn't take responsibility for forgetting the sandwich.. read more

I used to Love, Love, Love the subs. Best in the land... Then for whatever reason, they changed the bread. I am so disappointed that the new bread I ate was sub-par. Honestly can no longer recommend them at all. Service was great as usual, but the food quality has tanked. read more

Every time. Place my order online. Show up on time and they haven't started it yet. They make 10 more sandwiches as people continue to get in line. Always busy, staff assumes you know all about the menu and how to order, cold industrial environment. Ordered on line to avoid having to go in. Parked in the hard to find, non-intuitive to-go spot. I went there today and waited 51 minutes to get my order. There were only 6 people ahead of me. I ordered 2 sandwiches. Neither were made properly. I ordered a Philly with extra meat and cheese but after I drove home and started to eat the sandwich it had jalapeños, bacon and no cheese. The other sandwich was equall made wrong. The food is wonderful! Sometimes it's difficult to communicate with the sandwich artist. I go there often. It's a good idea to get your order in person, sometimes on line doesn't translate to what you preferred. The food is always fresh and delicious. Like Neptunes used to be in the 80's! read more

This business went above and beyond for the two sandwich boxes we ordered for Christmas. The staff was friendly and helpful. They even delivered the boxes to my car. The sandwiches tasted fresh and they separated all the fixings so the sandwiches did not get soggy. The only complaint was that there weren't enough onions. Which I bet next year can be remedied by simply ordering extra onions next time. Jersey Mike's Norman really hit it out of the park and we were all really happy! read more

Come here all the time and have never had a problem, today I came in at the time they said the order would be ready, which was 30 minutes after placing the order, to find that they had given it away to someone else, now I have to wait another 20 for them to remake it. I had a horrible day and decided to spend a little extra money to get a full meal. After seeing the sandwich worker LOAD up my sub, I got to the register and my chips and drink were free (a Wednesday special I think?) The sandwich was so good it LITERALLY made my day. We picked up suns because it was Giving Day (Boys and GirlsClub) but the food was just ok. When my husband walked in the person at the counter did not make eye contact but simply told him that the line to order was down the way. We have placed our order on line and was picking up. The service is lackadaisical at best. Was told the pickles are in the back and I'm not going to get them. An hour before close they're already cleaning with a full line of people so you can barely hear to order. I go here when I want a fresh sandwich. You can smell the bread from outside and the ingredients are always very fresh. Get your sandwich "mikes way" with the oil and all the toppings. You can't beat it. If you are a sandwich person, this is your place. read more

We have ordered from this place three times And all three times our ordered was partly delivered, when we contacted the store they tell us they do not deliver but If you order they their app they clearly do, the orders where expensive and you would expect to receive your complete order, but unfortunately we did not we also have to receive any refunds from this place and after countless attempts to talk to some one in charge all we get is someone will contact you back but no contact and or refund as to this date, I do it recommend ordering online from this place read more

This place is the closest I've found to my childhood favorite in Lawton OK. Love the "juice", and prefer the pepper sauce too.

