They had crunch on the outside and plenty of salt. They stopped right before too much salt. Most places fail here. Layne's did not. The toast was simple, buttery, and toasted well. The only aspect now making this a "restaurant" is that the line is now sitting indoors versus waiting outside. They are still making everything in the truck and taking an overload of orders they don't have the capacity to efficiently prepare. If it's going to always take this long, allow for online ordering and/or notifications letting you know when an order is ready. I'm sure they're working on developing the restaurant, but it feels like false advertising to inform customers that it's a brick and mortar shop when in reality it's a food truck that now has even longer lines since it has the capacity to seat people.