I've heard of Jersey Mike's for a long time,just never experienced them until last week.I strolled in and was scanning the menu(obviously new to the place) as the employees looked at me as such just before closing.I ordered the most popular sandwich along with a craft pop.The guy behind the counter with dreads was very helpful!!! Not exactly sure what's happened to this location but have always gotten what we've ordered in the past and extras we've paid for and even tipped. But lately as in the last 4 times they have either gotten our order completely wrong, forgotten stuff, not given us extras that we've paid for and never seem to have the order ready on time. I've been wanting and meaning to write this post for a long time. Before the COVID even hit, we have been coming to Jersey Mike's pretty much since they opened. The quality is ALWAYS there as their food goes, but what has always kept us coming back is an employee named Eric. Eric works at the Norman, Ok location and is always amazing! He is always so positive and accommodating, even if you come in right before closing. He is an absolute star of this location. Amazingly fast prep time! I literally live two miles away and still couldn't get there before our online order was ready. Never met Mike but gotta give him kudos for the way he tops off a sandwich. Over-priced and over-hyped. I had heard the ads for some time on the Sports Animal, and I thought I'd give em a try. They had made it sound like this place was a NY style deli-like sandwich joint. Damn was I disappointed! Likes: Decent portions of meat. The bread was okay. Dislikes: How about the $10 per 9 inch sandwich pricetag!!! I got the pastrami, which tasted like Arby's roast beef but more thinly sliced - absolutely NOTHING like pastrami should be! Sorry, but if you call yourself "Jersey" anything, you should make a decent pastrami. My wife got like a chicken club, and she said it was dry and bland. Bland is a vicious understatement for my sad excuse for a pastrami sub though. And what REALLY hacked me off was spending $10 for a 9 inch sub! Seriously, for $10, I could have gotten two footlongs at Subway or a large steak sub with chips, a drink, AND a cookie at Quizno's. Granted that Subway is low quality and doesn't have very good bread, but Quizno's makes twice the sandwich that Jersey Mike's does and at half the price! On top of that, the staff was very visibly showing the frustration of being busy. Bottom line, go elsewhere. Don't waste your money on an average sandwich with a $10 price tag. Wow! That's about all that I can say about Jersey Mike's. In a world where the customer service is poor and sometimes the food is just as poor or worse down right disappointing,Jersey Mike's really stands out. I had the Big Kahana Cheese Steak, let me tell you that it is appropriately named. I would suggest that you get the regular unless you haven't eaten for 2 weeks. Forget those other pretenders to the throne of world's best Subs,Jersey Mike's is King! Nothing beats the freshness of having your Sub prepared right in front of you I including slicing your Meats and Cheese! No prepackaged stuff here, only fresh deliciousness! Typical Jersey Mikes nothing special. Too much vinegar on the sandwich but still good. Kids working were nice but didn't really listen. Soda was flat when asked for a bottle the response was. He just changed it do it shouldn't be flat anymore in a few... Not yes. So I had nothing to drink with my over vinegar sandwich. read more

Husband grew up with a similar restaurant back home on the east coast and he'd heard from friends back there that this was a suitable substitute. He's got a list of subs that he loves there, I tend to stick with the chipotle cheese steak when I'm getting a sub. It's better than Subway or Quizno's, but don't go here expecting something amazing -- it's still a sandwich shop. I appreciate the "sub in a tub" when I'm not feeling like loading up on bread. However, when they have it, their rosemary bread is my favorite. Location is a little difficult to reach, as everything in Robinson Crossing is, but if you're in the area and looking for quick bite, it's a safe bet. read more

I don't think the subs here are any better than at other popular sub chains like Subway and Quizno's. The meat here may be "fresh" (they slice the meat and cheese in front of you, so that's kinda nice), but I think that's more gimmicky than something substantial. Unlike at most sub places, here you only get a choice of white bread and if I remember correctly only lettuce, mayo, tomato, pickle, and special in-house vinaigrette dressing for toppings. Oh, the prices here are also higher than in Subway and Quizno's. A regular sub (slightly shorter than Subway's footlong) costs about $8! read more

I thought subway had bad sandwiches til I tried Jersey Mike's: bread was chewy with no flavor had to eat the other half of my sub without it and the veggies lettuce was brown & tomatoes might as well have been cardboard. Jersey Mike's is more expensive than most other sub joints, but if you're craving their fresh unique tasting subs, I guess you'll pay the extra. I like that the meat is cut fresh when you order. The employees at this location are very friendly and don't mind talking while preparing your sandwich. One thing I really like about them is when you ask for extra oil and vinegar , they give you "the hook up". 4 stars because they are expensive AF But I'll return when I have extra money to blow. Whenever everything is made fresh it is better. We have all been to the sub shop that everything is pre-cut meat instead of fresh cut. It makes a difference when bread and even lettuce is made fresh each day. If you are a bread snob then there is only one sub place you should go and that is Jersey Mikes.
